My fiance and I lived in the property for almost 2 years and the team never stopped amazing us with their openness to help and improve on the property/our living conditions! I love their online portal to submit payment for rent and put in work orders for any little thing you may need help with. It is so seamless to have that online portal, I wish everyone had this! Going to miss our space and the team, we just simply outgrew our space!

Fantastic experience: We recently relocated to Miami after leaving about five years ago so we know a little bit about the city. You’ll find non existent properties listed online which is just another bait and switch scheme. You have to do your homework and be careful. Finding a well managed property with an ethical and responsive management team can be daunting. We are extremely happy with Boris Darchy and PMI/Sunshine State. Very professional and responsive to our needs. The property we found and our leasing experience has been excellent.

Negative experience: A company can’t be worse! The man in charge, who is paid by us, doesn’t answer questions or emails. He doesn’t keep to agreements and when in doubt he can’t remenber. Terrible! I‘ ve complained regularly to his boss, but he hasn’t hasn’t ever gotten back to me yet.

Fantastic experience: Ariel from Sunshine has been excellent: responsive, proactive, and often visiting our property herself when needed to resolve a problem.

Negative experience: These guys do a terrible job, they don't answer calls, emails, and provide a general bad service. They can't handle the basic and commen sense aspects of a property management.

Fantastic experience: As a board member of one of the buildings PMI Sunshine State manages, I can see first hand how much time, work, and energy goes into managing a building that is almost 60 years old and has almost a dozen major improvement projects going on simultaneously. Boris and his team do an excellent job of staying on top of this multitude of responsibilities. He's well informed, fast to act, and even comes to the building after hours when there are emergencies that affect the residents (like the building AC system going down). I see some 1-star reviews here, some even without any comments explaining why. I gather these types of reviews may be single personal frustrations that are easy to throw bad reviews at, but do not consider the cause, responsible party, or the size of the project or the work already being done to remedy the situation ASAP. When a manager leaves his family after hours to come on site during an emergency to remedy a major issue with the AC system that went down for reasons not caused my management, to me that deserves a 5-star review rather than a seemingly knee-jerk frustration poor review with no explanation. Having served on other boards and lived in other buildings where management actually doesn't do it's job, I can say first hand that we are lucky to have Boris and PMI.

Fantastic experience: I am on the Board of our Condo Association. We have worked with PMI Sunshine State for one year now. Our prior management company was a disaster and let too many items fall through the cracks and spent money frivolously. Our building, located in Miami Beach, has 30 units. Built in 1966, it needs a tremendous amount of updating as we are working through our checklist in order to receive 40 and 50 year certifications. PMI is extremely professional, honest, quick to respond to issues (of which there are a multitude constantly). I cannot recommend them highly enough. There's an owner in our building with mental health issues. So, if you happen to see a negative review for PMI, please ignore it. 98% of the owners in our building wish this troublemaker would sell his unit and move on. WE ARE ALL FANS OF PMI!!

Fantastic experience: I have worked with PMI for several years, and I must say they stand well above many companies I have worked with. The property management team lets me know immediately about concerns my tenants may have. The team at PMI Sunshine are great at helping to resolve the concerns with the tenants in a timely manner as well. One of the best things they do well is to speak with both myself (property owner) and the tenants. I can send a text or email that gets responded to PROMPTLY! When I do speak to them, they greet me with polite, courteous manner that I find lacking in this industry. Also, they work with my CPA to make sure that the general bookkeeping is up to date. I would shout from the mountaintop, rooftop here in south Florida to let everyone know how grateful I am to have found a great team to work with.

Fantastic experience: First looked up PMI to get there property management services, which are top notched. During which realized it was good time to sell. Boris assisted me with everything. Found issue with the house that need to be fixed, provided companies to help, and stay on top of the projects until finished. Afterwards the house was listed actually sold quickly. Though there was hiccups along the way Boris was always on top of the issue with advice and the transaction went as smooth as it could, thanks to his help. Fantastic experience: I am Certified Public Accountant and for a living I manage very prominent Luxury high rise buildings, however when I was elected the president of my condominium I found that I had had inherited terrible Property manager. We looked for and interview many management companies, that manage small buildings like ours. Among our top priorities was timely monthly financial reporting, collections, transparency, responsive, and vendor management. Fantastic experience: My condominium is using their services for 2 years now and we are lucky that we have them as our management company. They are on top of every situation that we encounter. Their responses are fast and they are able to solve any issues that arise. Comparing them to our previous management company they are true angles. I highly recommend their services without hesitation or second thought and if you were ever mistreated by other management companies, I strongly suggest you hire their services. You will not be disappointed. On the contrary, you will ask yourself, why you haven't reached out to them before.

Negative experience: PMI manages my apartment complex, and unfortunately i have to write an extremely poor review. I have several properties in different locations and this management company for my property is terrible .If i could give ZERO stars i would. They are disorganized, unresponsive, does not follow protocol and following this review I will file a formal complain with the FL Department of Condo Association. If you are thinking of using them to manage your property, I would seriously urge you to reconsider.

Fantastic experience: I can't reccomend Boris and his company enough! I had a family member own an investment property. He needed a property manager he could trust. He's had a few in the past that would quote the lowest price. So naturally we went with them. They didn't do an extentsive background check. The tenants were nightmares, and ending up costing my relative more money in the end. Now he has PMI and its been nothing but smooth sailing. Boris is super responsive and provides great service.
