Fantastic experience: We could not recommend Kelly Ipjian more highly. We first met Kelly when we were looking for a rental after relocating to the Chicago area. Even though that initial search was not a major purchase transaction, she treated us with the same care, responsiveness, and attention she would give a long-term client. She took the time to understand our family, our priorities, and what we needed during a complicated transition. That experience built our trust in her, so when it came time to purchase a home, choosing Kelly again was an easy decision. Kelly later helped us navigate the purchase of a new-construction home in Elmhurst, and she was exceptional from beginning to end. This was not a simple transaction. There were detailed negotiations around inspections, construction completion, punch-list items, property-tax proration, escrow, warranties, the certificate of occupancy, and our family’s firm move-in timeline. Through all of it, Kelly was thoughtful, responsive, practical, and completely committed to protecting our interests while keeping the deal moving forward. What stood out most was Kelly’s judgment. She knew when to push, when to find a workable compromise, and when an issue genuinely required more attention. She communicated extremely well with the seller’s agent, attorneys, lender, inspectors, and builder, often helping translate complicated discussions into clear next steps for us. She also went far beyond simply coordinating the transaction—she researched prior homes built by the builder, helped us connect with previous buyers, organized inspection options, attended to countless details, and consistently anticipated questions before we even knew to ask them. At times, Kelly felt less like a traditional realtor and more like a home and business manager helping run the entire process. She kept us remarkably organized, tracked open items, coordinated across multiple parties, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks. We later learned that she had previously worked as an executive assistant, and that background clearly showed in the best possible way. She brought the same level of organization, follow-through, discretion, and operational discipline to our home purchase that a great EA brings to supporting a senior executive. Kelly was also modern and resourceful in how she worked. She was not afraid to use spreadsheets, structured trackers, AI, and tools like ChatGPT to help synthesize information, compare options, organize feedback, and move decisions forward. That combination of strong human judgment and smart use of technology made the process far more efficient and transparent. Her care for our family went well beyond the transaction itself. We were managing a major move with two young boys, new jobs, and a lot of competing demands. At one point, Kelly even offered to watch the boys in a pinch so we could handle something related to the move. That gesture said a great deal about who she is. She also left incredibly thoughtful gifts for our family, including special items for the boys to help them enjoy and feel excited about their new space. Kelly is warm and easy to work with, but she is also highly capable, tenacious, and detail-oriented. We always felt that she was firmly in our corner. Buying a home at this level requires far more than someone who can arrange showings or prepare an offer—it requires a trusted adviser who can navigate ambiguity, personalities, risk, logistics, and negotiation. Kelly was exactly that for us. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for our family—from helping us find a rental when we first arrived to guiding us through the purchase of our new home—and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone buying, selling, or relocating in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs.

Fantastic experience: After living in the city my whole life I decided to move to the suburbs. I was nervous from moving from a place I was at for over 25 yrs. Kelly asked me about the criteria for the new location. The first day my apartment was listed, Kelly got me a viewing the next day. I decided I wanted it after the walk thru. Kelly moved so fast and was on top of everything and consistently was in communication. Within 2 days I had the apartment. She did the walk thru with me after we got the keys and checked a few things I never thought of.

Fantastic experience: When we first met Kelly Ipjian, she explained that her job is more service than sales. She proved that time and again with her thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Kelly would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. Kelly also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with. In the end we found the property that was perfect for us and are loving it so far.

It was the toughest task because the neighborhood i was looking to rent in was not rent-friendly, and two realtors gave up on finding the perfect home for me before Kelly.
