Fantastic experience: Elizabeth was amazing. I'm not the most tech savy guy. So trying to rent an apartment in chicago from nj was challenging. She patiently walked me through the process and answered numerous texts in a timely manor. Would recommend and use again thank you very much Elizabeth.

Negative experience: I worked with Fred Chubin on a rental over the summer. He quoted me $500 for a move in fee and had that price listed on my application. After reviewing my financials, I got approved for the apartment. When it came time for me to sign the lease, which was delayed until the day before I moved, the move in fee was increased to $1000. That move in fee is more than 50% of my monthly rent, which is illegal. Fred was steadfast that he was allowed to increase the fee, that I could either sign or not, and that he was uninterested in discussing right or wrong. I would not recommend anyone work with him or this company.

Fantastic experience: For about 10 years, Cesar Torres has assisted our firm with all matters related to rentals and property management, we appreciate the extra effort and professionalism, we are looking forward to many more years of collaboration!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. I Had to plan a Move Across States and a lot of the Properties in Chicago were not willing to work with me. Trying to work and Move at the same time didn't give me much time or flexibility to do much. Cesar helped me out a lot and found me the first property out of many that I have tried that actually approved me. I am so grateful for his help. I highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: Alonzo was not up to date with current leasing information, was untimely, and did not keep up with our appointment. Failed to even apologize.

Positive experience: My experience with Elan Realty Group in selling could not have been any better. Elan Realty Group staff far exceeded my expectations. As a recent father and extremely busy firefighter I needed all he help I could get. Everything went so smooth and they were so easy and pleasurable to work with. My family is so fortunate that we where able to work with them.

Fantastic experience: Working with Alonzo was an absolutely amazing experience. I reached out about an apartment and spoke with him and he said it was unavailable but that he had something better and he would send me pictures. He sent them right away and wow he was right the apartment was amazing! He made EVERYTHING so easy for me and always answered all my questions so quickly. If I decide to move again I literally saved his number in my phone because there's no doubt in my mind I won't get this kind of service from anyone else.

Negative experience: Only spoke with one of their agents but she was passive aggressive. If that's how she responds to potential renters I have no idea how it would to to live there...

Fantastic experience: Ask for Ceasar

Negative experience: Cesar is dishonest and will attempt to make current tenants pay $50 each for a subleaser because he has to type up a new lease agreement. He should not be trying to get money out of tenants but instead talk to the landlord. I would never recommend anyone to this real estate agency as I’ve experience a dishonest agent.

Negative experience: Elizabeth N is the worst agent I have been working with: rude, impatient, unprofessional and unreliable! Elizabeth is just a careless individual who does not seem to like people and her job. She barely responds to correspondence, she never shows up, and of course she never apologizes. Her time is way more important than yours! Find some else please!!! Really!!

Fantastic experience: Alonzo helped my daughter find an apartment in the city. We have dealt with half a dozen agents before him. We first contacted him for one apartment. He understood right away that it wasn’t what she was looking for, and helped us search MLS for a listing with all her specs. He was jovial and enthusiastic. It made the pain of looking at apartments something we looked forward to.

Positive experience: Everything was fast with this process, we’re pleased we got approved for our place. We felt things were professional and Alonzo got right to the point when we walked in.. we didn’t need to ask tons of questions because he was giving us answers before we had to. My only complaint is how long it’s taken for my move in fee to be taken (over a week and it’s still not processed) and that I can’t get a response about it to ensure they received it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fantastic experience: As my fiancée and I are new to the north shore area, we looked at numerous options for renting during our time in Chicago. Fred Chubin from Elan Realty made our search as painless as can be! Not only did he work tirelessly to show us numerous apartments on our complicated schedule, but he also helped find the right space for our price point and wish list. Working with the Elan group and Fred was an excellent experience and one we would recommend if you’re on the hunt for a new space!

Fantastic experience: My autistic son needed an apartment of his own. Fred Chubin helped us find one that was affordable, clean, comfortable, safe, and located so that my son can take the train to work, instead of driving. It is nearly perfect, and we would not have found it without him.

We were very limited for time ( in town for the weekend), yet Candace was able to very quickly grasp exactly what we were looking for in regards to location, price and amenities. She listened to what I needed and did not just send me automated listings from MLS. She dug in and found a great place at a great price. I whole-heartedly recommend her for all your realty needs!!

Negative experience: My girlfriend and I were trying to schedule a viewing for a apartment with this leasing agency but were swayed from even applying. If my memory serves me correct, it is against the law to try to deter someone from renting from a unit. Whoever the guy was, gave us the run around and continued to tell us common sense things about the process for the application. We were spoke to as if we were complete idiots and incompetent. Wish I could post screenshots. Stay away, they don’t know the first thing about professionalism. Oh and I forgot, before you even apply they do their own google search on you to determine if they will set up a listing with you. They do a full background search before you even put in a application.

Fantastic experience: Blake Galler did an exellent job listening to what I really wanted out of my new apartment and was amazing at helping me with any questions, always so sweet and it was a great experience. Negative experience: Had very nice units, but otherwise horrible service. My roommates and I looked at a 2 bedroom 2 batbroom garden level condo for $1650/month plus a one month deposit. After paying a processing fee of $90 for our appication they requested us to put 2 months down. Look else where. Waste of your time.
