Fantastic experience: Nate and his team managed my duplex in Akron for the last four years and did a great job for me. Since I live out of state, I really depended on him to handle the day-to-day issues with the property, deal with the tenants, coordinate repairs, and let me know when something needed my attention. He was always responsive and easy to work with, and I always felt like I could trust him to take care of things. I recently sold the property, so I no longer need property management, but I was very happy with Nate and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a property manager in the Akron area.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE!!! I hate that I was so desperate to move and chose the home im currently renting! This is by far the worst company ive ever dealt with! There's been so many issues since the 1st day i moved in! I was told by the landlord to put in a maintenance request for all the problems that I noticed in the first 14 days...I did that and(mind you this is November) they sent out a maintenance man to fix most of the issues BUT he never fixed anything and would mark the job complete! I have filed multiple complaints and it took them months to fix things that I was told on my move in date would be addressed immediately! Another issue is they are trying to force me to pay their past due balance for the water/sewer bill! I emailed them proof of their past due balance that was added to my rent statement I was told it would be adjusted! But ofcourse it was added back on 2 months later! I have been calling, texting and emailing this company begging to speak with someone and nothing is being done!!! Next issue is they have the home up for sell which is no problem BUT WHY DID THEY TAKE PICTURES OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND USE THEM FOR STAGING WITHOUT MY CONSENT?! They have a pic of my child on the couch sleeping they also have my personal pictures posted! My furniture, tv etc I mean why would they post that without telling me? They dont know who I know, who im trying to keep out of personal life I mean how about some privacy!! I shouldn't be able to search my address and see pics of my personal belongings for the public to see!! What if someone decides to break into my home? Like come on I have children there is no way the privacy of my home was disrupted by some terrible realtors with no common sense! Once my lease is up this company will not have to worry about me ever again!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!

Fantastic experience: I was placed in a very tough situation. I had 30 days to find my family a home. I originally applied for one apartment. Unfortunately someone was quicker than me and they ended up getting it. 2 days later I recieved a text message letting me know the property I applied for was taken. They asked if I would like to put my application towards another property or they offered me a refund on my application fees. Only company to do this. They ladies were very nice and understanding. Thank you guys for circling back and giving me and my kids another home.

Fantastic experience: Excellent property manager, if you want to grow your portfolio in the Cleveland area I highly recommend Nathan and his team, they are very responsible, honest and understand the need to provide a good home for the tenants.

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Nathan on a duplex and he has been phenomenal. I'm remote so I need boots on the ground. Nathan is more than a PM. He has provided so much value before I have even officially closed including insight on specific neighborhoods, property layout, repairs needed to get it rent ready, getting items fixed before closing etc. I am lucky to have him and his team managing my property. He is direct, transparent and communicative. Would recommend!

Negative experience: My experience was at an Aligned Properties apartment in Akron, Ohio. I signed a one year lease on December 29, 2025, but moved out on March 31, 2026, after only three months due to ongoing issues with the property. Before moving in, I was told the apartment would be cleaned and certain issues would be repaired. When I received the unit, it was not move in ready. I had to deep clean the apartment myself before moving in my belongings, and some cabinet doors were painted shut and could not be opened. Management ultimately provided a $100 concession due to the condition of the apartment at move in, which I have documentation of. During my tenancy, I experienced numerous problems, including mice, roaches, repeated hot water outages, overflowing trash, and security concerns. Maintenance was outsourced, communication was often poor, and many concerns remained unresolved despite repeated requests. Prior to taking any legal action, I attempted to resolve these issues through email, phone calls, written correspondence, maintenance requests, and communication with management. When those efforts did not resolve the concerns, I contacted the city inspector and ultimately filed a rent escrow case. I prevailed in that case and provided documentation supporting my concerns. I understand that others may have had different experiences. However, my experience at this property was very different. I did not sign a one year lease intending to leave after three months. Had the issues been addressed in a timely manner, I would have remained for the duration of my lease. As of the date of this review, I am still awaiting communication regarding my security deposit. After moving out, I provided my forwarding address by email and am awaiting the resolution of that matter. My advice to prospective tenants is to document everything. Keep communications in writing whenever possible, save maintenance requests, and take photographs and videos of any issues. Those records proved invaluable when I needed them. Based on my experience, I would not rent from this company again.

Positive experience: I viewed an apartment through this company recently and loved the place, was also very interested in applying, but had follow-up questions I needed answered before I felt comfortable sending in an application. Well, the number on the website took me to a 3rd party service that "only handles scheduling showings" and had no information about who I could direct any questions to. When I texted the number I received a confirmation for the showing from, they suggested I schedule a showing so I can see the property... after I said I had follow-up questions after seeing the place. Then, they said they "don't do phone calls," as they need to keep record of conversations (?). I asked if I could speak to someone who had physically seen the property and was told that the only agent who has was out of office and would be back in on Tuesday. It's Friday now, I haven't received any message back, but I did get an email saying the unit is off the market. I'm just really disappointed in the whole process and felt dismissed overall.

Fantastic experience: We are having a great experience renting from this group! We love our home and are so appreciative of the maintenance staff and how responsive and professional they are! This is truly a great experience with renting!

Negative experience: I would never recommend aligned properties for anything not for investors not for poeple to rent for no one I worked with this so called group and they are never on the same page with the tenants they call people to put these fake reviews to look good but I promise they are no good they have so called field agents who don’t know the first thing about fixing a house they go in and supposedly look at what’s needed to be fixed and they fix what’s convenient for them not only that you get sent to do a job and then add a bunch of other thing to the list and want you to work for free Nathan Fisher is the rudest person to work with and never remembers what he talks to you about please poeple if you have a different choice for your property to be managed take it I don’t recommended using aligned properties you will regret it

Fantastic experience: Managing my properties has never been simple — they were challenging from the very beginning — but Nate with Aligned Properties Group stepped in and completely changed the experience. He took on issues that had been overwhelming and handled them with professionalism, consistency, and real expertise. Communication has been clear and proactive, problems get addressed quickly, and they’ve brought stability to situations that had felt unmanageable. I finally feel like my properties are in capable hands, and the difference has been night and day. If you’re dealing with difficult rentals or just want a management team that truly shows up, I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Whole building has been without water for 2 days and it's impossible to speak to a person with this rental company. The "emergency maintenance" line directs you to some call center in India and all it does is place a regular maintenance request, which you're able to do yourself without waiting on hold for 15 minutes. The only other contact you can get with the company is an AI chatbot that's completely useless.

Fantastic experience: Really loved the layout of the house. Hoping to possibly move in it!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. Eviction notices and late fees on the app when I’m a month ahead on my payments. People randomly walking around the bottom unit and knocking on the inside door to my unit without me knowing people are coming by. Communication only when it’s convenient for them. If I need a problem solved I can expect a 24 hour delay to a response or usually just no response at all. I would recommend going with anyone over this company. It has been an absolute disaster since the start. Make sure you read all the “good” reviews they have, you’ll notice that the only good reviews come from the people they are managing the properties for. They do not care about you at all if you are a tenant. They have an F on BBB for a reason.

Fantastic experience: i had literally nothing but a great experience with these people. they purchased the property i lived at in the middle of my lease & off the jump were extremely kind, respectful, and so helpful when it came to any issues/repairs. the maintenance team they sent out for anything were always super polite/respectful people. i never once had an issue with them showing up unannounced, communication was always really good, and they conduct business in a professional & proper way. i had a minor issue with my downstairs neighbor (wouldn’t stop smoking cigarettes inside) & they handled that situation great. overall, the entire year and a half i spent in their property (under their ownership) was a really good experience. as far as landlords/property managers go, these people are easily the best i’ve dealt with.

Negative experience: Do not apply for apartment with them. Poorest services ever.

Negative experience: Save your self time and money. I rented from this company but even before then there was issue . That by itself should have been enough for me not to deal with them. However I have nate the benefit of the doubt and rented from there. I rented a place in Lakewood nice area everyone was friendly. The issue I had with this place was they never fixed anything ever. Mold all in the one bedroom and in the bathroom. Washer dryer for the bottom unit was broken when I moved in and never got fixed despite the many reports. They would send the same guy and it he would check it off as fixed but wasn’t fixed. When the refrigerator broke or I should say stop cooling they did replace it quick but the issue was I had just brought grocery the night before and still had the receipts to prove I spent $500 for myself and my son. When I brought it up to Nate he said there wasn’t going to be a refund and wouldn’t take anything off the rent. So apparently my children were supposed to starve for a few weeks. I think not. When I took the rent - the $500 he sent it back and added a late fee saying if the rent wasn’t in full he wouldn’t accept it. Not even 1 month after this incident the stove stop working and it took 3 months for them to order and send a new one. There was a constant issue with the drains not draining water in bathroom and kitchen nothing was ever done about this either. At this point in time I asked about moving out I had found out I was pregnant so it wasn’t worth all of the headaches for me to continue to stay in a place that continues had issue . I was told if I broke my lease I would be responsible for the rent until it was re rented. I ended up staying two months afterword but due to health issue I was in the hospital more than I was at home which created financial issue. I went through 3 majors surgeries. NATE. Refused to work with me to get catch up filed for an eviction against me then had the audacity to tell me less than 24 hour prior to the court hearing I could move out and I wouldn’t be penalized. He’s not a good person and if you are a single parent I urge you to go else where so you don’t end up in the situation I was in.

Fantastic experience: Aligned Properties is the best! They resolved a difficult tenant issue in under a month and got my triplex fully rented in just weeks. As a realtor, I won’t recommend anyone else—fast, professional, and truly on top of their game!

Nate and his team have been extremely professional and responsive to any request for information and during tenant turnover. They performed a turnover for a 4 bedroom unit within about a week at an affordable price and returned an amazing product. I would highly recommend Aligned Properties to anyone who wants their property managed by a professional team that takes care of a property as if it were their own.

He tells it like it is and gets things done quickly. He has a lot of different contacts, which helps with pricing and timing. I recently had some problems with my latest tenant and Nate took care of it instantly. Happy to have been referred to him.

Negative experience: I would strongly advise not renting a unit from Aligned Properties Group. I did not have the best experience from day 1. I moved to Cleveland from Dayton and signed a lease with a move in date of November 1, 2022 as the date got closer I was advised that the current tenants needed to stay longer and I was not able to move in until November 15, 2022. During the 15 day gap I had to bounce around to different AirBNB's so I would have a place to stay since I didn't know anyone in town. The poor/lack of communication was also a problem from the beginning. Getting someone to come and do maintenance on the house was an absolute nightmare. The fridge in the unit went out and luckily I had one of my own and was able to replace it. I left the house cleaner than when I moved in and was charged a cleaning fee from my deposit. I also left the fridge there for them since we didn't need it at our new place and a dryer for them to keep. I was also charged for repairs on the house that were normal wear and tear. The house has plaster walls and there were cracks all the way throughout, I was charged for the repair of plaster falling off the walls which is clearly from the house being old. I did leave behind a couple items, that they had to move out, or could have left for new tenants as it was all usable items, with the exception of a mattress and box spring but out of my $1300 deposit they are only giving me back $185 which is a joke. I expected to not get all my money back back not $185 out of $1300. I called to office to discuss this with someone, left 2 messages and got no reply. I finally decided to text the number that had texted me about my move out and got a message saying, "you are welcome to send questions here" there was no apology for not being contacted beforehand. After sending my questions I got a reply saying a follow-up email has been sent, which still didn't answer my questions so I asked more and have yet to get a rely. I have rented for the last 10 years and have never had this kind of experience with a landlord before. I would advise you to thoroughly do your research before moving into one of Nathans places before doing so. Update: I finally received a text back after I'm assuming this review was looked at saying that Nathan was going to work with me on the deposit but now he can't. Professionalism is clearly not a characteristic that Nathan seems to have.

Negative experience: Moved into one of their units 11/9 and from the person showing the house being unknowledgeable about the property, to the property being received in filthy conditions, to the poor communication by the management team, to the lack of response by the maintenance team, we have had nothing but a poor experience with Aligned Property Management so far! I’ve dealt with slumlord management groups like them before, 100% believe all the other bad reviews based on my experience so far with this company. If we left this property in exactly the same conditions that we got it in, they would 100% be trying to keep our deposit and charge us for damages and cleaning, but they gave it to us like that. SMH

Negative experience: For the love of God, avoid this place. My experience with this place has not been great. The landlord is a slumlord who doesn’t care. THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY KEEP YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT!!!! FYI, not all tenants are the lease-signer.

Negative experience: The definition of slum lords do not rent from them Nate and his team left my home with out hot water or a furnace for a month after my basement flooded with sewage and still expected rent to be paid for a home that was unlivable! Then they let us out of the lease and still expected money and tried to black ball us from getting a new home. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!!

Negative experience: This company is absolutely ridiculous. They just took over our apartment complex and immediately issues eviction notices on fabricated information from the landlord. I guess at this point, my attorneys and fair housing will see you in court. Never the less, your client "Steve Nedolast" of SLHS Investments LLC is a complete slum lord, and has the nerve to talk about my wife out of name and out of context to our neighbors. Too bad the neighbors he was talking to are related to our family. We are fighting this to the very very end. The made up numbers of back rent owed is absolutely worrisome. We paid Junes rent to the former property management company, who decided to not do business with Steve as he was a liability. Extortionate at best, theft at worst! We will see you in court! When it was 3 bedrooms, an attic and 2 1/2 baths. It was misleading.
