In my role, I have the privilege of serving 10–20 homeowner / buyers a month and have been doing so for decades. I know a high-level agent when I see one — and Jessie Allison is one of them. On a transaction we closed today, the appraisal came back with significant required repairs: full interior and exterior paint, mold testing and remediation, and multiple plumbing and electrical updates. In many cases, situations like this turn into frustration, blame, or attempts to “work around” the problem. Too often, the focus shifts to salvaging the deal instead of protecting the client. Fantastic experience: We were first time homebuyers with no idea what we were doing and Jesse was an amazing realtor! He was really helpful in weeding out homes we found online without us having to go and look at them based on the info he could find on the house and the loans that would be accepted. He was very good with meeting us at the houses that we did want to look at. When we met with him for the first offer we did for a house, he went over the whole process from submitting the offer, to closing on the house. He recommended inspections and helped us make the best decisions with our offers. He was there for the whole inspection with us and is nice to hang out with and talk to as it’s going on. He was actually recommended to me by a friend in the area and I chose to go with him when I found my corporate relocation assigned agent to be very bad with communication. Jesse on the other hand is great! I was a first time home buyer buying a house in a state I had never been to while living across the country. It was intimidating to say the least! However, Jesse was able to answer all of my questions (and there were a lot) about buying a house and about the area! He was able to pack in tons of showings in the three days I was in the state and I was able to put in an offer for a house before I left. While I ended up losing that house Jesse was very prompt in getting right back at it and helping me put in an offer on my second pick! We had some unexpected and confusing problems with the gas company while closing and Jesse was able to smoothly handle those as they arose and moved closing along.
