Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with them showing my appt while we were at work. I asked for my cat to be left alone and they lied to me saying they would. I would of never of known if I didn't put a string on the door so if it was opened I'd know. For all I know they kicked my cat to keep her in the room. But nobody will know because they like to lie

Fantastic experience: Hello, I have rented from Property Minds going on 6 years May 1st. I would say the maintenance, communication, and service are top notch and have gotten better each year. The place is very spacious, allows pets (which is very important to me), and in a nice neighborhood. When my wash machine quit working, a new one was delivered in a couple of days. When my smoke detectors all decided to go off at the same time at 6 a.m., they were there very shortly to fix the issue. Would highly recommend! Love it here!

Negative experience: I didn't have a terrible experience renting from them, aside from the unit isn't in the best shape. My biggest issue comes with the 3% yearly increase in rent. I've only rented here 1 year, and already they are increasing rent by 3% when the national cost of living raises only come at 2.8%... it seems like a steep annual price gouge just so a greedy landlord can buy a second and third vacation house. From what I understand, there was also a price increase last year, which is why the previous tenants left. My last rental was an exact replica of this layout, with an extra bathroom and I paid $200 less!! From what else I'm finding around town, there are cheaper options for what you get. Pro: they have laundry machines in all their units.

Fantastic experience: Moved in last week. Common areas are very clean and neat, even the garage. Very quiet, can't here any noise from neighboring apartments. Super conveniently located to Grocery store, banks, Gas stations and resturaunts. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can spend more time at the park and on the trails.

But at property minds, they are there to fix things. 24/7, they keep the yard and everything. Fantastic experience: The property is very clean. The apartment is spacious, clean, great insulation (I don’t hear my neighbors) and warm. I had trouble with my smoke alarm battery and maintenance came at 2am to fix it! Our lot is quickly plowed. The stairwell is vacuumed and cleaned. I cannot say enough good about them!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting through Property Minds for a couple of years now! The staff are great, maintenance is quick and friendly - we’ve never had issues. A couple of months ago while on vacation in Florida, my home sitter locked the keys and garage opener inside. It was Friday, at 3pm! I called the office and Nicole sent maintenance over in 5 minutes. She even offered to walk over herself if maintenance was unavailable. The PM team is awesome, really cannot get much better than this!

Fantastic experience: I'm an 18 month tenant in a very nice 2 bedroom apartment in a quadplex. Competitive rent. Never more than two days(normally one if not same day) on maintenance calls. Attentive general maintenance(lawn care, snow removal, furnace filter swaps). Pleasant staff who answer the phone. Move in was a breeze and the place was clean and ready.

Fantastic experience: We rent a beautiful apartment in a 6 plex, affordable prices, safe neighborhood, very nice and personable staff. We even worked with Derek Trainor, a WI Real Estate Broker for Rocket Construction/Property Minds who helped us find a commercial space for our new business Eau Claire Billiards Bar and Grill. Derek's service to our needs was nothing short of above and beyond for us but I know for him, he operates in excellence all the time. We were brand new to this business venture, he was truly the catalyst for our project and master networker. He provided us with the right resources, the right direction, the right people and information AND guided us when needed during the entire process, often times collaborating on our behalf with vendors, service contractors, etc. so we could focus on other core aspects of our start up. I highly recommend Derek for his impeccable professionalism and diligence in real estate. We were lucky because he had work experience in both the landlord and tenant side, so he was able to help us negotiate our lease from a very knowledgeable perspective. I would also recommend Property Minds/Rocket Construction for any related needs in leasing, renting, building. We have met several of the staff, everyone is warm, smart and geniunely cares about this community.

Negative experience: I have been renting for nearly three years and what they decide to do at times they don't renew your lease when a third year comes up and they've done that to a few other people just so they can get rid of you and they raise their rents crazy for new people moving in with no response why

Fantastic experience: I rented from these amazing people back in college. Honestly, an amazing company with such a great team. Anytime I had any problems, they responded immediately. I stayed for a few lease terms, and it was probably my best experience renting from anywhere. We originally ended up renting when a friend of ours was going through a hard time. Sam let us sign onto the lease with no issue and we ended up staying longer than our friend did! Everything was easy, and to the point. Even the landscaping was timely and thourough! Upon moving out, we were given a list of things we needed to execute. Obviously cleaning, patching holes, taking down things that didn't come with the home... very detailed and easy to follow guide. Whenever someone wanted to tour the home, they gave us a full day notice and asked if it was okay to tour. Very kind guester and appreciated their warnings. After moving out, we got a very detailed document of every corner of the home. They pointed a few things we overlooked, but that's what an inspection is for, right? A couple weeks after move out, we recieved our security deposit of about 80%. Which, given the few things we missed, is 100% undertandable. Overall, I had a very enjoyable time at the home through Property Minds. Very down to earth and professional crew and really made my college living amazing. I would recommend them to anyone in the EC area, or looking to join the EC area. Sam is an amazing guy who knows his stuff. Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience renting with Property Minds over the last 4 years in River Prairie. The location is perfect, the rooms/closets/living areas are massive, and the shared rooms/garage were always clean, and the other neighbors were wonderful. I recently bought a house and Nicole was absolutely amazing and so supportive during the stressful moving process. Nicole was able to find a new tenant for our unit which allowed us to move out sooner. She was also quick to respond to any question or concern that arose during our tenancy. Nicole is a really fantastic landlord - highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I've only been living in a Property Minds apartment for a short time. However, they have made my move/experience very easy! Prior to moving in, I needed some minor things taken care of (tv mounts, water filter replaced, dish washer issue), and they were on top of the issues right away. So far, I have ZERO complaints!

Negative experience: I’m not usually one to be posting reviews for companies. However, please do yourself a favor and do not rent with this company. My husband and I recently left an apartment that was leased with property minds. We were told to give a vacate notice before we left. When we did, we were told that we were still responsible for the apartment until the end of the lease. However, they did not stick to this and immediately went into the apartment without providing us any warning as they had a new tenant scheduled to move in a week after our vacate date. Our cleaning items that were still in the apartment were thrown away. We were not notified that we would no longer be responsible for the apartment until the day the new tenants moved in as they needed our keys back. We paid for an entire last month of rent when another tenant moved in half way through the month. We were eventually told after this that we would be pro-rated for this, but never received it. Sam has continued to push off our complaints and has told us that he does not have the time to notify tenants of things like this nor did he have the time to create a shortened lease, yet continues to put all of this on us as our fault. We are now out $600 worth of cleaning supplies and have still paid for an entire month’s rent when we were only responsible for half.

Positive experience: Management and staff take service requests serious and are prompt on fixing issues. My unit was well maintained and clean when I moved in. Would recommend their properties and if I ever moved back to area would definitely stay again.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible rental company served a freshly mother of two a non re newal of lease who’s never missed a payment or broken any lease agreements. I wouldn’t rent from these guys if it was my last option and I’d suggest the same for anyone else looking here. 0/10 also a majority thier 5 stars are from their friends/ employees not actual tenants

Negative experience: Out to get every dollar out of you plus some when you move out. Served a bunch of non renewals to myself and other tenants and jacked the rent up on all units.

Negative experience: Can’t even keep up on snow removal. And they mow the lawn at 8am. Expect a ice covered driveway. Everything used to build the properties is cheap and breaks

Negative experience: I rented a property that was originally with a different management company. Towards the end (I had been in that property for close to 10 years) they created this company and moved the property under this management, that was when everything went downhill. They raised the rents and became very difficult to deal with. They tried to enforce an illegal charge, in Wisconsin statute ATCP 134.06(3)(c), it is illegal for a landlord to charge a tenant for routine carpet cleaning, even if it is in the signed lease it is illegal and not enforceable. Please know your rights as tenants

Negative experience: They had us pay $20 each before we could view any of the properties then ignore every phone call and text message we send them. It has been over a month and we have not seen a single place.
