Negative experience: My experience with the Citrus Valley Realtors Association complaint process was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns regarding transparency, procedural fairness, and accountability. After submitting a formal ethics complaint (G-1) supported by documentation and evidence, the matter was dismissed almost immediately, without any meaningful explanation, findings, or indication that the substance of the complaint was evaluated. No clear rationale, investigative summary, or procedural detail was provided to justify the outcome. In good faith, I exercised my right to appeal and supplemented the record with additional facts, including documentation reflecting ongoing communications and conduct that I believe warranted review under applicable professional standards. Despite this, the appeal was again denied in a similarly rapid and conclusory manner, giving the appearance that the process was predetermined or not meaningfully considered. From my perspective, the sequence of events--initial dismissal followed by an equally swift rejection of the appeal--did not reflect a process grounded in careful review or due consideration. Instead, it appeared administrative in nature, lacking the transparency and deliberation one would reasonably expect from a professional association tasked with upholding ethical standards. I also found it concerning that no substantive engagement with the evidence provided was ever communicated. At no point were specific deficiencies identified, nor was there any indication that the facts submitted were weighed against the applicable rules or code of ethics. This absence of explanation makes it difficult to understand how or why the determinations were reached. To be clear, this review reflects my personal experience and interpretation of the process. However, based on that experience, I cannot recommend reliance on this forum for meaningful review or accountability. Individuals seeking a thorough, transparent, and responsive complaint process may need to consider alternative avenues. Given the seriousness of the issues raised, I have pursued escalation through other appropriate regulatory channels.

Positive experience: I wish they had more classes with lunch ... No just kidding! I like attending the classes better bc we learn from other people's questions = point of view & Experiences. That the zoom meetings tend to be very limited on time sometimes.

Fantastic experience: I belong to several Associations in the 3 states that I work. This by far is one of the most professional associations I deal with. They are polite, quick to help, easy going and most of all they are fair to all. They take their standards seriously and that is great for us looking for professional support. By far the best Association.

Negative experience: The Realtors here were very rude and inconsiderate. I had asked, what seemed to be a nice easy-going gentlemen, if there was an Wi-Fi present here at the office I could connect to & he says "no, not for you at least." My opinion is, if you want someone to make you feel like a pile I suggest you visit this Realtors office.

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this Board. I HIGHLY recommend other boards. At my previous board I was able to only pay MLS dues for my employee and Citrus Valley doesn't like that much. They placed a hold on my employee's account even though we had paid for her MLS dues and NEVER even emailed us. Not worth your money. Go elsewhere!

Negative experience: Quite frankly I would not recommend this Association. They are there to assist us agents whom by the way they make money off of but they don't help or work with you< NEVER. In fact they pretty much laughed and scoffed at the fact I didn't have the entire amount to transfer from EVAR when they were trying to charge me next years dues before next year has even arrived. In fact I wouldve never changed from EVAR because EVAR is waaaay better unfortunately my broker is not affiliated with EVAR so I had to transfer my association. AGAIN, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS ASSOCIATION FOR NO ONE, MUCH LESS AN AGENT THAT IS BARELY STARTING TO GET COMFORTABLE IN THIS BUSINESS!!! THERE ARE OTHER ASSOCAITIONS OUT THERE THAT WILL APPRECIATE YOU MORE!!! TRUST ME!!!! (And they were rude over the phone) 2 THUMBS DOWN!!

Fantastic experience: As A Real Estate Broker I have always appreciated the on-going out-pour support from my local Board Citu Valley Assoc. of Realtor's. The new location is gorgeous, the "shop" has so many great things to better serve my clients, and the Training is always phenomenal. I love this place!
