Fantastic experience: I spent virtually my entire adult life living and owning one home on a beautiful rural estate with a pond, stream and woods. From humble beginnings in 1979 with a mobile home, over the years we built a beautiful large house and my wife and I have deep, deep roots there that made our decision to move to a smaller, warmer location most daunting both emotionally and physically. My wife has known Terry Ayres for several years by way of having her show various rental properties we considered from time to time, when no other agents were especially interested. We never actually followed through on any, but Terry was always happy to show as many homes as we wanted and she and my wife bonded a bit. So when it came time for us to sell, there was no question as to whom we wanted to represent us. Between prioritizing various fix-up projects and improvements before selling, advising us on staging what where, Terry was a confident, calming presence as she guided us through the process. She even personally contacted and managed some contractor work for us as my wife and I were traveling for our respective jobs, even after closing, which was handled by Terry personally as we were both enroute to our new home at that point. She was even kind enough to return Verizon equipment for us on our closing date as well as coordinating the return of some items we inadvertently moved with us back to the new owners via our moving company. She was always responsive and quick to answer our many questions and provide a little encouragement. Terry is organized, experienced and just really good at her job, which she seems to truly enjoy. Because our property was fairly distinctive, there were few comps to use as a basis for our asking price. After a lot of discussion and thought, Terry helped us get it exactly right as we received an offer slightly above our asking price the same day it was listed, from sellers who seemed to recognize they were buying a place that is truly special. Fantastic experience: I cannot express how wonderful our experience with Terry has been. From the very first step until after our closing, Terry has been there. She has kept my husband and informed and excited! Each and every step, from the listing of our property, to the inspections on the new property, has been so easy because of her hard work and research. She anticipated every single move for us!
