Sherry Wiggs, Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate

Fantastic experience: We can’t say enough wonderful things about Sherry Wiggs! She was absolutely amazing throughout this entire process and made everything so much easier and less stressful for my mom. Selling a home after so many years can be an emotional and overwhelming experience, but Sherry was there every step of the way, guiding us through everything with patience, kindness, and professionalism. She was always available to answer questions, kept us informed, and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. It was such a comfort knowing my mom was in such good hands. Sherry truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for all of her hard work and support. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you, Sherry, for making this experience such a positive one for my mom!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Sherry Wiggs to anyone looking for an exceptional realtor. Sherry recently sold my home, and throughout the entire process she was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcome for me. Sherry paid close attention to our personal requests and priorities, ensuring we felt heard and supported every step of the way. Her consistent follow-up kept us informed throughout the process, including during negotiations, where her expertise, communication, and dedication were especially valuable. Her attention to detail made the entire experience smooth and far less stressful. I was so impressed with Sherry’s service that I have confidently referred her to friends. She is trustworthy, hardworking, and truly goes above and beyond for her clients. I’m grateful for everything she did and would gladly work with her again. Betty & Cesar Ortiz

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of listening in on a presentation that Sherry gave about the status of Westchester properties and the market. She blew us all away with statistics and information about the where and why of pricing dynamics. Was a real eye opener. If you need a professional to help sell - Sherry definitely knows her stuff.

Fantastic experience: Sherry is exceptional at what she does, serving as an incredible wealth of knowledge who brings valuable perspective to her clients and colleagues. She makes considerable effort to understand the market dynamics of Westchester County. I will continue to refer Sherry.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience working with Sherry. I was tasked with wrapping up an estate, and selling a home was part of that job. Sherry was just absolutely fantastic in helping me get through this painlessly. Her assistance with the cleanout and coming up with our overall strategy was truly invaluable. To the very last day (literally the day of closing) Sherry was there and helped arrange for some lingering items to be taken care of before the buyers would sign the contract. She knows the area extremely well , and has access to all the resources we needed to avail ourselves of to get this sale finalized. I cannot recommend Sherry's services enough. THANK YOU.

Fantastic experience: Sherry was very supportive, resourceful and diligent throughout the process of helping us find our family home in our ideal neighborhood. Sherry was very accommodating throughout the process, often times making accommodations for a last minute viewing. She played an imperative role in navigating us into a competitive offer which ultimately got us our home. It was a lengthy process in this tough, highly competitive market, but Sherry was persistent and unyielding with finding us a home which will become ours.

Fantastic experience: We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor than Sherry. In a tough market, she guided us with patience, honesty, and incredible local knowledge, helping us close quickly and confidently. Her advice was spot-on, and she truly understood what we were looking for. We’re so grateful and would recommend her without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Sherry is an exceptional real estate agent from start to finish. She is extremely professional, highly responsive, and truly attentive to every detail. No matter the question or concern, Sherry was always quick to respond and provided clear, thoughtful guidance throughout the entire process. Her expertise and dedication made everything smooth and stress-free. We felt fully supported and confident every step of the way. I would highly recommend Sherry to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and outstanding real estate professional.

Fantastic experience: Sherry Wiggs is a dynamic, professional agent who leaves no stone unturned. She went above and beyond to make the transaction go smoothly. She ensured that everyone was satisfied. A skilled real estate professional. I wouldn’t do another deal without her!

Fantastic experience: Sherry is a great realtor ! She was resourceful, patient, and always made sure she or a colleague were available to us throughout the process. We purchased a historic home that required a lot of visits with various contractors before even closing and without Sherry we wouldn’t have been able to get ahead of the 8ball on the project. Suffice it to say she went above and beyond what I think most realtors would be willing to do and it showed. 5 stars !

Fantastic experience: You are not going to find a better realtor than Sherry. The most important thing to you when buying or selling, becomes the most important thing to Sherry. Sherry will tell you straight up what’s happening every step of the way and is never a hard sell. It took us a long time to get in the area we wanted at an affordable price... Sherry is the best.

Negative experience: Update: sherry thanks for responding to my review, doesn't matter who me or my agents are, my message to you is (Be professional and respectful to the people you deal with, especially people in the same field of your employment).. My agent recently contacted Sherry regarding a condo in Tarrytown, this lady is unprofessional, (yes i read her reviews) She was not only extremely rude, but dismissed my agent immediately and hung up before he can get a word in. If you present an offer and she is the agent. She will ignore it and pretend it does not exist. At least have the professional courtesy from one agent to the next to be civil. This was our experience your's maybe different.

Fantastic experience: Sherry is a terrific real estate agent. I’ve been using her for sales and purchases for almost 15 years now. Sherry outworks everyone else. On top of that, her advice has gotten me top dollar and has exceeded all expectations each time. Her insight in the buying process also is above what you will get anywhere else. She knows the market, she knows what renovations cost, she knows the tax structure, she knows the schools. Everything. She knows what the price should be and how to keep you in your budget and find the best value for whatever you’re looking for. She makes sure you don’t overpay. All these parts add up to supreme buyer satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: Experienced, very skilled and knows the market well. Ms Wiggs provided solid advice along with recommendations for staging and for contractors that were timely and cost effective.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Sherry! My husband and I were on a tight timeline with strict schedules trying to compete in this crazy housing market. Sherry was always available to answer any questions for us and explained everything throughly. We were first time home buyers so the process was overwhelming but she simplified it for us and helped talk through ideas with us. I never once felt pressured by her and she gave us valuable insight to make a decision that would be best for our family and future investment. She jumped through hoops and was with us every step of the way as we ping ponged ideas and helped us focus and give us ideas on what to do with certain houses to make it “our own” while staying within our budget. In the end we picked a house that needed a lot of work but would be our own and our forever home for our growing family. She helped us navigate the negotiations as it became competitive and even had a lot of industry relationships to get us an attorney and a mortgage broker who would approve the house as is. We trusted her so much that she also introduced us to other service providers that we needed before moving in and they too also are 5 star rated! We can’t thank her enough for making our dreams come true and now consider her a friend as well!

Fantastic experience: Closed yesterday on sale of a Trust owned condominium for which Sherry was the Seller’s (Listing) Agent, after just 1 month on the market. My siblings and I do not live nearby, Sherry took care of everything, including many things which Sellers would usually do. Staging, photos, cleaning, repairs, touch up painting, junk removal, village inspections and permits, negotiating Listing and Sale prices, everything, Sherry quickly and expertly arranged all of it. She scheduled well attended Open Houses, she attended every showing with prospective Buyers and Agents. As I said to her yesterday at the closing “you completely shattered my personal record of 3-4 previous horrific experiences selling real estate”. Absolute 5 star care and service, I wouldn’t even think about anyone else. Thank you Sherry.

Fantastic experience: Sherry made the difficult job of seeking our house easier. She was always positive and was full of good ideas on marketing.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Sherry was an excellent one from the very beginning to the very end. Her advice was invaluable and her work ethic was extraordinary. She even supplied her own, spreads, towels, and other linens to help in the staging of the house. She was kind and professional at all times. I give her my highest recommendation.

Negative experience: I called this lady Cherry she didn't even let me speak the only thing that she said you you going to sell or buy bad customer service

Fantastic experience: My wife and I listed our Nyack NY home with Sherry Wiggs of Houlihan Lawrence based on an internet search. We were apprehensive at first, but Sherry quickly made us feel comfortable and I am pleased to report that she and her staff brought a superb level of professionalism to the entire process.. We were particularly pleased with her knowledgeable guidance and support during the staging, presentation and marketing of phases. Inflation was at its peak at the time and buyers were skittish, but Sherry’s staff managed to attract seller realtors and their clients to frequent house openings until the offers started coming in. We were impressed that Sherry presented each offer without pressure. When we finally accepted an offer we felt the decision was entirely ours. It was indeed a great pleasure to work with Sherry and we are pleased to recommend her services highly to other home owners.

Fantastic experience: We had an outstanding experience with Sherry as our realtor. From the moment we chose her to list our house, she stood out in every way. Unlike other realtors who didn’t pick up calls from my out-of-town caller ID, Sherry was always available. She always picks up the phone. Her responsiveness is a huge asset. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and resourceful. Not only did she handle the listing with expertise, but she also provided valuable recommendations and referrals for other professionals we needed.
