Campus Plaza Apartments

Fantastic experience: Great housing. Very cheap, wonderful and responsive management, helpful office staff, close to campus. Special shoutout to Sam in the office. If his boss is reading this, give him a raise for being the best person ever!

Negative experience: Not sure if I'm just unlucky but I think I got the worst apartment in history. Bathroom keeps flooding, leaky faucets, dishwasher doesn't work (very smelly), bedroom infested with bugs how/why does it cost $10 to do laundry. These people are scammers do not come here unless you want a miserable experience while at school. I spend as little time here as I can and have to use public restrooms on campus to shower and use the bathroom cause the owners don't do anything about it.

Negative experience: This complex has a fun, social vibe and great potential — but there’s a major issue that can’t be ignored. Nearly every room has a strong, rancid smell that never seems to go away. It’s not a one-off; it’s consistent throughout the property. Management really needs to invest in a professional, bulk deep-cleaning solution to get this under control. If cleanliness and air quality matter to you, this is something you should seriously consider before moving in.

Negative experience: (I posted photos, but you might only see them by clicking on my profile) I lived at three different apartments in Campus Plaza (CP), so I was able to get a feel for the general condition and living experience at the place. Overall, while the location is great and the community is the most friendly I’ve been in for off-campus housing, the apartments are slums and the owners do nothing to upkeep the place, constantly breaching contract. Pros: -Location: You’re as close to campus as you can get, and if you’re in the engineering department, you’ll be about a 5 minute walk from any of your buildings. There’s no need to get a campus parking permit, just the one to park at CP (not very expensive, but they rarely enforce parking there, so it’s often full with people who don’t live there). -Community: By far the most fun community I’ve seen at an OCH location. Each floor is a ward, and people are very friendly. For the most part it’s a much more down-to-earth crowd, without too many of the wannabe partiers (it’s BYU so let’s be honest). People are very friendly, and I made a lot of good friends at CP. -Dennis: I have to point out the one ray of light in CP’s management, which is Dennis. He’s the maintenance guy, and he is always extremely friendly and does what he can to help fix anything (heat stops, sinks clog, etc.). Cons: -Condition: the apartments were built forever ago and the last time they likely saw a renovation was 50 years ago. (damaged wood panel and cinder block walls, for which you have to sign a notice of there being lead paint, and appliances that are on their last leg.) If you decide to move in, be extremely thorough in documenting (writing and pictures) all of the damages and dirtiness that you see. They will try and get you to clean years-old dirt at the end of the semester. We were told that mopping wasn’t good enough, but that it was expected that we get down with a sponge to thoroughly clean the floor. This same floor was missing a chunk of linoleum, and had clearly been dirty for years (picture included). -Management: After a year of arguing with CP management and BYU OCH (which is often equally unhelpful, more later), they finally said they would repair the floor at the end of the year (which was after I moved). They did, but the job was terrible. The tenants who lived there after me showed that water was somehow getting under the floor and growing mold, so in-between each tile there was this green/black mold building up. CP said they would get around to repairing it, but it was still in that condition months later… Another example: one of the girls apartments had leaks in the ceiling; in the furnace room, next to light fixtures in the living room and kitchen, and right over one of their beds. After they tried to work with CP management, I helped draft a letter to OCH. (pictures from email included here). OCH never responded to the email. CP told the girls there was nothing they could do but supply them with 5-gallon buckets (around 10 leaks, some of them filling a bucket twice a day), and install a trough over the girls bed to route water to the end, where a bucket would be. This response to repairs is typical of management (specifically Brennan, the owner). Compensation: ½ months rent returned (for 3 months of leaking). The apartments have been paid off decades ago, and are a cash cow now (at ~$1,300/month/apartment * 72 apartments * 6 months, they are making over half a million dollars in half a year. Not including spring/summer revenue or their other locations (also slums). Almost none of that money makes it back into the apartments. When we had a fridge break, we were supplied with a replacement 4’ mini fridge (which I looked up, and costs $130, a third of my monthly rent). While the community is great, I have to give the apartments themselves 1 star. You have to upkeep the contract, but they break it all the time. Approved housing has created a monopoly with no incentive for upgrading, so you pay too much for bad housing, and far too much for a decent place.

Fantastic experience: Great location, great environment.

Negative experience: Very cheap, very social apartment complex. Very old and poorly maintained though, and they crowd you in like cattle with six people sharing two small rooms and a small living room and kitchen place. Most apartments smell and have decades of wear, stain, and grime

Positive experience: Our dishwasher flooded the kitchen floor like 5 times one semester (even though we never used it) but what can you do

Positive experience: While it becomes quickly evident that the apartments were built in the 70s, the atmosphere is positive, the maintenance crew is fairly responsive, and the people who gravitate to the complex are fabulous. A lovely community. Just couldn't give it 5 stars due to the age, packing the rooms with 3 to a room, and sometimes quick-fix maintenance solutions that didn't last long and were difficult to communicate with in English. Would generally recommend.

Fantastic experience: They are transparent, attentive, and renovating. The staff are great and happy to help. With that being said, it is ancient and still has lead paint. They are clear about it, and the price, proximity to BYU, and the great people there make it an amazing experience

Positive experience: Campus Plaza is very social and fun! Closest you can get to campus! I walked from home to the MARB in less than 5 minutes! The rent is pretty cheap and the maintenance and office employees are very friendly. Laundry and mail are in the main building. The kitchen is small though and shared with 6 people, so not the best if you love taking up a lot of space cooking. 2 refrigerators, 3 people to a room with bunk beds. Plenty of storage space for your things. The biggest downside is 6 people sharing one bathroom, but if you don’t care about sharing a bathroom, then you’ll have a great time! I have loved living there and the wards are always very open and loving! I’m always getting invited to do activities or go to game nights! 100% recommend!

Negative experience: The pyramids of Giza are modern in comparison to this place. The absolute bare minimum for a living space, but hey at least it’s close to campus so you never get to feel like you leave school campus and unwind in a nice place after a long day. laundry machine stole my money and took forever to accept payment too

Negative experience: Nothing is straightforward. Moving out is a pain and getting maintenance done in the apartment can take anywhere between an hour to a week before someone responds. Black mold infests the apartments and the manager just says “it’s safe” or paints over it.

Fantastic experience: Campus Plaza is a wonderful set of apartments. They're definitely not modern, but they're built tough. For being older, they are surprisingly pest free! I maybe saw a couple ants once and that was it. There is great social space, sufficient parking, it's cheap, and it's close to campus! All of that though, is entirely second to the people who live here. They are some of the kindest, friendliest, most social, and most spiritual people I have ever known. My only complaint is that there isn't enough married housing so that I could still live there

Positive experience: I've tried to make inquiries about open apartments. But I leave messages but they never return my phone calls. And they say the email address faster than I can write it down. This looks like a good apartment complex close to BYU campus and has a grocery store close by however parking in the parking lot is very tight in some parts of the parking lot. For those with larger vehicles. But you've got plenty of dining options close by the apartment complex and a auto repair shop right across the street. From the photos I saw it looked to have a good size swimming pool. I couldn't tell for sure but it looked like the parking lot was permit enforced via a tow truck company.

Fantastic experience: Went there as a young adult and just went by again to show my soon-to-be-college-age-son this apartment complex. I loved strolling through memory lane and meeting young adults still loving it there.

Fantastic experience: I lived in Campus Plaza owned property for six years and let me tell you, old does not equal bad. This place will forever hold a part of my heart. So many great memories and friends were made here during my years here. The management is amazing. They are always quite prompt with my maintenance requests. Brendan is a great guy. Very fair and level headed. If you can't handle him, there's probably a problem with you and not him. Park Properties is soooo much better than Redstone and Aspen Ridge from what I've gathered. Let's go CP!

Fantastic experience: Living at Campus Plaza is a great experience! The apartments are a bit on the older side, but well-maintained. Few other apartments are less expensive, and the location is unmatched. 11/10 would recommend

Negative experience: Update 8/8: They KNOW the mold exists and is bad. But twice a year, ownership will send in the on-site student staff to PAINT OVER the mold. They straight up knock on the door, ask if they can do some touch up, but it's just to mask the mold. Also, it took 2 and a half weeks for them to fix a clogged shower. 3 weeks to fix a sink. ******** The worst service. So old. Allows mold to exist and grow. They don’t care to maintain shower clogs. They just collect checks from students and do the least amount of management

Positive experience: Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I was not here very long but as far as I could tell the staff were friendly. They offer a basketball/volleyball court, grill, and swimming pool. They also had a game room. The pool was not very well kept when I was there. The apartments were inexpensive. I would recommend not getting an apartment with 3 people in a room... that seems too many people for me. It is very close to campus. I met some friendly people living here.

Negative experience: DONT LET THEM SCAM YOU, I was planning on moving to this ugly and broke complex 2 summers ago, I only signed for the rules of the complex NOT A LEASE . I never signed a lease agreement bc I never moved there, at the end of that summer they called me saying that I never paid rent when I never lived there, pay for a deposit or get a room with them. They told me that I had to pay all summer that I was “living there” when it was all a lie. They like to scam people, I NEVER received an email saying that I had to pay rent (when I wasn’t even living there), I never received an email about paying a deposit or even to say to go and get my keys to move to that horrible place. The staff is super mean and unhelpful, they didn’t have a single form saying that I signed for a lease, I o Ku signed for the rules of the complex like not drinking, etc

Fantastic experience: Considerate management. Great location. Decent price. Parking spots available if you buy a parking pass. Nice tenants (neighbors). 8 month contracts avaliable. Fairly easy to sell. My second favorite place I've lived in Provo.

Positive experience: I love the location of Campus Plaza, and the community feel of it. It's kinda cool that you can be so close for a cheaper price. That being said, the apartments themselves aren't really the best. It always feels a bit dark and dirty. We had mold growing not only in the bathroom, but also in our bedroom. We submitted work orders, and they sprayed and cleaned it, but it just comes back... so really gross and probably not healthy. But when in college, ya know? Also, our bathroom fan and heater sounds like it is having an asthma attack... which once again, they've tried to fix, but the fixes don't last long.

Negative experience: Campus plaza is incredibly close to campus which is nice, but even with how cheap it is you're still paying too much for what you get. My apartment has a lot of mold (most likely black mold) and there are no amenities the students can really use. There is a pool but you can only really use it in the summer. The lounge is always locked unless you have a ward activity in there. The apartments themselves are small, with 6 people sharing one bathroom, and everything is falling apart. The maintenance crew takes forever to fix ANYTHING.

Fantastic experience: Cheap, convenient (I live on campus practically), and relatively high-quality housing. Much better than any Redstone-managed complex will ever be.

Positive experience: ok so the apartments are old... like my grandma legitimately lived here. But I lived here for 3 years and LOVED it. You can't get any closer to campus, like wake up 20 minutes before class close. Everyone who lives there is kind, down to earth, and chill, because their daddies aren't paying for their rent ;). There is always something social going on but it's rarely clique-y. I love to socialize but I'm not very outgoing or good at initiating social gatherings, so living here was perfect for me because there was always something that I could just join in and make friends at. If you're the type of person who likes to ignore the existence of your roomates and do your own thing, this is not the place for you. 6 to a 2 bed 1 bath apartment means you get up close and personal and for me, not knowing anyone when I moved to Provo I got 5 automatic friends and it was perfect for me. I only give it 4 stars because they are old apartments and things often need fixed, but the maintenance people are very prompt and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Campus Plaza's strongest defining attribute is its excellent design. The building is architecturally calculated to maximize social activity. You can't step outside your door without running into friends or getting pulled into a volleyball game. Inside the apartment, you'll be sharing most everything with 5 other tenants. On the surface, this sounds painful, but in reality, over the nearly two years I lived in CP, sharing a bathroom and a kitchen was never a problem. In fact, sharing close quarters with others gives CP apartments a very home-like feel, which I loved. You may hear some complain about the sorts of people who live in Campus Plaza. My experience, as an active member of the community, led me to believe the exact opposite. Because of the low rent and closeness to campus, the people who come to CP are among the most genuine, kind, quirky, and friendly people you'll ever encounter in Provo. There are no cliques or divisions, which are often a root contributor to bad apartment vibes. Whether you're introverted or a social butterfly, you can find common ground with anyone in CP. In the time I lived here, I never experienced the sort of frustration with management that a few other reviewers have harped on. Office hours were somewhat sparse, but maintenance was prompt, and cleaning checks were no more intimidating than a childhood "clean your room, Grandma's coming over". Having lived in and visited plenty of other apartments in Provo, none has ever felt so immediately welcoming and cool as Campus Plaza. I'd recommend it to anyone with a pulse.

Fantastic experience: Management is extremely pleasant. Look ghetto at first glance, is ghetto at second glance, but honestly, I've never felt cramped or claustrophobic in a 6-girl apartment. The people are the nicest ever and I've never wanted to move anywhere else. A solid mix of convenient and cheap and fun.

Fantastic experience: Brendan and his crew don't serve you tea and crumpets for breakfast, but they are pretty awesome. While CP isn't perfect especially if you are spoiled, the price/location/quality is UNBEATABLE. The past two years I have never had the impression that they were trying to make their fortune off of us. There is a reason why the turnover is so low compared to other single housing!

Fantastic experience: I've been living here just since the start of this school year but I'm already loving it. It's a little ghetto, but definitely not that bad, and considering how cheap the rent is you definitely can't complain about it. The location is perfect if you're a BYU student, especially if you have a lot of classes on the south side of campus. Parking is great, with plenty of overflow and they aren't stingy at all about checking for your parking permit. Socially this place is awesome, most of the people are super friendly and easy to talk to. All in all I have no major complaints, definitely planning on staying here for a while. EDIT: after having left campus plaza for a while now, I do have one significant complaint which is that it is not always an easy place to get studying/homework done if you're a busy student. The place is pretty social as I mentioned before, but that has its drawbacks if you need to cram for an organic chemistry test the night before taking it while people are outside blasting Taylor Swift music and generally talking loudly, playing games etc. (this actually happened to me) I don't think it would be as hard to get some peace and quiet at other apartment complexes. I will still give it 5-stars, but know that it's a conditional 5-star rating.

Fantastic experience: I lived at the Grange, which is owned by Campus Plaza. This is probably my favorite place I've lived at BYU so far. The management is very nice, reasonable, and accommodating. Yes, the grange is a little old and run down and doesn't look that nice from the outside, but if those are not big factors for you, it's great. It's very close to campus and a very reasonable price and there is always parking available. Those are the things that I find important, so it's perfect for me. Utilities were about $30 a month. No other additional costs.

Positive experience: For the price and location its a good deal. They aren't the nicest apartments and you will feel crowded, but its literally right next to BYU and under $300/month so that's a steal. Most people that live there are very chill and not high maintenance. If you're in to super clean and cute apartments with lots of space, maybe look somewhere else. If you want convenience and low price, this is definitely a great place to start

Fantastic experience: Lived in one houses and loved it. Super cheap, super close to campus. Maintenance was amazing, Dennis will literally fix anything. The office staff were really nice and helpful. This is a great place to live if you are looking for cheap housing. They only do cleaning checks at the end of each semester which is great!

Negative experience: I lived in Campus Plaza properties for a year and a half, and that was a fine experience. Since moving out however, their incompetence screwed me out of getting a good apartment. I applied for an apartment and listed them in my rental history. The management for the apartment I was trying to get could never get in touch with them because they have terrible office hours and don't bother checking their messages. I called the office to let them know that I needed them to respond to a confirmation of rental history, and the receptionist/clerk flat out told me "we don't really check our voicemail". He didn't offer to help or check it when I said that there was a voicemail that I needed him to check. Their laziness and incompetence cost me the chance to have a nice apartment after being married. Again, almost no complaints with the apartments, but their office staff is awful.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best apartments I have lived in except for old heritage which BYU tore down. They do have 6 people to one apartment with 3 to a room and only one bathroom. That is a negative. The architecture set up of the apartments makes campus plaza one of the most social apartments out there. To be perfectly frank, if you don't mind church at 1:30pm, 6 people to one apartment with 1 bathroom, and the management being extremely slow (they are very nice management! the nicest I have had) then come stay here at campus plaza because it is phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: Campus plaza is a hidden gem of Provo (especially for married housing). They have some of the most affordable apartments, and they are super close to campus. Manangement is exceptional. You don’t even feel like you’re living in Provo student housing — it’s that good. Brendan at the office is very responsive and has addressed all of our concerns. We’ve never had to wait longer than a day for Dennis to show up and repair something (also, he’s one of the kindest people you will meet). From living several other places in Provo (as a single student and a married student), I can say campus plaza is overall the best. Sure, you’re not getting luxury housing, but you’re getting a good location, people you can trust, and great management. The only major downside is a lack of parking (but welcome to south of campus anywhere).

Fantastic experience: Reasonably priced housing and the management is great. Brendan is fair and easy to work with and Dennis always gets to your place quickly to fix something urgent. I lived in one of the houses they owned and it was an overall great experience!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best value for housing in Provo! Campus Plaza is closer to campus than most on-campus housing and has plenty of parking (as I understand, it’s one permit per available stall) that is better positioned than what students are getting with a BYU parking permit. The apartments aren’t the newest, but they are solidly built (no squeaky floors or hearing your neighbors) and well kept up. This is due in large part to how responsive they are to maintenance requests: we’ve always had someone come quickly—often the same day—to fix whatever was broken (Dennis is the friendliest, most helpful and proactive maintenance man I’ve ever met). That highlights what is probably my favorite part of living here: the management. They are far and away the best I’ve had in Provo. They’re not one of the giant property management companies that own most of the student housing, and they care a lot about making sure that you have a good experience. They’re super responsive and very helpful. They’re also very fair when it comes to rent and utilities: Campus Plaza is one of the few places that still charges a reasonable rent and doesn’t rob you with exorbitant utility fees (I generally pay $8-10/month). The wards here generally attract a younger crowd, but there are enough upperclassmen that you won’t stick out if you are a bit older. It does mean that people have a lot of energy and are willing to make new friends and try new things. As with many complexes, it’s as social as you want to make it. Overall, my feelings are that great location/parking + reasonable rates + good condition + stellar management = best deal in town.

Positive experience: Awesome place in that it is close to campus, social, really inexpensive. The only complaint is 3 to a room is tight. They charge 310 for 2 to a room and 275 for 3 to a room. So they are making about $200 more at little additional cost to them. We are college students, so it would be a bit more fair to charge an equitable rent. Every complex does it but I'm not sure its completely right

Fantastic experience: I'm living here now and I love it. I just signed up for another year. The staff is friendly. The social scene is super open and social. The only drawback is that the apartments are small and a little ghetto, 6 residents and one bathroom.

Fantastic experience: I lived in a campus plaza house for two fall/winter semesters. It was an amazing location, being so close to campus. What really sold it though was the management. Campus plaza has the best management by far. They care about their tenants as evidenced by the fact that they learn the names of the people living there and every spring they do a little barbecue for their tenants for finals week. They also have a good laundromat that takes credit cards and they have an entertainment room you can reserve. The apartments themselves are a bit crowded with 4/6 people in 2 bedrooms but there are 2 refrigerators, the sink is outside the bathroom and it seems to usually work out.

Fantastic experience: I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to show their appreciation. The apartments are cheap, but they've been well maintained, and I'm a huge fan of cheap.

The apartments are old, but management quickly and willingly fixes anything that is broken and are very friendly. Feels like you're at home :)

Positive experience: I liked that it was close to campus, it had a social environment, it was reasonably priced, the management was good and the people/wards were awesome (I lived there for about six months and was in two of the three wards). However, it could be really loud at times, is fairly old (cerca 1960s) and I would recommend getting a four person apartment; the six person has three people to a room which is pretty cramped, even if you love your roommates. ☺

Fantastic experience: Well maintained, very responsive management, cheap, social, and free wifi. Pool, basketball court, coin-operated laundry, foosball table, and a rec room with a projector downstairs. Wonky but sufficient parking. Closest housing to campus.

Negative experience: The ward is fantastic, and the location is perfect. Other than that, though, I don't have a ton of good things to say about Campus Plaza. Biggest beef: HUGE lack of professionalism from their management. Late to cleaning checks (we're talking 2 hours, not like 30 minutes or something...) with no pretense of even trying to be on time. Failed because of nitpicky things that we would have fixed if we had been in the apartment (which we were at the time they scheduled...and for an hour after that). 6 people with one bathroom is also hard. It's cheap, though, so that's nice!

Negative experience: I rented a house owned by Campus Plaza, Honestly, the place was super ghetto, and it wasn't a very social atmosphere, and I'm a social person so this wasn't good for me.

Positive experience: decent apartments and close to campus, but it's three people to a room

Fantastic experience: This has been by far my favorite place to have lived. The management was great and the the people that live there have all been friendly and fun to be around. Plus the location couldn't be better!

Fantastic experience: Cheap, Good Management, Enough Parking, Close to Campus. Best BYU apartment complex I've lived in so far. It looks old, but inside it's fine, and it's well maintained. Two 3-person bedrooms with a bunk bed in each with only one toilet and shower may not be for everyone, though. Social environment especially in the summer. Down-to-earth people. Hard to get a contract in Fall/Winter so sign up early in January when they come out. Sp/Su contracts often don't fill up until the very last minute. All inclusive rent (except electricity) is ~$250/month F/W and ~$125 Sp/Su. Laundry facilities are almost never full. The walls aren't too thin. Unfortunately, the front desk is only open a few hours during the afternoon (M-F 1 to 5:30 pm, Sat 11am-1pm), but you pay rent online. The downstairs lobby is always locked but you can reserve it and get the door code. BYU, Slab Pizza, J-Dawgs, Craig's Cuts, and South End Market are all super close.

The apartments are not elegant, but they are certainly not trash. I would highly recommend it to anyone living in Provo who doesn't care about lots of space or privacy."

Positive experience: it is close to campus and that is amazing, I loved being able to walk straight to campus. However management is not great. they are lazy and uninterested in anything that happens with their tenants, I felt like it was a drag when ever I needed to come over to get help. but hey, I am sure this could be fixed once they hire new management. I dont want to diss any of the employees, I felt that they helped out ofte and were prety nice. it was just management

Fantastic experience: The location is hard to beat - CP is as close as you can get to campus, right next to JDawgs, Craig's Cuts, Slab Pizza, and a (kind of pricy) convenience store. The ward I stayed in (2nd floor) was very social and friendly, and from what I can tell the other floors' wards are similar. The apartments are pretty old, but maintenance is fast and pretty much never charges you for broken stuff. Management is inaccessible (office hours are 1-5:30 PM during the week) but they treat people fairly and the fees in the contract are really reasonable - much lower than the other places I have stayed. All in all, CP is a great place to stay if you want to be close to campus and you want to be able to trust management to be honest with you. The main downside is that it's 3 to a room (6 to a bathroom!) but there are two fridges in each apartment, which is nice.

Fantastic experience: I can't move out. I have friends asking me to move with them to other apartment complexes but I just don't want to leave! haha I've been at Campus Plaza for about a year now and it's been amazing. I'm on the first floor and the ward is great--most everyone treats their callings seriously and the bishopric is so down to earth. We have tons of fun activities going on too. The apartments are kind of old, if you couldn't tell by the pictures, but they're in good condition. Whenever we have a problem management is right on it though--our tub was clogged and I went to the office to complain about it and they sent a guy over within an hour. Some people shy away from the idea of having six people in two bedrooms, but it's really not that bad. If you keep it clean it's not that cramped, and there's plenty of space in the dining room/kitchen, not to mention two refrigerators. We have Google fiber now, and the only utility we have to pay for is the electric bill--everything else is included in rent. If we want the super fast Google fiber we have to pay for it though, but the standard's free of course. We also have a pool, basketball/volleyball court, grill, laundry facility, and a lounge that you can reserve with a ton of couches and a projector screen. Cleaning checks are very passable if you actually clean, and they're very ready to give you another chance before assigning fees. I also don't have a car, so I love being this close to campus, but all of my roommates have cars so I can get rides to Smith's and whatnot (the corner market store is across the street, but too expensive), and if all else fails I walk to the Creamery on 9th. My roommates have never had to park on the street, since Campus Plaza owns lots of parking lots. It's basically wonderful here.

Fantastic experience: CHiCKA AWESOME! Let me put it simply. I've lived other places in provo, and they have all been good. This place is excellent. I have signed up for my third consecutive year here, and am looking forward to more good times. Management is quality, the people here are fantastic and social, we are way close to campus, it is cheap, we have a grill with endless propane, a basketball court, a pool, two fridges...need I go on? To put it simply, this place is legit. I have met awesome people here and look forward to meeting more of the excellent people this place seems to attract. THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB.

Fantastic experience: I've been in Campus Plaza for almost 4 straight years. Take that how you want. I personally think that that is extremely positive. Although I can't accurately compare it to other places to live, I can say that everything I have ever needed in student housing I found here at Campus Plaza. It's super close to campus, it has excellent amenities, the management is super prompt and helpful, and everyone who lives here is down to earth and super friendly. The students who live here are the kind of students who don't take things for granted. 95% of the residents are students and work part time in order to make ends meet. That in and of itself speaks volumes as to their character. The grounds are very well maintained, the atmosphere is super social, and everything you need is close by (food, grocery store, campus, church, laundry, etc.) In the four years that I have been here, I have found that most people who move out of their apartment in Campus Plaza either get married, change floors in Campus Plaza, or move back after a semester or two. The apartments are older and you will have to sign a waiver about lead-based paint. Frankly, it never has become an issue while I've lived here. Most apartments have 6 people in 2 bedrooms with only one bathroom, but a few apartments on each floor are 4-person apartments. Utilities are only electricity, since gas and water are included in the rent. Parking is super convenient and available with 5 parking lots. The north parking lot is a little tricky to move around, but usually it's pretty clear. Don't park in the north parking lot though if you have a van or truck.
