Negative experience: Update: As new, naive home buyers, the home we purchased needed extensive renovation to be livable. Kenna didn't warn us and the inspector she recommended copy and pasted information into our report. It is our fault for our ignorance but it would have been nice to get some hints from our agent that the home was a money pit. 2/3 of the house was dangerous to live in and needed to be gutted from mold and water damage. The back 2 bedrooms were not permitted so they were not built to spec. The sewer pipes, water pipes and half of the roof needed to be replaced from leaks. There were holes in the sub floor from water damage that the tub or layers of flooring covered. The furnace was so old the HVAC guys recommended replacing it to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. The lighting electrical needed to be replaced because the low voltage relays were going out. Original post: It was like a surprise DIY extreme home make over for a couple in their 20s working FT. My wife and I worked with Kenna and she is awesome! She was watching out for us through the whole home buying process. Anytime we needed anything she was right there and ready to help. She is the best.

Negative experience: Complete train wreck of an experience. Either total incompetence or down right fraud representing a seller. The unprofessionalism of the experience was absolutely shocking and lost the seller a likely transaction.

With both selling and buying our homes Mike was right there celebrating closing on the sell of our old home and the close on the purchase of our new home. Fantastic experience: We decided to sell our home because our circumstances had changed and we needed more flexibility in our day to day finances. We were looking for a realtor who would be honest with us, would be dependable, and would work hard to sell our home. We knew we had an option to sell on our own or work with a realtor, but, if we hired a realtor, we expected them to help make the process seamless and to help us get our best offer in a crazy housing market. As I considered who we would work with, I remembered my friend Leslie. I had always felt like she was smart, honest and trustworthy. I felt confident that she would do a great job for us. I made an appointment with Leslie to talk over our options and she impressed me right away. She came to our initial appointment with market research and clear direction. Selling a home is always an emotional experience, but she supported us at every step of the way. Fantastic experience: We are very glad we chose to use a realtor. I found Mike Wagner nearly 2 years ago. We were looking for a home in Utah county and knew nothing about the area. We must have gone through 50 homes and we were very picky and changed our minds and preferences often. Mike stayed with us. Was always patient and quick to respond. She listened to everything I was looking for then was able to find a variety of homes to go check out. We found my condo on the second day of looking. Fantastic experience: Leslie, took the time to understand who we were so that she could highlight the features of our home that we had worked hard to maintain/create. She promptly answered questions. She did not push us into decisions. She was able to mediate between our opinions leaving both myself and my spouse feel like we had been listened to. Leslie Jones not only took the time to walk us through the whole process of buying and selling our home, she took the time to listen to our biggest concerns and our deepest fears. She reassured us that it will all work out. And it did. Yet, she was also very real with us and our expectations. It's not always easy to take, but sometimes you need someone in this process that will help keep you grounded and that will help you get what you ultimately want in the end in a home. This includes a network of other fantastic professionals from handyman to home inspectors, title, and lenders. In addition, they strive to find innovative ways to use technology to streamline the process which I highly value as a software engineer. Fantastic experience: I can not tell you how helpful Mike and team were in helping to find and buy a home. He was there every step of the way, answering all of our questions and advocating for us as a buyer. From getting us set up with an awesome broker to creating book of all of the properties that we were interested in. He was also able to get us an amazing price and a few extras thrown in! I never felt like I was doing this alone with Mike and team on our side!
