Negative experience: The landlords are wonderful (Scott and Melinda have been so helpful and responsive to maintenance questions and requests - hence the reason for two stars. One for each of them) but Charlie the receptionist is the epitome of all things opposite helpful and good. I’ve withheld posting this review for 9 months to give her the benefit of the doubt but I’ve had over 5 encounters with her and every one has been not only bad, but downright horrible. She is condescending and difficult to work with, and speaks over people when asking questions. I feel worse about myself after leaving even an innocent question on the phone. The thought is echoed among everyone I’ve talked to who is under Stone properties. The running joke is she has to be related to the property manager somehow, because how else would she be doing this job so poorly and not be fired? Hoping this can make it to whoever is over her to enlighten them on the situation. If some effort to reconcile the awful receptionist situation can be made, I’m happy to edit my review to 5 stars for their beautiful properties

What makes him unique is he specializes in one Real Estate market and he is the dominant player in this specialty market. AND he owns several properties in this market himself. I have 40 years of business experience and he has superior skills in 2 ways: FIRST he has total dominance in this market and SECONDLY, he is an owner of multi-properties in the same market! His knowledge and experience is impossible to beat ! !

Fantastic experience: I've stayed in several apartments while I've been attending BYU, and Old Mill has been the nicest place out of all of them. My apartment was very nice, but I was mostly impressed by Scott and how helpful and kind he was my entire stay. Every time I had a maintenance issue and made a request, Scott was on top of it. I don't think I ever had to wait more than two days (and maybe over a weekend once) for Scott to come over and address the issue. This has not been the case at any of the other apartments I've lived at. I had to make sure to leave a good review to show how much I appreciated his responsiveness!

Negative experience: Scott ignored a request of mine to adhere to a clause in our contract. Also you can't pay rent electronically and its 2020.

Negative experience: Awful management. I have lived in 6 different apartments while in Provo and these guys are by far the worst! When I moved out, they couldn't explain what the charges on my account were for. When I moved out, I had my entire family help me clean my apartment, yet I was still charged for cleaning. They did not do individual checkouts, therefore my roommates, who stayed in the townhouse days after I had left, dirtied what I had cleaned. When I tried to get my money back, they told me this was something I would need to take up with my old roommates, not with management. If you want to pay rent online (which was important for a car-less person, like myself), there was a massive fee. Washer never worked. They were disrespectful to my mother on the phone. Least helpful managers. Would NEVER recommend renting from them. SO glad I got out of there. What is sad is I am sure there would be plenty more one star reviews but people are scared to post because the management will comment back nasty things, telling previous renters off.

Negative experience: I just moved out and I was not happy at all with my experience with this management. I paid around $1,100 for the security deposit and first and last months rent. I was told I would be getting around $500 back when I moved out. My apartment was spotless when I moved out. I ended up only getting $100 back in the end and they had excuses for every unnecessary charge. Every positive review they have is only because they give prizes for writing 5 star reviews. Would not recommend to anyone to rent from them.

Negative experience: Morningside? more like Morninglies. Cougar rentals and keystone made residing here a living hell. very dismissive of any problems and a lot of unnecessary charges for things that were not my responsibility.

Negative experience: Keystone Properties suck. I took perfect care of my apartment and cleaned everything well after I had moved out. And they tried to take my ENTIRE deposit for completely BS charges. I sent them multiple emails questioning them as to why I was being charged with these random things, and they did almost nothing. I lost over $300 of my deposit with no real explanation as to why.

Positive experience: Stone Properties was okay. They were quick to respond if you had a problem but then you get charged for it even if its not your fault. Don't expect to get your deposit back.

Fantastic experience: 9 years ago I bought a condo unit and used Keystone Real Estate. Now just last month I sold the unit. Both times working with Scott and his team were top-notch! I have been blown away by the professionalism, timeliness, and expertise. I definitely recommend working with Scott if you are looking to buy or sell a condo or townhome!

Positive experience: They are friendly and fair people, but they could update their system for rent so you could pay electronically.

Fantastic experience: Love cougar rentals! They helped fix my mailbox in a timely manner and got rid this car that was parking in my spot! Kayla was also very nice and helpful with all my questions! One of the better rental services of Provo.

Positive experience: Keystone is a really great company. I have rented from them for almost two years and have thoroughly enjoyed living in their apartments. They are always courteous when I go into their office (they know me by name) and are really quick to come and fix maintenance needs.

Positive experience: Stone Properties have been very easy and flexible to work with over the last school year. I really appreciate that they don't require frequent monthly cleaning checks, which can get a little bit crazy to fit into the schedule of a full-time college student with a part-time job. My only complaint is that rent is required to be paid by check and dropped off at the office, which can often be inconvenient for scheduling, as mentioned earlier. It would be wonderful to have the alternative to pay rent online.

Management is kind and professional, my apartment is in great condition and all maintenance concerns are seen to very quickly. Of all the landlords I have had here in Provo, Keystone is by far the best.

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed my time with Keystone Real Estate. I lived with them last year and then signed with them again this year because they were such great landlords. Whenever I have submitted a maintenance request they often come that very day! They are not trying to get money out of you, cleaning checks are very fair. When I moved apartments but stayed with them they were able to carry my deposit over which was really convenient. They have always been incredibly helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend them! :)

Positive experience: Nice place! I love having multiple bathrooms and a washer and drier in the apartment. Comfortable place with enough room. Good location if you are attending BYU. The outside is cute too.

Positive experience: My door literally opens up to a jungle and indoor heated pool. That is the coolest thing eva. Maintenance is also pretty fast.

Fantastic experience: I've lived in many apartments throughout Provo and Mountainwood condos has been the best so far. There's lots of space and with a private room you even get your own bathroom. The management has been great, I haven't had any problems with them. When we reported that our washing machine was having problems they got a repairman to come fix it the next day. Every interaction I've had with the management has been positive- just very nice and helpful.

Negative experience: Horrible rental company. Rude receptionist. Charged additional for damage not done by us. Of course we had no proof so we ended up paying to avoid any dings on our credit.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE!!! They are liars, cheaters, and frauds. We had to pay $1,000 extra dollars in scamming fees they were not up front about. This is literally the worst experience I ever had!! Scott Stone is the scum of the earth!!! Don't ever ever use them!!!!
