Negative experience: While this may not reflect Evans & Evans as a whole (but maybe so), my experience with Karen Stigall was one of the most frustrating and disheartening real estate interactions I’ve ever had. As a single-income parent trying to find a home for our large (and growing) family, we submitted a strong, nearly full asking-price offer on a property we genuinely loved. What we received was a counter filled with nonsense—most notably a bump clause that left our offer essentially meaningless. We pushed back once with a reasonable counter: same offer, just without the ridiculous clause. Rather than negotiate, Karen and the seller abruptly shut the door on us altogether—no second chances, no conversation. Just gone. That level of pettiness and ego, especially in an already emotionally and financially difficult process, is unacceptable. Karen also casually misrepresented the area in her marketing, referring to it as "Glove City" in a promotional video—a careless, off-key label that says plenty about how seriously she takes her work. This tracks with glazing over key details in the offer. If you’re a sincere buyer expecting professionalism, fairness, or even a basic willingness to work with you in good faith, avoid this agent. She made it abundantly clear that control and games mattered more than people.

Negative experience: I sold 2 homes in Florida to buy a home in Bristol Tennessee. My realtor met with me 3-4 times over a period of of 2-3 months to ultimately buy my home for cash in Bristol. He was not available for my final walk through,which was a disaster,and did not come to my closing. I never even received a thank you for your business card or phone call. I am extremely disappointed in the service of my realtor from this company and feel I put a LOT of money in his pocket for little service. I would not recommend him or this company.

Jeanna LaBossiere was our realtor from March of 2021 when my husband and I first started house hunting all the way until we closed on our house February 4th 2022. It was a really hard year for buyers and Jeanna was everything we could have hoped for in a realtor and then some. She is savy when it comes to any advice we asked for; from our offer amount, stipulations in our contract, and she took the time to explain what our options were in a way that we could understand. She is very attentive to your needs and really took the time to get to know us throughout this process to help us find the perfect place to call home. Fantastic experience: Stan Evans is experienced, conscientious and understanding. He has selling and building experience for decades in this area. Before putting my 27 year old house on the market, he painstakingly worked with me for weeks developing a remodeling plan that maximized the value of the house. He traveled to Lowes, Granite company and other suppliers. He recommended subcontractors who got the job done. During negotiations he would meet with me any time (including Christmas Eve). As a result our house sold for far more than appraisals and expectations. One of a kind!

Fantastic experience: Jennifer Lusk was great. 'Gave us the truth, and guided us through the purchase...great place. She hooked us up with a good mortgage broker as well. I don't understand the complainers... who offer no specifics. Months later, we're still in touch, getting advice on repairmen for odd jobs and businesses nearby. Ken W.

Fantastic experience: The true measure of customer service is how you are treated AFTER the business has your money. I worked with Terri Henson for my land purchase and she was both professional, accurate and responsive throughout the process. What impressed me more is months after I bought the property I had a question about my tax plot, and she answered my call at 6pm on a Thursday, not hesitating to help out. She ensured all my questions were satisfied before hanging up and followed up with emails. I would highly recommend her as an agent to anybody in the market.
