Negative experience: Bellevue Heights Apartments - Antagonize for rent money (letters every week if not paid in full by the 5th) Charge a .01 fee for pets even if you have a EPS document Says “heats included” BUT Heat is never ON when cold months are coming and leaving(fall and spring) .EVEN WHEN HEAT IS “ON” you’ll still get cold nights Maintenance crew are trash and liars;( ie. Downstairs neighbors moved out because HE found mold and told can’t be compensated but can buy out of lease and I asked multiple times about getting my apartment checked. 1st time no answer second time the maintenance lead told me mold was only on foundation and should not effect my apartment) meanwhile my bedroom is directly above this picture so I’m directly breathing in the BS they’re doing every morning! Poor response time from property management! Appliances aren’t up to date or stainless “Going under remodel” only the outside of the buildings Secondary Driveway always leaks throughout the year (now its being maintenanced and can barely park there) Rent bill goes up $100 every year Ac unit is in a wall next to front door and points only towards patio door - no circulation in the apartment All doors and cabinets are old and barely close or is off the tracks These people are petty and don’t care about your needs for living ,all they care about is your MONEY that’s it that’s all! I’ll pay my rent and still get letters of notify to pay bill. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRASH!

Negative experience: Barbara, is a horrible property manager, she's on VIDEO threatening, harassing, and accusing, people. Very Unprofessional and Disrespectful, She should NOT be one of the faces in front of this agency!! She's absolutely horrible!

Negative experience: Rip-off and glad to be out of their building. Our building (not just the unit) is infested to the point I didn't cook for nearly 3 years and needed to be out for 1-2 days every few weeks for pest control to spray etc. I find a dead mouse stuck to a glue trap that was placed inside my oven. We had an out-of-service washer and dryer for weeks. Unreasonable charges upon leaving apartment, including normal wear-and-tear. Only stayed because I knew it was only for 3 years and didn't want to move in consecutive years. Recommend avoiding if possible.

Positive experience: I rented an apartment on Lillian Avenue. It was very nice. They were very prompt on coming to fix things that were broken. Monica is a pleasure to talk with which is the secretary. I had a couple other property managers, which are also very nice.! The only reason why I moved is because I wanted to be out of the city.

Negative experience: Bad hospitality and service. Rude behavior. They get into your daily lives.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT! Horrible! Roaches coming from everywhere even if you keep your place is clean. Literally refused to fix my a/c for weeks. My cat and I had to live in 90+ degrees for over two weeks. The maintenance guy came in and word for word said "I wanted to fix it the first time, but they told me not to. Now I'm here on my day off to do something I already wanted done". Then they proceeded to steal my security deposit by saying I didn't give notice. My VA worker personally brought that notice and they lied saying they never got it! They need to be shut down

Negative experience: Brook Manor apartments need to be more secure -locks on outer doors have been promised for over a year. Laundry, although advertised, is virtually unusable and poorly managed. Buildings should be ADA compliant and aren't and the outdoor stairs need redoing

Negative experience: For privacy reasons I will not use my real name but do not rent from this company. All their apartments are nasty and gross too. Overrun with roaches and mice. And when they have someone come spray they will spend less then 30 secs in your apartment. Their worst location is the 127 South Ave. people would break in and squat for months. Water leaked into apartments and nothing was ever done for months. They just don’t care. Plus if they control the heat they will turn it up thus making a feeding and breeding ground for bugs. I myself spent over 5 grand on roach spray and traps. But still got evicted. Plus the rooms are not worth the money. It is a 180sqft apartment unit. Way less than advertised. Do your self, your health , and your wallet a favor do not rent from these people. Take your business else where they are sure to become the next big problem in Syracuse. People think green enterprises was bad which they were but tempo is tracking to be even worse. Photos contain water damage and roaches and dead mice that were left in the hallways

Fantastic experience: I have had great experiences since moving into a Tempo property in March 2024! My property manager Alisha is responsive to me if I have a problem. I am very happy that I chose to rent with them.

Negative experience: They just take your money for an application fee then never, ever get back to you. I filled out an app in June and have left soo many messages and never heard from anyone. At all. I wouldn’t waste your money or time.

Negative experience: Paid rent on time always the way they handle you before and after just wasn’t comfortable with especially after being a model tenant there’ whole staff sucks and only wants money

Negative experience: Terrible staff except Monica. She’s extremely friendly. Alisha is unprofessional and rude, always has an attitude. DO NOT rent at the 320 N. Midler Property, big roach problem. Alisha doesn’t care if tenants don’t pick up after their dogs. Maintenance are good people and professional, very prompt when you submit a maintenance request. Again, DO NOT rent at the 320 N. Midler Ave property unless you want roaches as roommates.

Negative experience: They evicted me for making noise. They gave me one notice over the phone and then slapped an eviction notice days later entire time I was in the hospital. I cleaned out my apartment took a video and they accused me of leaving behind furniture. Took part of my deposit to remove furniture that wasn't there. Called to dispute it no one is available and no one was ever going to notify me . Rented for 5 months

Positive experience: Tammy at Tempo properties has been great to work with. As a property owner, I went through multiple Syracuse property management companies and headache after headache until finding Tempo (the last property manager stole the rent money and disappeared!). A friend referred me to Tempo almost 2 years ago and the I'm really glad they did. They've been upfront and really helpful. If you are looking for a solid property management company here in town, I'd call Tammy (owner) because she knows the in's and out's of effectively managing rental properties in Syracuse.
