Fantastic experience: An old tree, a history of broken water pipes and a summer of ill winds–those three things came together yesterday to show us what kind of community manager we have here in the Bedrock Community in Zephyrhills, Florida. In the seven years I’ve lived here, that old tree has more than once been the source of broken water pipes, with the nuisance of water disruption and digging for repairs. This summer of 2023, the old tree became more than just a nuisance. The tree became a threat to life and property when a fierce wind broke a limb off and shattered a window in the home adjacent to my own. Almost concurrently with the broken window came another broken ground pipe. Scarcely had those been fixed before there came ANOTHER windstorm. That storm tore a major portion of the crown out of this unsteady tree and sent it crashing to the ground. Only by grace was serious destruction to the adjacent home on the other side avoided. At that point, I realized the potential threat to life the old tree posed, perhaps even to my own life. I said to myself, “If the decision were mine, I’d order that old tree cut down. But I won’t hold my breath waiting to see that.” I never expected to see preventative steps taken. I was wrong. By order of Victoria Illig, our manager here at the Winters Community, the old tree was professionally cut down and removed yesterday. We love our trees for their shade and beauty, but this tree, distressed and past its prime and rotting slowly from the inside, was ready to go. Thank you, Victoria, for your foresight and your responsiveness. You saw the problem, and where the less conscientious might have pushed the problem down the road, you stepped up and did what had to be done. We thank you for making our little community that much safer.

Negative experience: Worst thing to ever happen to my park!

Negative experience: $75 late fees is shark business malpractice !

Negative experience: Cypress Harbor park in Winter Haven manager does not have the skillset to work with the elderly. The billing department is still a mess due to no backup person to collect the mail when the site manager is out therefore causing the billing system to add a $75 late fee and a letter to the resident to pay or leave within five days. Yes the $75 gets deleted when the site manger returns to work, collects the rent and post it to your account but does nothing regarding the demand of payment letter sent to the resident.

She helps us navigate the park on the VERY dark roads in the park. You couldn't get a better person for the job.

Fantastic experience: Ellen not only takes care of all residents in need but she can be tough when needed which is great for everyone. When we run out of water Ellen is there to help. If something is not working. Call on Ellen at any hour of the day and she will be there to help. I have been in this park for 30 years and had many managers. There have been none like Ellen Rocke

Fantastic experience: Ellen Rocke at Singing Forest is an EXCELLENT Manager. My mom is a snowbird and lives here in the Winter months. Ellen has always helped my mother, myself and other residents anytime she has been needed. Ellen cares about the people and the park and wears many hats when she needs too. She is not only professional but she is personable too and goes above and beyond for the park and the people.

Positive experience: Ellen Rocke is a great manager, who goes above and beyond for the residents @ Bedrock Singing Forest. She is prompt, professional and courteous. She also reaches out to those who have special needs. Would love to see the return of the large dumpster. This would alleviate the construction materials being dumped into the trash only bins by the office.

Fantastic experience: Ellen, our park manager in Singing Forest, in Floral City, is very active in our community and listens to our concerns and ideas. She is very hands on and visible and always available if needed.

Fantastic experience: I have lived in singing forest for over 15 years and have had multiple buyers and several managers so I speak from experience Ellen Rocke who is our resident manager is by far the best manager of all She is both professional and caring. She knows singing forest inside and out and is there for any tenant who needs her She is forever concerned with the welfare of the singing forest family. She is responsive to any problem with in the park and will go the extra mile to find out where the problem is and or what the issue is. She doesn't stop investigating until the issue situation or problem has been solved She is receptive to any and all concerns and or issues and conveys our messages to the proper authorities. She is available and on duty day or night. She is very aware any situations where the tenant needs an extra giving hand. Ellen is by far an excellent manager and Bedrock is lucky to have her. They should listen to the issues she brings to their attention. KUDOS ELLEN!!!

Fantastic experience: This park is just what we were looking for. Quiet, off the beaten path, safe & friendly But the hidden surprise was our Onsite Manager Ellen Rocke She is definitely a one of a kind. One of her many superpowers Is Knowing everything that is going on.... Whether she wants to know or not!!!! She makes people want to help each other!! She is in control without being the least bit bossy or controlling! She appreciates people & helps them without making them feel weak or helpless! The difference between a regular manager & Ours is Ellen truly care about ALL the people. Ellen makes the park fun, playful & relaxing!! We are ALL blessed to have her!

Fantastic experience: Since Bedrock communities has taken little manatee under their wing. I have seen a huge effort in improvement to make the community a wonderful place to live. They have remodeled the recreation center, main office building, removed undesirable homes. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: We live in Singing Forest and love it here! Our manager, Ellen Rocke, is awesome. Her family has lived in the park for years, and she has unmatched knowledge of all the ins and outs of every aspect of how things work. Ellen also knows each resident personally, and is aware of their health and other concerns. On her own time she checks on or makes sure our most fragile residents are ok. If they need help, she does her best to make sure it happens. We have a lovely park, full of singing birds, a pond with several varieties of ducks, turtles, even two small alligators that mind their own business. We even have a beautiful resident peacock! Peace and quiet abound here, the residents are nice and truly care for and watch out for one another.

Fantastic experience: ellen rocke, our manager here at singing forest stays on top of things. she cares about our park and the people who live in it. ellen makes herself available to all while performing her job professionally daily. while managing this park and a dealing with all the people she is able to be professional and a sounding board to all. after 8 years here, i believe this old park runs as smooth as it does because her and her efforts. this was not always the case at times in the past. ellen has surely earned all 5 stars and then some.

Negative experience: They just acquired two parks in Riviera Beach. They have come in like the gestapo, their records are all messed up and the keep blaming people who have lived here for years. The person in the office will not listen to reason even when you bring her concrete answers - she cannot comprehend anything other her little brain is programmed for. Any divergence addles her. Do not deal with the people if yo do not have to.

Negative experience: I know we are in a national crisis but there was no reason to shut down our pool. 1/2 of our community is returning to Canada and management knows that gatherings are very small then. The clubhouse was closed and all events cancelled. We moved down here to enjoy our retirement, not to be confined to our home. This is more of a power play from management than any concern for our health

Negative experience: Bad

Negative experience: No further communication after the first encounter

Negative experience: It always seems like right before a holiday, they cease to pick up trash on the scheduled days, and instead choose to make their tenants wait about a week and a half to get their trash picked up. This is the complete opposite of what should happen, as everyone accumulates more trash when family and friends are over for a holiday such as Christmas.

Positive experience: Found just what I wanted. Butterfinger ice cream Yummy

Negative experience: Wouldn't accept partial rent payment
