Keller Williams Chervenic Realty - Stow Office: Reviews
Reviews are the opinions of their authors. We do not verify that the author was a customer.
Negative experience: Didn't stop in, just passed by, road construction was underway.
Negative experience: On 1/20/26 Laurie Heidman showed us an apartment at 1382 9th Street Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44310. She was rude and unwelcoming to say the least. When me and my girlfriend pulled in the driveway she was unlocking the door for another family to look at the apartment. Out of respect for her and the family we stayed in our car and waited for them to be done as through communication with Laurie she never stated that it was an open showing. When they were done and came outside Laurie walked up to us she did not greet us or introduce herself. She asked if we were tenets or here for the showing. When I stated we were here for the showing she rudely stated in annoyance that we should have just walked in. Mind you when we pulled in she saw us and did not come to communicate anything to us as if we were just supposed to know. That first interaction was off putting and unwelcoming. Through the rest of the showing it was mostly fine and at times she was nice and even cracking jokes. Overall she showed and explained details of the apartment well. But at a moments notice her rude and unwelcoming nature would show again. Such as when I asked a question about utilities her neck moved forward with a disgusted look on her face in annoyance as if I had asked her the dumbest question she had ever heard and responding in the same annoyed tone. I stayed firm with her but didn’t allow her actions to affect the way I spoke with her. I kept things respectful and cordial throughout the showing. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt maybe she was having a bad day which I can understand. However in a profession where first impression, respect and communication is very important I’d say she failed on those fronts. We left feeling disrespected, unwelcome and completely off put. The apartment itself was fine but not the right one for us. Even if it was the perfect apartment we would not have pursued it as the interaction with Laurie was enough to turn us away completely. I would not recommend dealing with Laurie at all.
Fantastic experience: Keller Williams Chervenic Realty is one of the top 10 Keller Williams offices in the nation. Exceptionally experienced agents and 1+ billion in 2025 sales volume. Highly recommended when buying or selling residential or commercial real estate.
Fantastic experience: Thank you for coming out to our trunk or treat event! We really appreciate you coming and hope you had a great time!
Negative experience: I had a great experience with my real estate agent and appreciated her professionalism. However, I’m extremely disappointed with how her brokerage handled my personal information. My private phone number, which I only provided for communication with my agent, was apparently shared with a third-party marketing company that sends automated text messages trying to get me to buy or sell property. After asking them to stop, I immediately began receiving more spam calls within just a few minutes — clearly in retaliation. Since then, I’ve been getting multiple calls and texts every day, and every single one of the numbers traces back to Amazon Web Marketing. So I know it’s all connected to the same source. I did contact the brokerage to complain about this, and they did apologize — which I appreciate — but obviously nothing can be done at this point. The damage is already done, and my number continues to be used by these spam sources. While I understand my agent likely had no control over this, I’m writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the broker’s privacy practices. My phone number should have remained confidential. I normally use a separate Google Voice number for business interactions, and I strongly recommend others do the same to protect their privacy.
Fantastic experience: Awesome team!!
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend KW Chervenic. Lots of fantastic agents and an exceptional leadership team.
Negative experience: Bad company they won't give you your utility bills when ask bad customer service
Negative experience: Lacks integrity and common decency. Benefits neither the property owner nor the tenants. They are in a money hungry business for themselves. Renters and Home Owners Beware.
Negative experience: Anyone reading this ! Public Announcement! NEVER RENT WITH THIS COMPANY REALLY BAD MANAGEMENT. All the issues with this property is unmatched.
Negative experience: Rarely have I encountered such an ill run and incompetent company. They are apparently incapable of accurately adding charges to tenants' accounts leading to utilities going unpaid and being shut off even when the tenants themselves call to warn them of the discrepancy multiple times. Then, when their error racks up hundreds in unpaid bills it is left to the property owner/ tenants to clean up their mess for them. Not even so much as an apology to any of the injured parties for their grievous mistake. They often appear out of the loop about the status of the properties they manage and sell, baffled to find out the property owner has listed the building for sale months after the listing goes up. How bad at your job do you have to be that not even your clients trust you to sell their house? They will hand out your private cell number to independent contractors rather than do their job and notify you themselves of maintenance work that needs to be done. To add insult to injury their office is often unavailable to receive calls, you will be left listening to a busy/disconnected signal. Their website is a mess, a pre-built template they seem incapable of actually using if I had to hazard a guess. My apologies if this company is secretly a non profit staffed entirely by people with impaired memory disabilities as I see no other charitable reason as to why no one at their offices appears capable of making notes or following up on things. If you are (un)fortunate enough to actually get a human being on the phone you will be met with confusion as you attempt to re-explain a problem you brought to their attention the day before and the day before that. Apparently their inability to communicate extends to their coworkers as well as their clients and I guess they just never learned how to use their file system. It is baffling to me how they can't even learn from their own mistakes. That utilities issue I mentioned above happened not once but twice at the same property with both incidents barely a year apart. Yes you read that correctly, the same issue at the same property in less than 18 months. Even after they were repeatedly warned that tenants were unable to access utility charges in order to pay them. For context their website doesn't allow you to submit payments larger than the sum of the charges they add so tenants are unable to just pay actual sum. Twice this happened. Who knows how many times this exact problem has occurred at other properties they manage. This lazy lack of simple due diligence isn't just financially troublesome it is quite literally dangerous. This is Ohio, imagine having your heating shut off in the middle of winter because the property manager just didn't pay the gas /electric bill despite you constantly warning them about it. An utter and contemptible joke of a company. I sincerely hope for the sake of all their clients that they go out of business if not find themselves criminally charged for their sheer lack of business sense and human decency.
Negative experience: I have contract to sell my property; I email realtor advising that my tenant was evicted and entrance lock was replaced ,realtor never respond my email. I was trying to buy another property; realtor make serious mistakes on the paperwork and was putting pressure on me to do electronic signing . I am trying to terminate my contract for selling my property with this company but realtor do not respond to my email. the realtor was from Aurora branch in OH
Negative experience: ANNE PALMER 4:41 PM (21 minutes ago) to me RE: JUSTIN AIKENS REALTOR, THE AIKENS TEAM/KW CHERVENIC KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY I did not want to write a review as I have not used your services, but I must. My mother just had an experience with Justin Aikens, Realtor. My mother lives in an apartment building that was just sold at 2059 12th St Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Her landlord has not been communicative with her about what is going on so she reached out to Justin Aikens to ask questions (worried if she would need to find a new place to live, find out dates, etc.) Later, she was informed of an inspection that was to happen. During the time before the inspection, I came down with covid and was around my mom. She called Justin to inform him that she could have covid and to see if they would need to reschedule. He was so demeaning to put it mildly and told her she would have to “prove it” (show him immediately the covid test) because they were not rescheduling. When she did the test later that night and was negative, she called him back to let him know and then asked him why he was so rude to her when she was just trying to explain the situation. He told her he did not have time for this and rudely hung up on her. Also after the inspection when she came home her apartment doors were not even locked! She has been a wonderful tenant. This all came on so quickly and is a stressful situation but for Justin Aikens to belittle my mother is unprofessional and I would never recommend his services. My mother is someone deserving of respect as many in this world are.
Fantastic experience: We couldn’t have had a better agent to work with than Jana . She went out of her way to make selling our brother in laws house in Tallmadge easy from day one. Great lady and agent ❤️
Fantastic experience: I am a real estate professional so I am a conscious observer of those in my profession. I recently had the most pleasant experience with a licensed agent at what I have found to be one of the most esteemed real estate brokerages in Ohio; Keller Williams Chervenic Realty Stow. I have had the pleasure of working with several agents there in the past in a professional capacity a couple specifically come to mind Aimee Neiman and Debbie Spencer both I know are bar none exceptional licensed agents whether they are on the listing or selling side consistently phenomenal. Well recently as a consumer we inquired about one of Aimee’s listings and she referred us to a co-agent due to a scheduling conflict; Ariyon Robinson. Kudos to Keller Williams Chervenic Stow for having Ariyon join their team. She is kind, knowledgeable, professional, extremely efficient, very communicative and responsive. Though the contract fell through Ariyon was lock step with us from start to finish with no unnecessary or unexplained delays at all. She asked the right questions and gave us needed answers for all our concerns. Thank you and keep up the great job Ariyon and all the fine agents there!
Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to Brent Chervenic for his patience and diligence with us. Most people know this market has been an enormous pain to try to buy a house in. My wife and I actively hunted for a house for over 2.5 years. We looked at well over 50 houses and placed offers (above asking) frequently. Brent was there every step of the way, set up our showings, offered advice, and was extremely patient. He is a very nice guy, and is very knowledgeable about everything home related. Would certainly recommend him to anyone. Especially after we tried two other realtors that didn't even compare. He even checked in on us months after finally getting our home. Genuine guy.
Negative experience: My letter to Keller Williams: Emily Larson, Please be advised that I will share the awful experience that I have had with you, Keller Williams and Tim Gambone with my family, friends, and acquaintances. I have been an excellent renter of the 3084 Driftwood Rd Apt. B residence since 2006, which both of you have stated in previous communication. I do not appreciate Tim Gambone calling me in the middle of my work day when I am seeing patients in the office and basically accusing me of subletting my apartment and asking me if I live with my partner. It is not your business or Tim Gambone's business on my personal matters, as my rent and utilities are always taken care of by me. Furthermore, since I have been an excellent tenant, the matter of my lease agreement could have been handled with better business acumen. Instead your management company tapes a paper to my door with a 30 day notice to vacate the premises. It seems to me that he is being vindictive, as I have no interest in signing another lease agreement for a year as I have other plans. It has been nothing but an awful experience since Tim Gambone has taken ownership of the property and Keller Williams managing. I am sure I am not the only person who has had a bad experience with this company, given the poor customer reviews.
Negative experience: Jared Is unprofessional and rude
Hi Stefan,
Can you please give us a call to discuss your experience so we can understand more? 3306861644
Negative experience: Scam artists when it comes to rental property management. You have to pay $50/person for every housing application despite them all being managed by KW, and then when you go to check out, it says you may just randomly be charged extra later on down the line?! First of all, I've had to pay my own background check before and it was only $29. How could it possibly cost $50+? I applied for a house I was very interested in listed by Laurie Heidman. I have called her office, the main office, emailed her, FB messaged her... No reply ever, the main office says she's "very busy"... Well, if you are too busy to reply to potential renters, Laurie, I have no interest in having you as a landlord. Return my $100 application fee, I am no longer interested and getting ready to report this as fraud. Don't give any money to these scam artists.
Positive experience: Nice people
Negative experience: Their agent acted very unprofessionally and unethically. He just played filthy games with clients
Negative experience: This company this is a very bad experience
Fantastic experience: Shirley Conti Stahl has been my realtor for over 10 years and helped buy 3 homes. Shirley takes the time to get to know her customers to search for the perfect home. Shirley goes above and beyond to research homes for her customers before they take a tour! Our daughter just bought her first home with Shirley! Shirley is not only a great realtor but a good person and our friend!
Fantastic experience: They are very professional and kind. Whenever I have an issue they are prompt and they have great communication when it comes to any problems in your house. Love them
Fantastic experience: Jared made our relocation from Massachusetts to Tallmadge Ohio. Super helpful and great to work with. He is not just an awesome RE Agent but a new friend. Thanks a million Jared !!
Fantastic experience: Helpful and knowledgeable employees and agents!
Fantastic experience: Brad Miklovich was recommended to us from a friend and was fun to work with from the beginning. He would answer my texts during all hours of the day, was quick to respond, and very helpful. We worked with him and his team Debra to buy and sell our homes and most of everything went seamlessly. I would suggest them to anyone! Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Mr. Cullen very professional.
Negative experience: Bad dealings with this place...properties managed by this company not up to par.
Negative experience: I would have said 1 1/2 -2 stars at best. We recently went through this agency to sell our house and I have to admit that I am seriously disappointed in the agent we used and the agency. The contact for showings was impersonal and at least one of the showings was completely messed up, when we spoke with the agent we were told they would sort it out in the morning, not much of an answer. The agent literally did nothing for us, we were told that if we choose to list with Keller William's the house would be posted online within a couple hours, instead it 1- 1/2 later. Our agent showed up for nothing, he was to "busy" for literally everything to do with our house showings, inspection everything. We had no real communication from our agent or even responses from our agent. I would honestly say after this experience I am severely disappointed in the service and I do not feel comfortable buying or selling another house with Keller Williams.
Fantastic experience: Realtor Mary Markulis helped my fiance and I buy our first home in Stow, OH. To say that she went above and beyond is truly an understatement. She made an experience- that we thought was going to be stressful, so amazing and enjoyable. If you want professional services from a kind individual who knows her stuff call Mary!! You won't regret it!!!
Positive experience: Helped us purchase our house without hassell
Positive experience: Good people work at this company
Fantastic experience: Baby Web
Negative experience: If you are a contractor and want to get paid, my advice to you is to steer clear of doing work for Keller Williams Chervenic Realty.
Negative experience: Unprofessional & inconsiderate staff. Do not work with this broker or it's agents.
Fantastic experience: Dennis Gonatas is the best!
Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff
Fantastic experience: Having dealt with two agents from this office, they were both top notch and a great real estate agency to work with!
Fantastic experience: Recently purchased our first home thanks to Laurie Chervenic. She was incredibly fast when responding to us, from when we started checking out homes all the way through closing. She was also very flexible, which was great with our busy work schedules. She was patient with all of our questions/lack of experience, and she is extremely knowledgeable. Truly, she went above and beyond to get us the house we really wanted, and we couldn't have been more impressed. So thankful we found her and we highly recommend her!!!!
Negative experience: RUDE RUDE RUDE - Mary Jo Kormushoff (agent) Called her and set up a showing to view one of her brand new listings. On the day of the showing, she arrived and was less than friendly. She failed to formally introduce herself and proceeded to unlock the home. As we toured the home, she just wandered behind us, as if we had bothered her to show the property. Shortly thereafter, when we wanted to look around the outside of the home, she proceeded to excuse herself & indicated that we were free to continue looking around and if we had any questions, to just follow up with her. It was as if she was needing to be elsewhere, even though we scheduled the showing 3 days earlier. I just assumed that must have been why she seemed so disinterested in us as (cash) buyers. We continued to look around the outside and when we walked back towards the front door, she proceeded to greet ANOTHER person waiting for HIS AGENT to arrive and starting showing him the property and COMPLETELY BLOWING OFF HER OWN CLIENTS!!! My husband called her out on the spot right then and told her that she was RUDE and that WE were HER showing! She completely lacks class or professionalism..........what a disgrace to the agency that she represents! I wish I could give ZERO stars!
Fantastic experience: I want the house how much for it
Negative experience: I was forced into an inconvenient show time to view a house because that's all the agent could do. So I left work early, drove half an hour to view the house and the agent never showed. I wanted an hour. He wouldn't answer his phone or email and the office kept telling me to "deal with the agent". How could I? He wouldn't respond. No one wanted to take the time to help, they just wanted to pawn me off as someone else's problem. Atrocious service, don't waste your time.
