Negative experience: I would advise anyone who deals with these people to have a buyer's agent or an attorney review and get all correspondence in writing. Their unproffessionaism cost me $5,000 in ernest money. Gone.
Hello Mr. Mallett,
We understand that losing earnest money is incredibly frustrating, and we are truly sorry that your transaction did not close as hoped.
In any real estate transaction, earnest money is held in escrow and its release or forfeiture is strictly governed by the legally binding contract signed by both the buyer and the seller. When a buyer is unable to fulfill their specified contractual obligations within the agreed timelines, the contract dictates how those funds are handled.
As real estate professionals, we are legally and ethically bound to follow the terms of the contract to protect all parties involved. We always echo your advice and strongly encourage buyers to fully understand their contract terms or consult with legal counsel during a transaction. We wish you the absolute best in your future real estate endeavors.
Negative experience: I came in from out-of-state to relocate my elderly mother and used Town & Country to sell her home. We dealt with Lynda Davis. She gave us the price she felt should be asked for the house. We were later informed of an offer and given a list of things,, in the process, that she claimed the buyer would have to do to remodel the house to compare it to the prices of homes they were attempting to sell in that same area and therefore, that could lower the price of the original amount asked for the house. Before mom could even complete the paperwork, the buyer was entering what was STILL MY MOTHER'S HOME, using HER utilities, to do things they wanted to get done so fast they didn't even wait for a signature to start, BUT Lynda Davis and Town & Country were the only ones that held the keys to the house so something wasn't right. We were given Another Reason that, in the end, benefited one of Lynda's co-workers, right there in the same Town & Country office we were using to sell the house!!! We later learned that this particular buyer, Kim Holt I do believe it was, WHICH THEN EXPLAINED A LOT, right out of Town & Country's own office, is known for this kind of behavior AND her sole intent is and was to rent the house the day after mom left !! She had no intent on doing Any home improvements, which my mom's house, she knew, didn't need any improvements, to be rented out immediately. Even tho this was legal, I believe the people in this office would lie, beg, steal and borrow for a dollar, ESPECIALLY if THEY want your house!! They are probably the best lesson I've had in life regarding dishonesty and Boy, Were They A Lesson Learned!! I, therefore, would not recommend this office, nor it's people, to anybody, if they are seeking Honest help in selling their property!!
Negative experience: Town and Country is run by the most incompetent people I have ever encountered. When our lease was transferred from another management company to them, we got a letter saying we had an appointment to meet and we supposed to sign a new lease agreement. We showed up for the appointment and they had no idea what we were talking about or who we were. We never signed a new lease agreement. Six months later we got a letter saying the house would be inspected. The letter said it would be a Wednesday but the actual date was a Thursday so we called to find out what day it would actually be. Again, they seemed to not know what were talking about. It took at least 5 minutes to get the person on the phone to even understand that the date was wrong. Incidentally, no one ever showed up for the inspection. These people are highly inept and unprofessional.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, but it appears there has been a mix-up. We are a real estate sales office and do not handle rental properties, lease transfers, or property management inspections whatsoever.
It looks like you might be looking for a different company with a similar name. We highly recommend reaching out to the correct property management team so they can address your leasing and inspection concerns.
Since this review was posted to our sales page in error, we kindly ask that you remove it so future clients looking to buy or sell homes aren't confused. Best of luck getting this resolved!
Fantastic experience: Open, honest communication. They really care about you as a person, not just a customer or a transaction.
Fantastic experience: Debra Kee is my realtor and I know it's a job but she has been really good to me in the purchasing of a home. She has done all I have asked and that sits very well with me.
Positive experience: Nice, Friendly People.
Fantastic experience: My husband and I were relocating to Tennessee and stumbled upon Ginger Williams. And we were so lucky. We were making one main trip to TN to look at homes. Before the trip she was in contact, getting to know our wants and needs. Upon our arrival she was so pleasant and also introduced us to Bailey Bell. Working alongside both agents, we felt they truly listened to all our concerns and answered any questions we may have. We didn’t have any luck our first trip down, but that didn’t stop their performance and consistency in helping us! Once we were finally under contract on a house, they fought for us! We never felt like just another deal. Come to closing day we had issues, and they still were right along side with us making sure we were taken care of and the deal was handled professionally and we got the best deal! We never felt alone in the process and will always recommend them to everyone!
Fantastic experience: Amy M is the best realtor in all of TN. We moved from Texas to Trenton and it would not be possible without her. She is kind. She is smart. She is patient. She is AWESOME!!!
Fantastic experience: Very quick to respond when interest shown. Please be patient with questions, as there is much activity in the market currently. They take ownership in the job they do, so that requires details of your needs. Looking forward to working more with Kim Holt, and we hope she can find our spot! thanks!
Thanks so much! We love Kim Holt and are so glad she was able to help you!!! Thanks so much for your review!
Fantastic experience: We love Kristen Londe. Sold and bought our last 2 homes with her. She is awesome.
We love Kristen Londe too! We are so glad you enjoyed working with her! Thanks for the 5 star review!
Positive experience: Nice staff
Negative experience: Do they accept people with a eviction it’s been since 2016. If not do anybody know any real estate that helps

Fantastic experience: Best place to get help with buying or selling your home!
Fantastic experience: Love Mike
Fantastic experience: Amy McLemore is the best!
Fantastic experience: We are first time home buyer and I am beyond happy we choose them as our realtor. They went above and beyond and made sure this was a smooth process. Of course it was not, not their fault but they held my hand the whole way and explained every detail to me. If you are looking to buy or sell you can not get any better than Town and Country, Jonathan are realtor was AWESOME and so was Katie. Thank you all, we love our new home.
Very kind words! Thank you so much. We are glad you were served well during your purchase.
Fantastic experience: Love them
Aw, makes us blush...
Fantastic experience: Town and Country Realtors are very professional, kind, and good at what they do. I highly recommend them if your wanting to sell your home or find a new one. A lot of realtors can get busy and not get stuff done fast, but they have a skilled team with a lot of connections.
Thank you so much for your kind review of our service. Please let us know how we can serve you and your family in the future.
Negative experience: DON"T RENT FROM THEM!!! They stole 217.40 from me when I moved out. Charged me for things I reported as broken and was extremely rude to me when I was trying to figure out how they came up with 217.40 and she threaten to send me to collections today so I would have to pay 33% more. DON"T RENT FROM THEM!!!
Tonya,
We are sorry you didn't receive the service you were expecting from them. We are not a property management company. You may have mistaken us for Town and Country Property Management. Would you mind removing your comment, as we are different company?
Joey Hale, Owner - Town & Country REALTORS
Negative experience: Happens that I was looking for a realter when this guy (a realter at Town and Country) decided to assault on line over math being racist. Tried to tell the company quietly but Town & Country Inc. deleted blocked me. If this is the way they do business I'm glad I found out before entering into a contract.
Fantastic experience: Good people
Fantastic experience: Pleasant and professional to work with! Lori is the best!
Negative experience: Echoing what others have said. Horrible to work with and rude despite their supposed years in the business. Homeowners and potential renters beware.

Negative experience: If I could give them 0 stars for how poor their customer service is over the phone then I definitely would. They lady was beyond rude and when I called back to see about the property rental that was on the internet she wouldn’t even answer the phone. Called back the next day on a different phone and was treated the same way. I don’t understand why they have to be so rude and impolite.
Fantastic experience: After discussing some of the rental issues with Ms.Charlotte at Town and Country I will say I am pleased with the outcome. I rented from Town and Country for almost 2 years, my daughter is still a renter with them and they have come out on every occasion.
Fantastic experience: Town and country is a great place too rent from they do everything they can too get u in the place u need too be. Any problems they will make it rite
Negative experience: Never been treated more rude than with one your agents. No wonder you have 2 stars. Let me add to the growing number of unhappy people who have had the unfortunate occasion to come in contact with Clown And Country
