Negative experience: very bad people i recommend no one, I MEAN NO ONE, does business with these people, if you do be prepared to sue these people and make sure you read your lease very carefully before signing or take to your lawyer, i know YOU don't have records of this name because, I rented from YOU guys before and it was a different name at the time don't try to manipulate the situation like you guys are innocent lol, TRUST me I was under you people for 5 or 6 years I KNOW

Negative experience: Florida Resale Properties management is very rude, disrespectful, and they do not keep up on Property maintenance as they should. You tell them about issues they do not resolve the problems. They are very unprofessional and Jessica will hang up on you rather than hearing out their renters. Floors are falling through, the home is infested with termites. You have to beg to get your receipt after paying your rent. I would not recommend Florida Resales Properties to anyone. Very unsatisfied.

I didn’t exactly have the best rental history but everyone here was more than understanding and helped me still get a place with them. You never know what you’re going to get with some places in FL, but the unit I’m renting from these guys is well maintained, in a perfect but quiet neighborhood which is exactly what I was looking for. If you’re ever interested in renting/owning, I highly recommend working with Florida Resale!

Fantastic experience: Critically underrated property group. I love the home I got for the price and they are very accommodating and compliant after the fact. I even learned of services like Amenify and Poplin through this company. Go blow your wad of cash with zikorvic or red roof if you prefer a smile and a knife in back.

Negative experience: You want more work? Then hire them for property management...you will constantly need to be checking things, service calls, and double checking accounts. Nice enough people but not at all professional enough in my opinion.

Negative experience: They came across as the property manager.. However we're just trying to rent the property. My move in got date got pushed because Cathy gave me the HOA form from another association. Was never given key to deadbolt and everything that I was told would be "taken care of" was not. Thankfully my lease is expiring. Nightmare of an experience.. AVOID!

Negative experience: Rented a trailer from them and had problems with the trailer since moving in wasn'tworth 1600. I paid my rent and showed proof they said it wasn't paid and evicted me. Don't ever rent from them. Horrible land lords nothing gets fixed.

Negative experience: Very awful went to get some information from neighbors on a duplex house and what I found out was horrible about this company.... be careful! thank God I went asking around before proceeding.

Negative experience: Really bad service, if I where you I wouldn't go with them, very unprofessional not communicative. They approve you to take your money and say they Aproved somebody else.

Negative experience: If I can rate it 0 I would, very unprofessional agent Cathy Adkins is not to trust be carefull with this company do not trust them. After I got approved not even 2 days later they did not wanted to meet with me to check the air and hitter at the property before making any deals and approved someone else on purpose to take my application money fee.

Negative experience: Called and property i was interested in someone was approved for already. No problem. But couldn't take the time to tell me about other properties that qualify for what I'm looking for. Instead led me to a HORRIBLE website. I'm tech savvy and this website was terrible. The listing of houses is the worst listing. Tells you nothing about property. Like I'm going to click on every one. And then when I did click on one it did nothing. Will not be get my business.

Negative experience: This company should be forced to close. Absolutely disgusting. Never in my 18 yrs of renting did I ever deal with such a terrible company. The only thing they care about is rotation and money. Never fix anything lie apartments are the rented in more then sub par conditions. These people absolutely suck. Stay far away I don’t care how bad you need an apartment it won’t be worth it and you will be far from happy.

Negative experience: Too bad I had to give them a star to post. I'm a Rental property owner and they are by far the worst I've encountered during my 35+ years in the business.

Negative experience: These individuals only care about making a sale. I was given the apartment so filthy after being told it was going to be cleaned. I had to clean it myself, I was having so many issues with appliances and they were not responsive in a timely manner and when they responded they gave me the run around. I will not recommend working with them at all!

Fantastic experience: Vanessa was an outstanding agent! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to pricing out rental rates as well as a sales price for our home! She will forever be our realtor! Family owned and operated company and that means a lot to us!

Negative experience: Made an appointment to view a property. After waiting an hour past our appointment time and calling into the office find out what was going on and getting no information. Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this company what so ever. If this is how you are to view the property I can only imagine how you are when there is an issue with the property.

Negative experience: Told me the microwave needed replacement and the toilets needed to be cleaned. Downright disrespectful!!! Swindled a large portion of my security deposit. Almost $400. House was left spotless as seen in pictures, and much cleaner then I received it. Criminals in my opinion no scruples and pray to the almighty dollar. Approach with caution. Will take advantage of nice people given the opportunity.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have to agree with the majority of reviews, not only did they completely ignore repeated requests for repairs, they would not even reimburse me for my out pocket to buy the new thermostat and shower fixture. When I occupied, the home was in bad condition and the yard was a jungle that took weeks to get in shape and when I left everything looked better than when I arrived. Now they are making ridiculous excuses to deny refund of my deposit. DON'T DO IT!!!

Negative experience: They'll steal your deposit in a heartbeat ,be careful ,also don't maintain their a/c ducts such as cleaning ,bunch of crooks also have rats

Negative experience: Poor maintenance and owner is cheap and tries to do all the maintenance himself. Don’t expect your deposit back even if place is clean, might as well leave a mess because they will make things up and keep it. Wouldn’t waste your time even renting from these people if you have a good credit score just buy it will be cheaper and will avoid owner harassing about parking, guests and using inside voices by the pool area before 7 pm.

Negative experience: As a current renter I have to say this by far the worst experience of my life. Constant harassment, unkept agreement, lack of organization, and so much more. I have been living here simply waiting for my lease to be up. Constant changes of lease without tenant(s) knowledge. I’m young not unintelligent, yet I feel it’s a constant game of what reason will they find next month to tape another notice to my door from a oppressive owner. As a property management group you guys really aren’t managing and I’m highly disappointed. Honestly nothing nice to say. I should’ve known better from day one when the phone was picked up and I was giving blunt starky attitude, so much disinterested as if you could care less. I hate to degrade so one I really do. Still honesty is key. Your office holds no company values when it comes to customer service, or commitment. I hope to never deal with any of you again in the near further.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience going through this agency . A years worth of negligence and unreliable people. Didn’t give me my security deposit and having to sue to get it back . Please never go through these horrible people

Negative experience: Me and my girlfriend applied for a property here. We were told we were the first ones, and we were getting ready to cut the check for our deposit. However, after we applied, we were suddenly told there are four other people that applied at the same time and they wanted the application fee immediately. After many phone calls and emails, I later learned they gave away the property to someone else. The whole time I was dealing with them, they were not very professional and ignoring my phone calls and emails. I think they should give properties away on a first-come first-serve basis, not first one to show up at their door with a check. Especially when they cannot communicate effectively.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Cathy and she has been awesome. She has definitely done her job in customer service and customer satisfaction. I just moved here from GA and she made my experience amazing and made me feel like I was welcomed to the Florida resale properties family. Thank you for your amazing work Cathy.

Negative experience: This is a horrible company. Horrible communication between them when u need something to be fixed. And trust me u can't never get back your security deposit. Even u did everything right before u move out to make sure u get the deposit back. . They just give u all reasons that don't make sense to me to try to keep my deposit. I would go the court with them... but my husband said it just waste my time and waste more money. Just let any one know avoid this company or renting from them.

Fantastic experience: I had major plumbing issues and my fridge broke in the process. After one call to the office Vanessa had the plumbers out and a fridge in one day. This woman is an asset to the company. I will be staying with FRP for a very long time. Thank you for getting things taken care of so quickly.

Negative experience: Horrid management don’t waste your time or money

Negative experience: "Slum Lords" in training.. Be careful in dealing with them. Have to fight to get deposit back, and I bet i'm not the first nor last.

Negative experience: I wish i could give them nothing.the most horrible low down dirty Miserables rip off Crooks I have ever dealt with!and I see I'm not the only one who they have taken advantage of. I paid a $900 deposit to move in my apartment Ms Julie told me that they would take a hundred and fifty for the recleaning of the apartment when I moved. I clean my place before I moved and she still kept my $900.but not for long I will see you in court. She said that my apartment was filthy but only had pictures of toothpicks sitting on the counter and a picture of air filter. Thank God I love to take pictures. Whatever you do avoid these people and please warn your friends and family because they are not right.

Fantastic experience: After reading the other reviews, I'm not sure why my experience with Florida Resale was so different. I never had a problem with repairs. They didn't come down on me when I was late with the rent because I had to travel out of state for a funeral. Julie, the leasing agent was very professional and kind. My duplex was very well kept. One of my co-worker rented the same duplex after I moved out and she hasn't had any problems. I only move to get closer to my job and my son's job in Ft. Myers. The rent was good and they didn't raise it after a year. I would recommend Florida Resale to any of my friends and family. Thank you Julie and team for everything.

Negative experience: Horrible...

Negative experience: This is one of the worst property management companies I have ever dealt with. I have had an intermittent AC issues ever since I moved in. I called them to have it looked at. They send out an AC tech who said the house is not cooling properly because the ac filter needed to be changed. I usually put in a new one every 3 months. This time I forgot and went 4 months. Florida Property sends me a letter telling me I had to pay for the service call or they would take "action". 10 days later I starting having the issue again (The house would not cool below 78 degrees). I called and left a not so happy message. Two days later I call them, they said they would send someone out again and stated I would have to pay for the call if no problem was found. I told them to take a hike and was not going to pay. They found the problem finally which was a bad fan. Being a good tenant paying rent on time always, I suddenly became a "problematic renter and for spite they hiked my rent up $200.00. Coincidently they stated that they "suddenly" decided to reassess the rental and found it was being undervalued and convinced the owner to raise the rent. More a ploy to get us to leave. They are crooks an awful management company. Their hours are from 10 to 4 with a lunch HUH!! Run from this company.

Negative experience: These people are crooks. I am not at all surprised to read the review someone else wrote here and cannot agree more! I also left the apartment nioer than when I moved in (yes, I am a handyman; not all renters are WT who ruin places). I ended up having to sue these people for my security deposit money back. Back in the olden days perhaps crooks like this could get away with this crap but today we have the internet and can expose this kind of stuff. (which means they aint too bright either). In this economy you have the choice of thousands of rentals; I say take your business elsewhere.
