Experiencia fantástica: Purchasing a standard one-bedroom, I chose Geoff and Aaron to agent. The process of selling my previous condo, and the complications of my unique situation to purchase took nearly a year and a half. Nevertheless, Geoff treated me royally with updates, information, flexibility of plans, and checking in to make sure I was secure and supported for the entire 18 months. All this for a relatively low purchase price/sales commission. He is thoroughly informed on current real-estate, is honest yet gentle and compassionate, and has insight into what clients need. Every unit he chose to show me was a definite potential satisfying the great bulk of my wish-list, and the one he found I purchased is as close to ideal as any realistic buyer could hope for. He also assisted in my finding an effective (and fair-priced) lawyer, an excellent moving company, and neighborhood advice which I’d put in the “above and beyond” category. In fact, if I could sum up the service, I’d title it “Above and Beyond.”

She worked with me in my pursuit of buying my very first property in NYC as a single woman with a dog. I was so intimidated and didn’t know anything about the process, but Danielle was quick to explain everything and to assure me that no question/worry was too small for her to address. Even when I would text her well after work hours (with the expectation that she would respond the next morning) she generally responded within an hour. Since I was out of state, my trips to see properties in NYC tended to be last minute; but Danielle always worked around my schedule. During each trip she drove me to all of the properties I requested and more gems that she dug up herself. She is the type of realtor who will show up with a printed itinerary complete with photos of all of the properties you’ll be seeing so that you can keep track and take notes. She’ll also be clear with you on what properties are the right ones to go for and which might be unrealistic. I really appreciated that she was honest with me and helped me manage my expectations. She kept me grounded and informed throughout this very stressful process. She really was the best realtor I could’ve asked for. When I was having trouble with a broker, Danielle stepped in and connected me with a mortgage program that gave me an incredible rate. Then once the offer was accepted, she walked us through every next step — providing references and recommendations on mortgage brokers, lawyers, inspectors, etc. She made all the paperwork & board package for us as easy as possible — creating structured Google folders to drop documents into, pulling it all together, sharing example coop letters, offering to take documents to coop lawyers’ offices herself personally, etc. She also helped the coop wrap up their paperwork for the lender, and really went above and beyond to make sure all loose ends were tied, all t’s crossed and i’s dotted. Danielle is an incredible communicator, from logistics and details to managing the emotional part of home buying (which I had underestimated!). After meeting many people through this process, I can confidently say that Danielle’s communication skills are second to none, and that’s a key ingredient that smoothed out the process as much as possible. Also she has a great team behind her, so any time we had any particularly tricky questions or situations, we could tap not only her expertise but also that of Aaron and Geoff to get more perspectives. Experiencia fantástica: Here's the TL;DR: Geoff and Aaron are incredibly attentive, caring, personal agents who also happened to get us 50k more than we thought was possible. I'm not sure I could ask for anything more. Here's the story: We met with Geoff and Aaron as we were getting ready to sell our first house and Geoff asked what our experience buying and selling real estate had been like. I said plainly that buying the house we were now selling was probably the worst experience of my life (we did it without an agent—got pressured, pushed around, and bullied). He promised this would be an improvement. They made a convincing presentation and are fun in a way that you want to be friends with them after the sale, but here's the important thing they did in that meeting: They gave us realistic expectations even as they were trying to get our business. Their estimate of how long it would take to sell our house, which was a pretty odd and singular property in the area, was within a week of what happened. They also made our particular situation as easy as it could be. We had moved out, but they were at the house watering plants, picking up mail, and meeting repair people as necessary. We had someone push a BS offer for WEEKS as soon as it went to market and they dealt with that situation, knowing the specifics of our house and what kind of buyer we ultimately needed to find. Ultimately they found that buyer and the price was much higher than what we had even discussed as a top end in our initial meeting. The last thing that makes them so right for where they work is that they are so damn interested in all the history that's in the area. The Bronx is an odd man out in New York real estate but there are so many beautiful properties and special parts of it. Geoff and Aaron can go chapter and verse on most of it. If you live in the BX and are looking to sell or you're trying to figure where the hell in NYC you can buy real estate (it's probably the Bronx), they will help set you up for success.
