Experiencia negativa: If I could give this management company a zero I would. I bought my apartment in 2018 and they have since DOUBLED my HOA fees because they can’t keep buildings updated properly and do patch jobs which eventually cost share holders THOUSANDS in need for repairs. Not to mention they offer zero and I mean ZERO amenities in their properties. It’s truly sad that they don’t offer anything yet send threatening letters to tenants about storage in garage spaces when the reality is we have absolutely nothing and pay well over 1k a month in HOA for absolutely nothing. If you’re looking to buy, buy with a different management company.

To be honest, it was my first coop deal and first time dealing with PLI. Natasha's professionalism was remarkable. Her response time and patience when answering any question that I had was truly amazing. I am truly grateful to her for making my first coop deal experience a pleasant one. Experiencia negativa: Don't use this company!!! In my co-op building, PLI just raised our maintenance 11 percent. In the last 3 years our maintenance has been increased 21 percent! No transparency, no good!!!

Not only does she respond to all emails timely but she takes her time to explain processes to you to help you make informed decisions. Experiencia negativa: This Management Company is a nightmare! Our Co-Op started working with them about a year or two ago and has completely gone down hill since then. Incompetent, and inadequate. The issues we face: elevator constantly breaking down, unskilled Property Manager, and A/C failure during a heat advisory. This Company has no empathy for the Buildings/Shareholders they service, and rude when concerns are brought to their attention. Does the fact they haven’t responded to a single bad review on this page speak volumes right now? If you are a Business or Building Complex in need of a Management Company, PLEASE keep looking! Take ALL of these bad reviews seriously. They will only destroy what you have.

Residents have circulated grievances and her and would like our former property manager, Loretta to return. Loretta was the best - professional, quick to respond and friendly.

Zero transparency, can’t reach anyone on the phone— if you’re lucky you’ll get a call back in a week. We went through 3 property managers, each somehow less capable than the previous. They will take a thriving building and run it into the ground, property is filthy and in distress. Property manager Raquel is as arrogant and useless as they come.

Experiencia fantástica: We are a law office that has leased commercial space all over the boroughs We have found this firm to be extremely professional in their dealings with us, and our building and space is meticulously maintained, and there is a feeling of safety and security there. As a matter of fact, I get the sense that all of the other tenants feel like they are part of the family in the building. I highly recommend PLI.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave zero stars I would. Avoid living in any properties they manage they are negligent crooks who let you live in damaged buildings, and do nothing about it! I lived in a property for an extended period of time and was an exceptional tenant, but any problems that arose were never fixed. I suffered from Mold toxicity due to their negligence and Lack of care fixing water damage and spent a fortune trying to get my health back and they STILL refused to fix the problem. Then when I moved out, they withheld my security deposit with no reason, which is against New York State law. A bunch of crooks they deserve to get shut down. Shame on you!
Experiencia negativa: Prime Locations was well aware of STRUCTURAL DAMAGE in a building on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, but they delayed fixing it to the point where I lost TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars, several buyers and had to pay maintenance for an extra year when selling my apartment. Their inspector ripped up the floors and noted the fractures in the foundation of my floor...and left it like that. When this building collapses I will be there with photos and emails for the news crews.

My unit is moldy because of water filtration I sent an email to manager no response stiil waiting for about a week. To whom should we address this issue? Board members are no show and so is the manager at 3231 Barker.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT RENT with PLI Management. Do yourself a favor and skip ANNYY property they manage. They are probably the WORST management company I’ve ever dealt with. I currently rent in a building they manage and they do absolutely nothing to help you. Especially if you rent; instead of own. Hiedi Giarlo, the property manager is unprofessional and confrontational. She has an excuse or rebuttal for almost everything. She will try to make you feel less than because you rent and will make sure you know that she ONLY works with or for shareholders. I complained about the apartment above me because they had a baby that ran around throughout the day and even late at night! I tried to be cordial and pay them a visit to make them aware of the noise because maybe they didn’t realize how loud it was for me. When they opened the door I was able to see that they had 0% of the required 80% carpet that’s supposed to be down. When that didn’t work I reached out to management. Heidi, made light of the situation and seemed very reluctant to help before eventually agreeing to send a letter to the family regarding my complaint. After many calls and emails to her for help, she sent a total of 3 letters before telling me that there was nothing else she can do for me because of course, I did not own my apartment. Her and the super for where I live do things how and when they want. There are no procedures or processes for what they do. I was once told something was the way it was because that was the way they wanted it. Instead of things having a procedure or a general known way to do things, they work together to keep what each other says in place although it may be unfair and not make any sense. They also withhold information from you so you only deal with them. Any time I called the “management company” with a complaint or a concern, Heidi’s answer was always she technically didn’t have to talk to me because, you guessed right! I didn’t own my apartment and she couldn’t help me. I’m glad I’m not the only one who reviewed Heidi and how unprofessional she is. IGNORE THE 5 START RATING they have. Those great reviews are from YEARS ago and I’m sure those people are no longer with this company. The newest reviews are pretty much all the same because this company SUCKS! I’m currently looking into filing a complaint against PLI with my county and can’t wait to be able to move from under their uncomfortable and unfair management. If you want your moneys worth. STAY AWAY FROM PLI!
Experiencia negativa: Bryn Mawr Ridge, managed by Prime Locations, labels itself as a "luxury cooperative." That can't be farther from the truth since I can hear people's conversations through the walls and floors of my apartment. Not to mention that (3) Honda SUV's were stolen during one week in the summer. I made 6 noise complaints to the on-site office about excessive noise after 11 PM coming from the tenants living in the apartment below. The Assistant Property Manager (Jewel Choy) ignored my first 2 complaints, and the Property Manager (Andrew Balint) tells me he'll write letters to the tenants and the owner. As a result, I wear 3M ear plugs at night while sleeping. I'm looking forward to the very cold days in the winter months when the indoor temperature will be no higher than 65F. Needless to say I can't wait until I am able to get out of here.
Experiencia negativa: Hiedi Giarlo, rep with new property managers PLI, at Landmark Sq in Port Chester, is responsive with emails though they are unprofessional, not concisely worded, and trite. I requested clarification and received a condescending reponse of "we will see how this goes" after she requested proof my husband owns the unit in order to receive common charge billing.
Experiencia positiva: Prime locations was my management company when I was renting at Boulder apartment building. The building converted to a condominium and they stayed on as the management company. I guess like most management companies, they really seem to support the landlord/sponsor more than the tenants / owners. One positive change over the years is the fact that you can now pay your bill electronically.

Payment processing failures: Started a new drop box in Southeastern, PA, checks are being lost, then now charging late fees. 2. Significant follow-through/competence gaps: Have had a rain water leak for almost 3 years now, technical investigation was done after 35 emails; still have little rivers, no end in site for remedy. Our managing agent, Heidi, has created more of a partnership in running our property. She is responsible, uses initiative and is a skilled communicator. Also working with Deann has been a pleasure. I feel so supported. Working with such a well organized agency has made my role much more manageable.

Experiencia negativa: I've lived in my complex since 2013 and we've gone through a few management company transitions-- this is by far the least responsive building management company we've had. My particular building manager dodges all forms of contact. I'm trying to complete a bathroom renovation and I had all required forms submitted by the tenth of this month. After several follow ups regarding approval, Robert Rinaldi finally emailed me back today to let me know he will not be responding to emails until next Monday. Overall, just disappointed with the "management" and lack of professionalism. I'm happy to remove this review once the issues are addressed.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had the pleasure of living at Sadore Lane Gardens as a renter for the past nine years. If I ever needed repairs, they were done quickly and during the winter months, management does a great job with snow removal. Great for families, close to public transportation and shopping. Olympic size swimming pool is an added bonus :) Sadore Lane is a beautiful place to live!

Unlike most management companies, they are very responsive and always answer within the business day. Everything moved along smoothly with them and any questions or issues are always promptly addressed.
Experiencia fantástica: Unbelievable Customer Service.... I have lived at 1853 Central Park Ave for 4 years now. This is by far the BEST place I have ever lived. The staff are courteous and friendly. They attend to your every need. In particular, Tamisha Davis, the Assistant office manager, is efficient, reliable, responsible, and courteous. When I have an issue, she responds in a timely fashion and I always get a resolution. Rarely, do I have a problem that needs attention. However, when I do, I am confident that Tamisha will have it resolved in a timely and professional manner. We are fortunate to have her on our staff!

I was impressed with the calm and professional manner he had during the renovation when the gas line was struck and caused the buildings to lose the ability to cook for several weeks. I appreciate the initiative he has taken to improve the appearance of the property by using professional landscapers for our grounds. I am looking forward to the improvements that will be coming to our pool grounds. I have been living in Westchester Towers since April 2002. I cannot remember when Tamisha Davis, Assistant Office manager began working here but I do know that ever since Ms. Davis arrived, I am able to communicate with the Management Office and obtain services without issue. When feeling distressed about something in my apartment, garage, or custodial services, Tamisha Davis is responsive, reassuring and helps to resolve the matter quickly. Ms. Davis is always respectful and pleasant even during the most stressful periods Ms. Davis is a conscientious professional, and a pleasure to interact with.

Tamesha when I was going to the process of buy my apartment guided me every step of the way. God knows how lost I was and nervous regarding the purchase and all the documentation that was required for the board. To this day, Mrs Davis whenever I have a question regarding anything and even about my personal matters, she is there as my saving grace. Westchester Tower manager Carlos, is extremely knowledgeable on handeling projects and making sure the in and outdoors projects are completed and up to par. He as well, whenever I have approached him with questions and any concerns, Carlos is readily available and attentive to the matter or concern. As I stated above, I am truly greatful to know that I can depend and rely on Tamesha and Carlos at anytime and for this, I am extremly grateful.

Provided so much information necessary and helpful for an easy move amd didnt even have to ask. Any issues such as parking, were handled quickly and easily. Even the main office staff are friendly and efficient in responding and handling issues and questions. The on-site staff are so friendly and helpful and always keep the grounds looking beautiful.
Experiencia fantástica: I would like to take this opportunity to discuss my experiences dealing with Prime Locations LLC; it’s support staff, and specifically, their managed property @ Bryn Mawr Ridge. Over the past 23 years, I have established excellent communication with PLI principals (David & Lloyd Amster), property manager (Teresa Peteli), and internal support staff. Their ability to execute action plans from the central management office allows for the individual managers to handle on site situations seamlessly. Within in all of this is the ever present, property work staff (superintendents & porters); whose efforts are such a valuable asset to the BMR cooperative. All of the aforementioned attributes aptly describe what a cooperative embodies: Top to bottom attention to detail; which enable a better shareholder experience. It has been an amazing transformation from the Bryn Mawr Ridge, 1990’s to the present day. All of this would not be possible without PLI managements’ concerted efforts! I have full confidence recommending Prime Locations management; and, Bryn Mawr Ridge cooperative.

I was very nervous about the interview at first but the board members made me feel comfortable which was good. The coop board members are very nice, friendly & professional. My entire experience was worth everything i would do it again. The supt Bill n porters are very helpful people who are always there when u call them or on the grounds of the property. I would highly recommend anybody to purchase a coop with prime locations.

Experiencia negativa: Our condo board got rid of them after we learned that Prime Locations had been paying vendors out of the condo’s bank account who never did work on our property (the invoicing had a completely different property address). PLI’s accountants will cut a check out of your account solely based on the property manager’s word - where are the checks and balances? Stay clear of these people and their recommended vendors. The Amster brothers have no control over their accounting or unscrupulous and unprofessional property managers. I would give them zero stars if I could. Contract with them at your own risk!

Based upon my experience with PLI Management as a unit owner ( we have now had 3 different property managers) they are a disaster!!! The property managers are non responsive to the complaints of residents, bring in outside vendors that perform subpar repairs and often ignore residents emails and telephone calls. Based upon this owner's experience: I would not hire them to manage a portable outhouse!!!!
Experiencia negativa: The management reps have little concern for their clients. They do not handle or "manage" repairs and have many inexperienced representatives that can't handle contractors, plumbers, electricians. If you have a building and don't want to do all the work yourself, go elsewhere.
Experiencia negativa: Would never live in another PLI managed property again. We had a laundry room that flooded every time there was a heavy rain. This had been going on long before we moved in as the water had cracked the foundation. It went on for the 3+ years that I lived there. After it flooded, nothing was dried or cleaned. Common areas were rarely cleaned. Garbage and recycling would overlfow regularly. Good luck trying to get in contact with any staff there. Not entirely sure half of them actually exist.

Experiencia fantástica: We hired Prime Locations / Total Realty in 2013 to manage three apartment buildings that were in bad physical shape and losing money. They devised a strategic plan to improve the buildings‘ physical condition and attract reliable paying tenants to rent the vacant apartments. After a couple of years, both the apartments' financial and physical condition improved significantly. We are very grateful for the hard work and guidance provided by the PL/TR team. They have been very professional and know their business well. I highly recommend them.
Experiencia negativa: They are terrible and very unprofessional. They normally don't return calls and when they do it can take days. Our manager is very rude to residents and is very lazy, he doesn't want to do any work.
