Theresa pushed to offer $160,000 more than listed price which we disagreed, when property was sold for just $80,000 above list price. Instead of protecting the buyer's interests, the agent tried to increase their commission by pushing for a higher price.

In 2012 we started working with her when we were ready to buy our first house - we had an extremely limited budget and pretty long checklist (we wanted to be in Potomac, with at least a half acre of land, in a specific school district, with an open floor plan for under $700,000 - which was basically a unicorn). She found us that exact house, and helped us negotiate an even better deal than it was listed for at the time. Since then, she has stayed in touch and been a part of our family as our kids were born and have grown. She's just a truly wonderful person to have in our life and we genuinely consider to be a real friend as well as someone we have done business with. About 2 years ago, we told Theresa we were passively watching the market and asked her to help keep an eye out for houses on our new checklist (at least 4 bedrooms in the same school district, on a quieter street) and again she helped us catch a few houses we would have missed and helped us tour them.
