My mom had left me her two family home in the Wollaston section of Quincy. I live in NYC, and everyone & anyone around me at the time strongly advised that I sell the house. When I met with Hillary during this time period, I had expected her to advise the same. From my previous experience in the real estate business, I’m aware that a sale is a lucrative and desire commodity; certainly over the rental market. Much to my surprise, Hillary suggested that I keep the property as an investment, and rent out the two units. I intuitively trusted her expertise; and most importantly, her humanity (not necessarily a common trait in business). I took her advice, and in just over six years, my house DOUBLED in value.
