Experiencia fantástica: We chose Kathryn Vish as our realtor for our first ever home purchase in Brighton, Michigan. Kathryn has an outstanding poise and sharp eye for detail, and is able to quickly sense whether a listing has what you’re seeking. Kathryn brought a warmth and calm to a process that was less than comfortable. I wish I could say the shopping for our first home was enjoyable. Instead it felt like purchasing a home in a real estate casino, where maximized gains felt paramount over people in every potential deal. Kathryn made my wife and I feel heard and protected through a process that (compared to the casual offers my parents would make and instantly have accepted in Livingston in the late 90s) often felt bleak. When speaking to elders about our home-viewing process during our nine-months shopping and many 350K+ offers, despite knowing our area and budget- They asked: “What’s the problem? Why haven’t you gotten something yet?” Many people of retirement age in 2025 remember window-shopping at will back then, tens or hundreds of listings, options, options, options, and a buyer’s market. You’d make casual offers and have them accepted, and then decide you wanted something else and back out without care. In 2025, anything in Livingston with a half bath and an outhouse, a busted well, and a cracked foundation seems to be half a million. High earnest-money deposits. Inspection conditions. Escalation clauses. We had to use all of these to get a home. Being fairly old-school, it was not what we wanted. But Kathryn was patient, steady, assertive, and knowledgeable. She strongly encouraged us to consider the market environment when we formed our offers, but never pushed us to do anything we weren’t comfortable with. We slowly adjusted and eventually got into a lovely home. Two years later, we are happy in a beautiful ranch in a great school district, with a sizeable lot, and big trees. Chris and Kathryn are the people you need for your purchase in this competitive market, regardless of your budget or context- whether residential or luxury, they are people of character, class, and experience, who will deliver exceptional results. I will use Kathryn Vish for any real estate purchases I make in the future. Get the best. Get Vish.

I interviewed several agents and Chris was by far the best just during the interview process. Chris is extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive, excellent communicator and negotiator! Chris was referred to me by Ron Moir (Livingston Lending) who I also highly recommend. I had to sell my house extremely quick after finding the perfect new home. Chris was not only up for the challenge but wasn't even phased by the very pressed timelines. He laid out our to-do list in an organized fashion and then he got to work! I originally met with Chris on a Friday and by Monday a photographer was at my home taking listing photos. The listing was ready by Wednesday as "coming soon" and went live on Friday. There was an open house on Saturday and a second one on Sunday. Between the 2 open houses and 14 separate showings, we had over 30 families tour my house! We had multiple offers and an accepted agreement by Monday! Chris and his team did a substantial amount of behind the scenes work to get this much traffic and interest in my home. Chris next helped me through the home inspection process and appropriately navigated through the results and requests from the buyer. Then we were on to final negotiations. Chris once again shined during final negotiations. He was fair, but steadfast on what was appropriate and more importantly unacceptable from the buyer's agent. Chris did his homework and new exactly where the market was at when my home was listed. I would highly recommend Chris Vish for anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
