This time Matt was our listing agent for an investment property which we had totally renovated at 226 Old County Rd in Hampden Maine. His listing presentation was Excellent and we believe it was because of his work that Matt was quickly contacted by a tv production company on the first full day that the listing went online! A producer from My Lottery Dream Home called Matt and wanted to use our home on an upcoming HGTV program! This was a huge compliment to both Jim and I and again to the presentation Matt had made of our home. Matt's description, pictures, and video were amazing! And to think we had just received another agent’s market analysis which was $75,000 less than what Matt presented to us! What a loss that would have been for us! We are so thankful we chose Matt for this job and once again we were reminded how important it is to choose the best realtor for the job! Matt continued to provide us the same excellent service throughout the sale and gave us the same care and concern that he had given when he sold our camp a couple of months before. Matt was consistently showing that he was protecting our best financial interest. And in the end, Matt sold this investment property on Nov,15, 2022 for us for $50,000 more than the other agent’s market analysis! Add that to the $92,000 EXTRA funds Matt gained us on the camp sale, and we realized a whopping $142,000 in additional funds to have for our retirement! So, Thank-you Matt!!! Experiencia positiva: Tiana͏ is solid, but shop for a lender Tiana was a solid agent for my partner and I. Whenever we had questions or needed additional guidance, she was responsive and prompt. She also had a lot of ideas that were helpful in thinking about how to go about doing things. It's worth noting that sometimes her responses were not edited or punctuated properly, which led to some confusion and ambiguity, but she was prompt in her replies to clarify. We were newbies to this experience, and Tiana helped us navigate them. However, she recommended a mortgage broker for us with Revolution Mortgage. I recommend shopping elsewhere as the team who helped construct our loan, while fine at the beginning, was awful when things became difficult and repeatedly failed to communicate when it was unclear whether we would get our loan or not. This led to an unfathomable amount of stress and anxiety for the final 72 hours prior to closing. Not only did my partner and I not get the loan we preferred due to a lack of communication on ideas that were being floated days earlier, but we literally found out at the closing table whose names were on the loan (thanks, Revolution!). The broker apologized for my feelings rather than take responsibility for their professional failures. I'm sure they do a fine job in normal circumstances, but ours were not normal. (I swear that I am attempting to be fair in not exaggerating or decontextualizing my experience with Revolution). Tiana is someone I would recommend, but go elsewhere for the lender.

Experiencia fantástica: From͏ Paris with love Texas transplant here. This was our second time buying a home and the first time using a realtor. Now that we have made it through to the other side of the buying process. I can honestly say that Blake Fecteau is the best realtor a serious homebuyer can find. If anyone ever tells you that purchasing a home in any market is easy do not hire them. Mr. Fecteau went above and beyond for us from day one. In the beginning we acted as many do, scrolling through endless lists of comparable homes to our budget/liking. Once we had a handful of hopefuls ( all while still being in Texas) he made an appointment and drove to each one, well documenting everything said house had to offer or lacked completely, until one fateful day weeks after our journey began, we made it to Maine. Within four days of our arrival we spotted a spacious colonial and thought, why not go look at her? On that next day Mr. Fecteau had scheduled a walk through for that next evening and I will never forget that first drive down a lengthy but modest driveway to a hidden colonial just slightly out of sight of the rd pre-fall of course. Within 24 minutes of our arrival my wife and I knew this house was it! It was a Wednesday evening and by 9am the following day he had submitted our offer, and it was accepted same day. Easy peasy right? Negative. The next 47 days Blake Fecteau my wife and I literally had to roll up our sleeves and fight tooth and nail with every obstacle homebuying could create. Without his unwavering commitment to his word of helping us do everything he could to get us into our dream home we would have fallen short of victory. His knowledge of the industry backed by his battle proven ability to stand toe to toe with everything my lender threw at us has earned him a place at my campfire in perpetuity.

Experiencia negativa: The realtor here is trying to do "steering" practices (which is extremely illegal). I hired a real estate agent from here, Joan Paladino. She tried to steer me to use the specific mortgage company that she wants and itimidated me that I would not get a house if I don't use her company. She has not been helpful and only cares about her interest (not the buyer's interest). As first time home buyer, we have suffered so much from this transaction with her. I don't recommend using this place or Joann.
