Purchasing your first home (especially as a first gen home buyer) is a super intensive process. I truly don't know how we would have navigated it without Donna. From our first meeting to closing day, she was super responsive and communicative. Always listening intently to what we were looking for and playing an active role in helping us nail timelines & figure out our non-negotiables. We looked at around a dozen homes with her, and she was incredibly patient with us throughout. His attention to detail, keeping you informed, answering questions honestly, great nature and willingness to go the extra mile even before you ask are the first things that stand out. Experiencia fantástica: Based on my experience you cannot do better. Over the past few years, I have been involved in a variety of RE transactions, both as buyer and seller. Derek was one of two RE companies we met with for the sale of my parents’ Bridgton townhouse. Father is deceased and mother is no longer competent, and I was selling on their behalf. This was to be challenging as I was unfamiliar with the property and many questions about the property were unknown to me. An established Bridgton agency came to the property first. Their agent arrived with wet hair wearing what looked like pajamas and slippers. She went through the property with us, gave some advise, and stated that if chosen they would perform an analysis for pricing, put up a sign, and hold open houses. I asked about staging, and was told no. After she left, thought was “ok this is real estate in Maine” and I need to get used to it. Derek was to come a couple hours later, and I wrongfully assumed the experience would be the same. Derek arrived professionally dressed, and we walked through the property. At the end of the walk through, I fully expected the “if you choose me” speech. Nope! Just when we thought he would leave, Derek asked if we had time for his presentation. Shocked, we said “yes”. Derek pulled out a laptop, and handed us a professionally prepared packet. He then proceeded with a detailed power point presentation on his team’s approach to marketing a property, and why it will get the seller the best price and terms for their sale. During the presentation, it was also apparent that Derek knew more about the property and the condo association than I, as trustee. This alone was invaluable. It was immediately clear with whom we would be going forward. After engaging with Derek as our agent, the experience was excellent. Communication was thorough and timely. Detailed thought was given to the right pricing for the market, and best timing for the listing. Choosing the timing was complicated as the townhouse was ready, but we were heading into the holidays when no one has time to shop for a property. The decision was to list right after the new year. After staging with a designer, our listing when up with a sales video highlighting the location, 3d modeling and virtual tour, professional photos, floor plans, its own website, beautiful brochures, and advertising on social media. Wow! Yes, our property did not happen to sell that first weekend of open houses, but remember this is a townhouse built around 1987, never upgraded, and an open estate (my father’s) to complicate matters. Three weeks from the first open house we had competing bids, and an accepted offer. Six weeks later, the property closed. Could you ask for more? Would I recommend TomazinGoff? Without a doubt!

He always answered or quickly returned my calls. He booked multiple showings at our requests and he got us into our first home fast because he booked showings immediately. Began with attending a couple of different first time home buyer classes they put on in partnership with The Corey Scott Team. These were very informative classes that helped us tremendously in the home buy process. Derek helped us in our search for over a year. We looked at houses what felt like almost every week in that time span. We looked at a wide range of homes, some below what we budgeted, some above and many in our range. We put multiple offers in over that time, only to have it out bid by someone else. Derek always had a positive attitude and demeanor despite how frustrated we were getting with the market. When we went under contract the first time he helped us with finding people for the inspections. He helped us get out of the contract when the inspection turned up multiple significant issues where we couldn't come to an agreement with the sellers on how to handle. Derek continued to help us on the long journey. When he wasn't able to be present to show us a house, someone else from the team would step in and help. When I got concerned about budgeting for specific houses we wanted to put offers on, he was there to help talk me through many of the different costs with very accurate estimates. He really helped ease my mind and confirm we were looking at ones that we could afford. When we went under contract the second time, Derek helped us tremendously along the way. And even after we closed on the house, they have been a great resource for finding contacts for maintenance and renovations. I highly recommend Tomazin Goff Realty!

Selling in a difficult season / uncertain market, Derek had a fantastic read of what we could expect, a very sensible forecast, and a variety of approaches we could take. Based off of his advice, we were comfortable in our informed approach to the market. The TG team was unbelievably flexible in obtaining marketing around our schedule, and really made our house “pop”. Derek provided outstanding guidance for the entire duration of our listing, and based off of his top professionalism, accessibility and honest / thoughtful communication, I could not recommend him highly enough.

Experiencia negativa: Would not recommend working with this agency. Having worked with several agencies in the past, I was appalled by the unprofessionalism our family experienced. We made a cash offer on a house listed by them which should have been smooth. They made mistakes in the contract resulting in us losing a week and having to reschedule contractors, the sellers agent (Derek Goff) was 20 minutes late for the closing, and our family's agent (Sarah Kennedy) did not show up for the final walk through. They were rude to my daughter when confronted with the mistakes in the contract. Very unprofessional. Tried to give 0 starts but unable to post this review unless I give at least one.

She was not an advocate for us as her clients and worked with the sellers agent in a way that I do not feel was ethical. It ended up being a disappointing experience. I would not recommend anyone to work with her or anyone else at Tomazin Goff in the future.

He was great to work with and very patient with us as we tried to hone in on homes within our budget in this crazy market. Experiencia fantástica: I always said to my husband that if we ever sold our home, I'd drive the agent nuts, based on some of the listings I see on line.....typos, bad pics, not relative info about the property, etc. I would expect better than that. I didn't have to drive Derek Goff 'nuts'. The quality of his work was beyond outstanding. The property having its own website, with extremely professional photos, 3D rendering, floor plan, video, typo-free relative info write up, etc., etc., etc.! is amazing. His use of all on line media outlets for advertising. His emails of statistics of how your listing it doing in comparison of your comps was amazing. He was always super responsive to emails, texts or calls with questions. He thoroughness in preparation for the open house and every other aspect of the sale was commendable.
