Experiencia negativa: I am not happy with how I’m being treated at the apartment in Whittier. Unfair manager, when I need something fixed asap she tells me to fix something else first. She also stated ,”if you don’t like living there go you are more then happy to leave”. Also my 2 year old was attacked by one of the tenants dog. And manager stated I was lying. I asked to view the video footage and she has not gotten back to me.

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed and upset that a mgmt company will just toy with you to apply for an apt (bonus driven) only to be denied without speaking to you directly and replying to your emails and text messages. Completely unprofessional and will not recommend this company to anyone. We had a great experience viewing the apt at The Azusan but every interaction after that was poorly managed. Perhaps after this review I will get a live person to speak to me. I won’t get my hopes up.

Experiencia fantástica: I really want to shoutout my property manager Julia at the Del Mar complex. She was super friendly, a great presence at the building, and always sought to maintain a peaceful, respectful, and quiet atmosphere / community. She helped to mediate minor issues I had with other residents (noise complaints, etc) and really upheld property policies and standards. She even helped me get rid of the furniture I didn’t want when I moved out! Lastly, I ended up moving out a week before my intended move out date and she advocated for me to get that last week prorated and returned. I didn’t even ask for that! She was just really thoughtful and considerate. I wish her the best & I’ll miss living there Bekah

Experiencia negativa: Most incompetent and possibly evil company I have ever encountered in my 11 years of renting in LA. They gutted the safety of our building after buying it by leaving doors open and doing slapdash renovations, our building has been broken into 3× in the past week and all the residents are afraid for their lives. the company refuses to do anything or even respond to the most basic requests. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Rosie Sosa has been very helpful since the day we moved in. She stopped by the apartment complex a few days after I moved in and when I address some issues with the unit she was able to get someone to come out and repair the issues right away. I recently brought up how hot the unit had been and Rosie offered solutions right away. When asked if we could get A/C units in the bedrooms, she was able to get those approved by the property owner and sent someone the following day to install them. Rosie has been nothing but helpful!

Experiencia positiva: Updating this review from 5 to 3. When we first moved in, we had many many problems with our apartment that was met quickly by maintenance. One problem we had SINCE moving in was a leaking bathtub. After many maintenance requests and visits, the bathtub still continues to leak. And now, no one seems to care to come anymore.

Experiencia negativa: I'm extremely frustrated with how our former property manager, Yami, handled my recent phone call. We received a notice stating that the management company had changed, so I made the payment to the new company. However, today I received an email notification stating that rent was due at Fair Grove. I reached out to customer service to clarify the situation and confirm that the payment wasn't due, but Yami's response was shockingly unhelpful. She insisted they hadn't sent the notice and said she couldn't assist me. I even pointed out that both the email and their portal clearly indicated that rent was due on 09/01, and that it seemed like a duplicate payment since I'd already paid the new management company. Despite this, her customer service was terrible—she kept interrupting me, saying, "I can't help you with that," and eventually hung up on me. What kind of manager treats a customer like this? It's unfortunate that 1 star is the lowest rating I can give.

Experiencia fantástica: Fix my issues ASAP ! When I called took like a week for the technician to come in to fix three issues.sock was not handling the plug tight any more , in the kitchen he fix the garbage disposal with a brand new one and fix the broke light fixture and the leak from out side ! Do to the rain thank you Abraham and Maria my Landlord your the best,I only called for the new garbage disposal he quickly drove down to Home Depot the get the items for the house I have his number if anybody needs it he was the best ! Experiencia fantástica: I have mixed feelings in writing this review. I wish it was excellent across the board. But it is not. The OSM, Bruce at Belvedere Terrace in Redondo Beach, is doing a great job. He is responsive to tenants requests and keeps us informed. He cares for the tenants and building safety and is very responsible. He address issues promptly to the best of his ability. However, his authority does not allow him to implement changes that would make us safer. Like repairing the security system. This reflects poorly on Fairgrove Mgmt in not getting these repairs executed. The video security cameras have not been working for years. Stuff is stolen regularly. We do not feel safe. I personally have had 2 of my bikes in the garage stolen in the last week. I am concerned for all of us tenants and for the security of our property, especially in the garage that is without a working security video system. Are bikes and other property going to continue to be stolen? What is next: break-ins to our vehicles? Attacks to persons? Please, Fairgrove Mgmnt., take action to address this escalating problem.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a bit concerned when Fairgrove took over the management of my property from a small property management firm. Shortly after Fairgrove took over, a neighbor's tree fell on the house. Matt at Fairgrove has been absolutely fabulous in helping navigate through this whole process. He has been very responsive to calls, emails and texts from me, the insurance company, and the tenants. Experiencia fantástica: I've lived at El Presidio Apartments for over 3 years now and am pleased to say that it has been the best complex I've ever lived in. The neighbors are friendly, the property is quiet, and the property is as secure as can be while living borderline Santa Ana. I've seen this place take a turn for the better in terms of looks and unit quality and I can't help but think that it's due to the Property Manager, Nancy Kitaguchi. Over my time here, I've seen so many great changes such as: the property being re-painted, the pool area revamped, a new gate system installed, and security cameras in place. We're also finally getting our windows replaced! Nancy is always willing to help out from something as small as a neighbor/parking dispute to large repairs. She always seems to be available no matter the time of day. She is also very communicative and keeps us updated on any repairs. A big "Thank You!" to Nancy for making our time at El Presidio a great one!

Experiencia negativa: I have mixed feelings about this property management when it comes to making repairs they work very quickly step in to fix the problem, but if there’s an issue between tenants, such as a noise problem, They’re not Helpful at all, They don’t return calls. Experiencia positiva: I want to give 5 stars but never seem to get great service on maintenance requests. In the most recent request, there was a power outage which cause the outside complex lighting timer needing to be reset. I placed a request on 7/18 and got a reply that they wouldn’t be able to complete it until 7/24. Meanwhile we had no outside lighting at night and it was pitch black in the courtyard for 6 nights. Tech showed up on the 24th and fixed the timer and everything works great now. A previous request to have our toilet fixed did get answered and corrected quickly, I think it was either the same day or next day, we greatly appreciated the quick response on that call. Another request was to get our security gate repaired /replaced, neither of which has happened and that request was about 6 months ago. I’ve lived in this complex for 7 years and have seen at least 3 companies manage my complex of 10 apartments. Fairgrove does at least as good, if not better, than the previous companies. I would just like to have new security gates, but I think has more to do with the owner than the company.

Experiencia fantástica: Abraham, Hiro & Julio, the after hours staff were on it regarding the air conditioner that gave out in my apartment. They were prompt, very nice and made sure we were taken care of with same day service. Today is Monday and since the first review I cannot seem to get anyone to provide me with an update if the air conditioner is being installed today? I've reached out with, asked for an update, with no response as of yet. I've been reaching out since Friday - today. I'm being told I'll get an update, but I do not. I will change my review based on what occurs

Experiencia fantástica: In regards to the service performed by Diego and Hector, I would like to state that I was very pleased with the quickness and efficiency with which Hector worked. He arrived early within the time frame given to us, 10 am-2 pm, and was very helpful with answering any and all questions I had. He quickly dismantled the toilet, carefully carried out the broken pieces, and mounted the new set with care! I would highly recommend his work.

Experiencia positiva: My review is probably a 3.5-4 because I’m not a big fan of the property management company itself. There’s been so much turnover and I don’t even know who our manager is right now. Before, they came to us and introduced themselves to us so we could have a personal connection with them, now no clue who to reach out to and my emails never get answered and are passed around from person to person. Not good managing. However, our maintenance coordinator Diego is great! He’s very responsive with calls, emails and texts. He gets the job done and quick! I’d give the review a 5 if he were our manager. He deserves a 5.

Experiencia fantástica: When new owners took over our building and we changed managers, our building was rat infested and in complete disrepair. To their credit, the new owners were willing to invest in significant repairs. However, that caused a lot of disruption, and for a long time we had no on-site manager. Now with Bruce as an on-site manager repair requests are dealt with quickly. He has worked to make sure that our building is safe and clean. A lot of the small things really make a difference, like making sure the call box at the front of the building is properly labeled and working, trash is picked up, making sure packages aren't stolen from the front, etc. Not to mention helping my daughter get in when she forgot her key.

Experiencia fantástica: We were having issues with our apartment and I reached out the after hours department over the weekend, the whole team was prompt and thorough, on Monday Julio had reached out and had a maintenance team on the job as fast as needed. Experiencia positiva: Five stars for Bruce the property manager at Belvedere Terrace. I’ve lived in many different complexes and he is by far the most attentive and communicative PM I’ve ever had. He takes his job seriously and cares about the tenants. The reason I took 1 star off is because the property is constantly undergoing emergency plumbing and the water is always shut off. I wish fairgrove could actually fix the issue instead of “duct taping” for a temporary solution.

Experiencia negativa: Not really fair about anything so must change name and complains about everything as well paying almost the 3000$ and fells like were living in mouse cage cant do anything at all must be super quite can't even make BBQ in our patio don't waste your money people they don't fix any of the problems right they don't allow you to use your patio even though it's yours and all the apartments have them located in santa ana

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible company to deal with. They are scammers, rude, entitled, and they feel like a futile position such as maintenance dictates that they’re able to tell any resident what they can do, and yell at them too. The company enables the employees to treat the residence rudely, even though the residents are the ones that keep them in business. We lived in our unit for a year before this management took over, it was absolutely great BEFORE. It was well-maintained and clean complex. When they took over, they repaired some stuff so we thought it was gonna be good, then they started renting out to the worst people, they would let anything slide as long as it doesn’t touch their pockets. For example, loud music, trash everywhere, that’s fine. But if you plant a tree, warning one (cause water costs). First problem is that they raise the rent by $200, in one year, and the apartment was already at a high price. They also, change the policy where any repairs, even plumbing, backing up, or anything, has to be paid by the tenant. Windows not working, bad faucet, all billed to the tenant. We just moved out last month and they billed everything even tho the manager said “don’t worry about it”. The manager was useless and completely fake. She would say one thing then change her mind. Complete liar. Always always get it in writing. **For a tenant, avoid this company at all costs. Your apartment will go down, the neighborhood will all suffer from it, and you’ll be left with neighbors that hate their lives and want to move out. **For property owners, if you hire them you’re just gonna be faced with LOSS. You have apartments that are going to devalue because of how bad they’re gonna get rundown, unhappy tenants, and vacancies all the time. The cheap repair they hire wears out so fast. And the lack of knowledge in how to actually fix or find a solution constitutes higher costs as there are more errors. All repairs are temporary and never hit the actual issue. We’ve never experienced as much vacancies as we did with them. The units are empty for over two months after they get fixed, which is a three month loss at a minimum, and if they do rent it out, people don’t stay there long because of a selfish management. All this said, I’m holding back on a lot. They deserve a much lower rating than 1 star. Gutter class management company that turns homes into skid row.

Experiencia negativa: Fairgrove Property Management is a rebranding of Sullivan Property management, because their reputation was in the gutter. Nothing has changed outside of the name, so please read the Sullivan reviews for an accurate impression...

Experiencia fantástica: Gino was very patient with my mother when helping her set up her portal and how to pay there, he even gave her his extension so she could contact him directly if she needed more help, which I thought was a very nice gesture!

Experiencia negativa: Beware: I was robbed of my security deposit for $300 some months ago and now have heard from an old neighbor she experienced the same. No loyalty to long term loyal renters. Left the unit in top shape after 4 days of cleaning.
