When I first reached out, overwhelmed before having even begun, Doriane made time for a 1-1, in-depth informational session tailored to my housing needs. She was courteous and patient throughout, despite my many questions and unclear time horizon, and I came away not just reassured (or with personalized market research), but also with the knowledge that I was working with someone conscientious who genuinely wanted the best for me. When it arrived, it was through Doriane securing a private showing for a “coming soon” listing, having picked up immediately that this condo would not last long on the market. And she was right, because it was the one for me. There were some challenges with the sellers, and here Doriane was persistent in advocating for me and my interest (through a holiday weekend no less), and kept me constantly informed. She stayed with me through the whole stressful, whirlwind process that is homebuying, and when I signed on the dotted line, it really felt like I had some one rooting for me at the finish line. Kind and hardworking people like this are rare, and so when you see the five stars, I mean it five times over. I’ll be recommending her and Vesta to everyone I can.

If you had told me two years ago that selling my brother’s condo after his death and then doing a major rehab of his house and then selling both properties without a clear closing date because we needed Probate Court approval could have been a process that involved emotional support, understanding, and humor as well as incredible expertise, efficiency, wisdom, attention to detail and creativity I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But it’s true. If you would have told me that I’d look forward to getting emails and texts from my realtors and I’d start using fun emojis in writing back I would have thought …. I don’t think so!….but it’s true. If you had told me that both properties would sell above asking price or just about at it I would have been happy…and they did. If you had told me that I would have a little visit to my brothers beautiful rehabbed house for his Holliston friends — a kind of memorial since we hadn’t had a service because of Covid — and that both Liz and Ed would come I would have been touched and honored, and they did come. They understand that rehabbing and selling a house isn’t just a practical or economic project — it’s also emotional and even spiritual (as it was for me). Our houses contain our stories and memories and I felt that Luz and Ed helped me honor my brothers memory and story while they simultaneously did a fabulous job of rehabbing and selling the house. I’d ask them to sell my house except I live in central PA. Maybe I’ll move to Holliston.

We chose Vesta because we knew we wanted to stay in town and we also knew this is a challenging market to find a house in a small town like Holliston, so we figured that staying with a local realtor would benefit us. We had a few friends that used Vesta as well and they were very pleased with the service. We knew the process would be stressful but it was so much less than expected thanks to the amazing service we received. Communication was great through the whole process. We went with their recommendations on lawyers and mortgage brokers and just like with Vesta, we got some great people that were a pleasure to work with and hit all their deadlines. We were able to sell our house for over asking and closed on our dream home the next day.
