We listed our home with Miriam after knowing her personally through her leadership at the Closter Food Pantry. People may caution you against listing with a friend but nothing could be less of a risk with Miriam. She is a consummate professional who is able to provide guidance and direction and if you trust her opinions, you will have a wonderful outcome. Our house was a bit of a unicorn - 100+ years old with a 20 yr old major addition, in-ground pool and koi pond. Not what everyone is looking for, for sure! Together, we had agreed on a comfortable price to list it and the morning before the listing went live, Miriam suggested a higher number based on the activity she was seeing in the market those last two weeks. It was still a reasonable price and our goal was to get at least two offers. We went with Miriam’s recommendation, listed the house and went out of state with our dog for a week. Miriam hosted showings Thursday, Friday, Saturday with an Open House Sunday and by Tuesday we had FOUR OFFERS ABOVE ASKING and we were good to go!
