Experiencia negativa: Lana was the listing agent for our recent home purchase. Having been through this process a few times, you learn that there’s always nuances to communication that perhaps aren’t always ideal. However, a lack of integrity and ethics is unacceptable. Since we’ve purchased our home being sold by Lana, the laundry list of issues is too long to list. In fairness, some of the issues Lana wouldn’t have known about, but when asking “was the home smoked in, we have an asthmatic child” to be told “only cigars in the garage on poker night” of which progressed to needing to replace all of the floors and add new paint and learning from neighbors that the owners were in fact chain smokers. Perhaps Lana should also start a company to temporarily and deceptively cover up smoke smells. At final walk through animal waste was left everywhere and we didn’t notice a crack in the kitchen sink. When questioned after closing you’d think a reasonable and considerate person might say “let’s figure it out, clearly you shouldn’t need to replace your kitchen sink”, however, we were met with “well you shouldn’t have closed”. Who does that? I will say she helped do a wonderful job staging the home. Buyer beware to look past the staging and not trust her commentary at face value.
