So why not call him again in January when we wanted to update and upgrade to something newer and more opened up? Over 25+ years, my wife and I have bought and sold a number of homes. Our experience with Jordan was the most friendly and professional of all of our transactions. Jordan spent time with us up front explaining his process in detail and how some of his special touches would yield a fast sale and a maximum price. He said he almost always has an offer accepted within a week of listing. In our price point, and with interest rates higher than they have been for many years, I was skeptical. However, he delivered! When a specific house came on the market that we wanted to buy, we called Jordan and asked how quickly we could get our own house on the market. Jordan said he could be at our house that same day! Within three days he had staged, photographed, and listed our house. Two days later, we had 13 offers on our house, accepted one for well over listing price, and made an offer on our dream house -- and got it accepted!! Throughout the whole process, Jordan was so positive and encouraging, even though we knew we were asking for the near-impossible. He talked us through potential realistic outcomes and didn't over-promise, but he also worked tirelessly that week to give us the best possible chance to sell our house and make a solid offer on the new one. He talked us through the benefits and risks of building new vs. buying an existing home, and things to be aware of during the process. He helped us negotiate the land transaction, and then gave us advice about builders in the area that could be a good fit for us. We couldn't be happier with the way everything came together because of Jordan's help. When it came time to move into our new home, he was our agent for selling the house we had owned. His energy experience, and professionalism as the listing agent for my mothers house resulted in a sold home with money in the bank in less than 1 month and we received nearly 6% over our asking price. Results, they speak for themselves. Jordan set the tone for our sale immediately. I contacted him in the morning and he met with me that afternoon. I could tell right away during the interview that he was excited to take on our project. The next day his team was out at the property preparing it for sale. There was some painting that needed done and some overall cleaning etc. Afterwards they brought in contemporary furniture and accents to really show off the place. By the open house the home looked fantastic! The first weekend brought in 6 offers. Jordan’s knowledge of the process, the financing types, closing times, various costs, etc. was clearly demonstrated when he sat down with me and my mother and patiently explained all the pros and cons of each offer helping us to make the best decision on which offer to accept. His knowledge of homes, ability to see how things were built/added/finished, provides buyers with context for what may go wrong down the road, what could be worthwhile to negotiate, what may get flagged during inspection, and/or what kind of ballpark expenses may be needed. Doing a walkthrough with Jordan is essentially a home inspection. There’s no “selling”, only clarity, context and knowledge. On a personal note, it’s delightful to see how curious Jordan is to explore a home. It’s a genuine interest for him and that makes for a wonderful home viewing experience for the buyers. You always walk away from any home with considerations you weren’t aware of going in. Helps you approach an offer with a clear head of what is great and what will need attention and even money. On the buying experience - Jordan was very upfront with where the market was at and very recent shifts (we bought in Aug ‘21). His love for communication and negotiation means you will always have the upper hand in submitting an offer and throughout the negotiation process. Both our purchases with Jordan (‘09 and ‘21) went very well. On the selling experience - Jordan was excellent at walking through our property with us and giving us a prioritized list of things to tackle before listing. Staging was easy. Jordan was transparent and honest with the buyer’s realtor so both sides were buying and selling with their eyes wide open. It made for a great experience. We’ve now purchased two homes using Jordan and just had our first home sale with Jordan. In the years between homes we’ve brought Jordan back to the house to look at a kitchen remodel and talk about some of the decisions that would add value, and we also had him review some substantial remodel plans and provide advice/feedback.
