Per there response: I called and specifically asked for an alternate to giving a credit card and your staff told me "I don't think we will be a good fit" and hung up on me. Get your story straight, I still would NOT trust this company.

While we had visited the Asheville area in the past and knew generally where we wanted to live, we thought not being on-site was going to be a challenge. And with the hot market we couldn't just jump in a car and drive 12 hours to look at a house. (I tried once, and the market was so hot that one of the two homes I was going to look at was already under contract) Enter Al to the rescue, gave him a call and immediately felt comfortable. Al was highly recommended to me by a friend in the real estate market in Asheville who does not do property management. I have a home in West Asheville (but presently live up North)and Al did a great job in vetting the perfect tenant and it was a smooth leasing process. Al was always able to respond in a very timely manner to the tenants needs, and to troubleshot any minor or major problems that arose. By major I mean when a tree falls on the house during a storm in the middle of the night (no one was hurt). Al responded to the tenant's call immediately. I was contacted pre-dawn by Al of the situation. He even took some pictures of what he could with no light. Al had the roof tarped and the broken window board up within hours. Al had heaters in the house that day due to damage to the HVAC system. Al was there every step of the way with the repair process. Starting with meeting with the adjuster from the insurance company, sending me photos, texts and emails of the work being done by the restoration company. He treated my house as if it was his own. He is very honest, considerate, professional with the right balance of friendliness. I would recommend Al to anyone needing to rent out a house and have him as your property manager.

We interviewed several listing agents. But top on our list was Al. Although I have known all personally and professionally for many years I asked him to come give a listing presentation so we could compare what he offered to others. It wasn't even close. Picking Al after hearing his presentation would have been the only way to go, even if we had never known him before hand.
