Experiencia fantástica: I had my house listed with another agent, nice guy but nothing was happening. I turned to Collin O'Berry who very quickly began an aggressive marketing plan. As an older woman, I so appreciated his energy and solid knowledge of social media marketing. I won't pretend that I understood all of what he did but my son in law, a real estate trainer in another state, did understand and told me he is at the top of his game. All I know is that after having my property languish for months, he sold it in 120 days. He was immediately available and inspired confidence. I then found a new place to buy, the sellers wanted to close very quickly (the day after my house sold) and Ella Tzinberg helped me as my buyer's agent. We had little experience with the area, but we were very specific in what we were looking for in property. (we were looking for a unicorn!:) Having a lot of real estate experience in Florida, I knew we needed to find the right realtor to help guide us with our purchase. Collin lived up to everything I had hoped we would find in a realtor and then some. Within a 20 minute phone conversation, meet and greet, and a better understanding of what we were searching for. It was evident he was our guy! He immediately helped narrow down a search. I booked a flight, we looked at several properties starting with the one I sort of dismissed. He saw value in it, and wanted us to start there. Collin having a great deal of local knowledge in the neighborhoods, real estate, zoning, Development, and with the City of Asheville in general. You know that just because you find the property you've been looking for. This doesn't mean everything else will go smoothly. Sometimes you may even have to walk away empty-handed. This is where it becomes very important to have the right realtor representing you. Collin negotiated near 25% off the asking price, held strong with the timeframe we needed, and terms. Then during our due diligence. He knew what needed to be done and when, he knew solutions to problems and how to address them before they even surfaced. Collin was helpful in recommending contractors, a law firm, and other companies to help us with our inspections. He even had some great recommendations for restaurants and attractions not to miss while we were in town! There are many more great things I could note about our experience with Collin.
