We only had a few opportunities to visit the city, so Beth set up more than half a dozen showings of houses where she would connect with us on zoom and walk through the house with us, or if the internet connection was bad, she would take videos and send them to us. It takes a lot of trust in your realtor to work this way, but Beth earned that trust over and over! We were first time home buyers and she provided a lot of insight and information in a way that was really helpful and didn't make us feel foolish for not knowing already. She was a huge resource to us through the entire process and would be very clear that she wouldn't tell us what to do, but she'd offer several recommendations and the logic behind each. One of the things that I most appreciated about Beth was the way she took time to really understand what we were looking for in a home. Our first meeting with her, we looked at three very different houses so she could get a sense of what we wanted. I had interviewed another real estate broker who, after 30 minutes, declared she knew exactly what house I'd buy, booked us a showing and then spent the showing pointing out only positive things about the house and glossing over my concerns about the space. Every house Beth stepped into with us (or with us on zoom), she was pointing out attributes but also concerns and giving us real views on how easily those concerns could be addressed (or not).
