Experiencia negativa: In September 2024, I reached out to the Cary Team and was contacted by Daniel Hurja. Initially, things seemed fine. I provided links to homes I liked, most of which were built by D.R. Horton. Daniel initially stated he didn't work with Horton but agreed to help me view the homes after contacting their sales rep. Daniel stated that a final walkthrough should happen at least three days before closing. As the date neared, I reached out multiple times to schedule, but I received no response. I ended up guessing and booked my travel. We finally settled on a date, but Daniel texted me last-minute, saying he wouldn't attend the initial walkthrough because he was attending a retreat. Before this , I sense he didn't want to do a walkthrough as he tried talking me out of doing it. This felt unprofessional, especially since I had planned my trip around it. During our conversation, Daniel seemed uninterested in helping with important details, like setting up internet or security, despite being paid 3%. After my initial walkthrough with the builder, Daniel texted me asking about issues. I didn’t feel like engaging in texting when he had been absent. I told him we would meet on the day of closing. On the final walkthrough day, Daniel tried to stall and asked if I had wired the money for closing at exactly 9 AM, even though we'd been sitting there for a while. He also warned me that the closing might take all day, despite having everything prepared. When I arrived later again at the Title company, I felt the energy from Daniel was negative, and I told him not to come, but he showed up anyway. As we sat there I told him that he was bad luck and asked him to leave. The experience with Daniel, combined with my lender, was frustrating and stressful. Home buying should be exciting, but I felt like I did most of the work myself. Daniel’s lack of assistance, such as not even being able to recommend an internet provider, was disappointing. I felt mentally drained by this whole process and would not recommend him. I’m sharing this review on both links for the Cary Team so no one else has to go through this especially fellow Combat Veterans.
