Experiencia fantástica: In late February we found out that we needed to relocate from Washington, DC to Rhode Island as my husband matched to a clinical site in Warwick. We ultimately decided that it made the most sense to settle down and leave apartment-living in favor of buying our first house. We very quickly spoke to multiple realtors and had found Brooke on March 3, 2026. We were instantly impressed with Brooke's professionalism, clear industry knowledge, and personable nature. In talking to other realtors, it just did not feel "right," but we knew instantly when meeting Brooke that she was the one! Before finding Brooke we were very overwhelmed with the process of both being first-time homebuyers and moving out of state, but Brooke made the process so manageable. As we were out-of-state, our first day of touring houses was Brooke Facetiming us from the property! This was super helpful and convenient for us! Additionally, what we appreciated most on this day was as we went through a particular home, Brooke was very honest about all of the issues and financial costs associated with fixing up certain aspects of the house. We made clear from the start that we were open to doing some renovation but that we did not have the financials and bandwidth to purchase a house that required lots of money to fix it up. Toward the end of the tour, Brooke was honest with us and expressed that she thought the home had too many big ticket items that needed to be replaced (which were things we could not see from the photos online). We were feeling the same way during the tour and felt so much better knowing Brooke was on the same wavelength as us! A week later we saw a home online that we were very interested in seeing and decided to last-minute drive up to see it. Even though this was very last-minute, Brooke was able to make it work with her schedule to take us to three open houses. Ultimately, the house we thought would be for us was not the one. The one we ultimately purchased was one where the open house times did not work with our schedule, and Brooke was able to work with the agent to stay late so that we could see the house on the one day we were in town! We instantly fell in love with a new-ish build that checked all of our must-haves and nearly all items on our wish list. She walked us through making a competitive offer and the same day we submitted our offer, it was accepted! This was only three weeks after we first connected with Brooke!! At the start of the process, we were definitely a little nervous about finding a house within the timeframe we had to relocate and ended up having no issues with that thanks to Brooke! Throughout the whole process, before making an offer and after our offer was accepted, Brooke was readily available to answer all of our questions and explained each part of the process with great detail. With her on our team, it was seamless to get to closing day with no issues! We are immensely grateful for Brooke and are so happy we found her! Without question, when we are ready to sell our first home and purchase our next in 5-10 years, we will be reaching back out to Brooke! One of the questions I asked her when we were seeking an agent to represent us was: "Will you have enough bandwidth to support us, given that you are a top 1.5% performing agent in the state?" I was impressed by how prepared she was for our first time buyers intro meeting, but I worried that she must be too busy. Alas, no. She said to us she had a proven system and that she'd always be there for us. Her word meant something and she proved it to us. After that, she recommended a great team of people, from lenders, to insurance agents, lawyers, inspectors, contractors, etc. The team we chose made all the difference. We had a short timeline to find a house. We met Brooke on February 18 and Closed on our house April 2 - 43 total days, extraordinary. To accomplish that Brooke made time for short notice showings and open houses. She also showed up at the house three consecutive days to meet contractors she procured herself who could give repair estimates for us to negotiate closing costs with the seller. Thanks to that and Brooke's savvy negotiating strategy, we were able to get the house $5K under asking price with and additional $5K closing credits. At the day of our closing, I was surprised to see her carrying gift bags to our lawyer's office. Brooke had gotten my husband, my daughter's and I each a thoughtful and personalized gift. My two y/o daughter who was with us for a house showing now thinks of her as auntie Brooke. And after she held my newborn baby at another showing, I like to think of her as a friend. Thankfully, we were able to connect with Brooke on Instagram and she immediately took us under her wing. As we just recently sold our home, I will share highlights of that experience here: we decided to sell our first home during what is considered the "off-season" in real estate (October), where Brooke not only assisted us with recommendations on staging our home and upgrades to make, but also came prepared with a professional photographer and outstanding marketing material to truly make our home stand out in the marketplace. After our first weekend's open house showing, we received an offer that ultimately fell through post-inspection, and Brooke was amazing with keeping our hopes up and preparing additional open-house showings (I believe we did 2 additional weekend showings) until we received an even BETTER offer (over asking price) and a rather quick closing, with our closing date finalizing towards the end of December. My husband and I were looking to move to the East Bay from the Boston area and despite both of our mothers being realtors in MA were in need of a RI licensed realtor. I found Brooke on Instagram and being a younger millennial loved her social content and was impressed with her experience and knowledge. It took us about 4 months to find our home which consisted of us driving from Boston to RI every single weekend to look at different properties. Brooke joined us nearly every weekend to attend multiple open houses and when necessary private showings. Having Brooke with us as we viewed houses was invaluable as she truly is a wealth of knowledge. She has lived all over RI herself and was able to share a lot of info about the different neighborhoods we were viewing. Coming from Boston her insight was extremely helpful as we were still familiarizing ourselves with RI. On top of that Brooke has a really great demeanor when viewing houses. She isn't pushy at all and we found she often waited to see our reaction or asked us questions that would give her a sense of what we were thinking without her putting her own thoughts and opinions on us. We never felt rushed or pressured to make an offer and we could tell it was important for Brooke to understand what we valued in a home. Brooke is also very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of home design and maintenance/care and was able to point out plusses or minuses when it came to how a house was cared for. In this crazy market it took us 8 offers to get an acceptance and Brooke helped us craft each offer to be competitive until we landed in the home we were meant to be in. We will use her for all of our future buying or selling needs and would recommend her to anyone!
