Experiencia negativa: I tried working with this company to view a rental unit. I was repeatedly passed around to four different realtors. When they sent me to the original person I contacted, they then told me the apartment had already been leased (was posted yesterday morning and all communication I had with them was within 24 hours). Incredibly frustrating to lose out on an apartment because the team kept passing me off and nobody would help.

She was professional but persistent and offered us the advice of including, in our counter offer, that their buyer will buy, regardless of sale of their property. An excellent suggestion that helped us weed out a potentially bad situation.

Experiencia negativa: Virginia brown was abysmal. Called her at 7pm a week and a half ago she told me to call her the next day to discuss my needs more in depth, perfectly reasonable. I call her the next day and it was as if she forgot the whole conversation even though she assured me she wrote everything down. I call her Friday the 15th to set up a viewing for Wednesday the 22nd at 230 after telling her that I would 8-5 and that it is hard for me to get out of my job early. However for this listing I was willing to be flexible. Today, the 20th, I call her to tell her we are going to be late. She doesn’t answer the first time so I leave her a message. She calls back a few minutes later to tell me the apartment had been claimed two days ago. No confirmation call today and never notified me that the apartment had been claimed so I left work in Quincy to meet someone in Winthrop and had I not been running late, would have ended up wasting more of my time listening to her beat around the bush. Highland real estate I’m sure is probably fine, but this experience will ensure that I don’t come back.

We interviewed other brokerages but their knowledge of the local market and confidence in being able to sell at a higher price than we were quoted elsewhere was why we listed with her. After viewing the unit it was suggested to us to market the unit as a potential two bedroom unit, thereby commanding a higher price was the type of knowledge and guidance we needed in a difficult time. Within 3 days of the condo hitting the market, we had several offers, some over our asking price! I would highly recommend Chrissy and Highland R.E. when considering the sale of your property!

So, when it came time for us to move on to a new home in New Mexico, it was only natural that we thought of no one else to handle the sale of our condo. We wanted to avoid the possibility of having to live in a hotel and move our belongings into storage, so we bought our new home before selling our condo. We listed our condo on March 1st, closed on our new home on March 15th, moved in on March 25th, and closed on the Winthrop condo on April 28th. We couldn’t have asked for better timing. Once again, Cathie listened to our wishes, and went well beyond our expectations.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible. Completely unprofessional both when looking for apartments/houses and when you leave. Only one of the three staff members I spoke with was friendly but that turned sour when things didn't go her way. They don't care about their clients. They only care if they can make the sale or not. Very impatient, blunt, and completely rude. I'm glad I never have to deal with them again. If you are interested in looking somewhere in Winthrop. Perhaps the Century 21 Seacoast would be a better bet.
