Experiencia fantástica: My fiancé and I had just started our home search in New Jersey when we were connected with Matt. We scheduled a house tour with him and although there were a lot of interested buyers there with us, Matt made sure we didn’t rush through it. He made note of things around the house to be aware of and was super personable with the listing agent. Matt spent plenty of time getting to know us, our situation, and thoughts on the home. Never once did Matt try to push us in a direction to either continue looking or submit an offer. But, we loved the house so much we decided to make an offer (it was our first)! Matt walked us through all the different angles we could take and made sure all bases were covered. However, we did have some road blocks. Long story short: my fiancé owns another home and I don’t have the best credit, so securing a loan without a home sale contingency was proving to be very tricky. We thought we secured one, but were fed the wrong information. Thankfully, Matt quickly connected us to a Lender he was familiar with and we got a loan! We soon after put an offer down, but we were informed we were outbid. Matt said something along the lines of “crazier things have happened, it might fall through and they’ll accept backup offers.” Well, he put that good juju in the air and after a second offer was submitted, we got the house! We’ve been here for a little over a month and are happy to say we have no buyer’s remorse. I don’t think just any real estate agent could’ve helped us. Matt’s ability to build connections, negotiate and know the ins and outs of the real estate game from a 360 view is what helped us secure the home of our dreams.
