Experiencia negativa: Very uncommunicative. Very disrespectful. I’m highly disappointed. Scheduled a viewing with them and they said they’d be there at Noon. Took time off work to go to the viewing and nobody showed. Nobody responded to my texts. When I called I got immediately sent to voicemail. I spent 45 minutes today hopeful about a new apartment to only be completely ignored by this company. I will go out of my way to avoid doing any business with them in the future.

Experiencia negativa: Just horrible. Did a surprise inspection in December, checklists the discrepancies and it's been ten months and nothing has been fixed. Texted me and stated that they would do another inspection on the place four months ago and haven't showed up. They should be called bankers cause all they want is money they don't wanna help you or the property.

Experiencia negativa: The design of this organizations process makes it impossible for local Montanans to qualify for housing. They base qualification on a credit score that is far higher than the average Montanan. If you rent from Veritas Property Management you are first hand in adding to the crippling housing crisis in Missoula P.S. If you leave a negative review, no matter how objective, they will reply and publicly release your private financial information.

Experiencia negativa: Overall, very poor experience with Veritas over the 2 years we lived with them for. Starting off in July of 2020 when we moved in, Erin (who no longer works for Veritas) was great and we had nothing but good interactions with her. A few months in, as usual for most renters, we had some maintenance requests. Veritas will argue, but no matter the emergence, your maintenance request will not even be looked at for weeks, let alone fixed. When we moved out, we had an active maintenance request from April 6th, 2021. We also got charged for this when we moved out in July 2022.. The whole company is corrupt. Not a single person at this company is reliable or respectful. They are extremely nice when you first move in, of course because they gain money. Once you live there for more than a few months, you are ignored, and invalidated in EVERYTHING you say or do. They are extremely repetitive offenders of giving way less than 24 hours’ notice for any maintenance, and terrible communication. Example: leaving a piece of paper with a single piece of scotch tape on your front door letting you know you owe $30 extra dollars each month for “admin fees”, no text or email until WE reached out questioning. There is absolutely no professionalism within this company. Move out week soon came, which was the worst overall experience. Allison was extremely rude on the phone, when she was late for our move out inspection at 4pm. I called multiple times at 4:30 wondering where she was, until she picked up and verbally screamed “CAN YOU STOP CALLING ME, IM DRIVING???!!!!” as if I were supposed to know she was leaving work at 4:30 when their hours are till 5pm Friday. Second, how was I to know she was driving, and third SHE set up the time to meet, not me. As you could assume, we lost 41% of our deposit. Not to add we were charged for a $150 (each) for a trash removal fee when it was our neighbors trash, but we still paid our $30 a month trash fee for that month so even if it was, not sure how that one works. We did not even want to attempt to argue our deposit back. So here I am writing this review, hoping to prevent future people from being stripped of their money, energy, and time from this horrific company. Good luck!

Experiencia positiva: The people in the office and property manager Allison was wonderful at answering our questions! Heads up to anyone renting outside of Missoula: they do require EVERYTHING to be conducted in person. We ended up seeing a 2 bedroom house, but it was actually a small 1 bedroom home (the landlord had failed to tell them). Lots of things wrong with the place that seemed to be a surprise to Allison. Allison was very honest and upfront about it, the landlord seemed greedy so we decided against the property (construction going on in the back for another unit, was told there might be a decrease in rent only to find out it was the same listed price). My only huge issue with the process was it took a week+ for us to hear back about our application. Although they did tell us they like to wait until they get a good pool of applicants (10+), this is hard when you need a rental asap or have a strict time-line. Overall, I probably would contact them to rent a property in the future!

Even with the way rent has been skyrocketing in town Veritas has kept our rate at a very reasonable level. Allison, you are the best thanks for making our lives easier!

Experiencia fantástica: I've spoke with Allison over the phone a few times and she has been so helpful, sweet, and understanding about the anxiety that comes with finding a rental in the current market. And she hasn't acted the least bit annoyed when I keep calling and checking in about a property. I wouldn't be able to say that about any other property management companies I've dealt with. Fingers crossed that we are approved!

My lovely property manager, Allison, sat down with me and took the time to read/explain the lease contract word for word. She was very kind yet straight forward and was open to answering any and all questions. It’s very noticeable that the property management company as a whole prefers smooth sailing through good communication with tenants. I haven’t been able to say that about another property management company yet, so I’m excited to be in the hands of Veritas!

They worked around my work schedule when they didn't have to in order to get me a viewing of the property and explained everything to the best of their ability. Experiencia fantástica: It could have went better I went to give them a check for our applications fees and nobody was in the office except several big dogs . then when I went to find a different entrance I started to fall down the stairs and grabbed a bush to keep from falling and cut my hand up and due to my several health conditions I'm extremely sore today. But please everyone know that it has NOTHING !!!! To do with the employees or owners of VERITAS I've yet to meet them in person but they were very nice and helpful and considerate so for how wonderful they treated me on the phone I will give them 4 stars I WANTED TO UPDATE MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. WE WERE ACCEPTED FOR THE CUTE LITTLE HOUSE WE WERE APPLYING FOR ABD THE GALS AT VERITAS HAVE BEEN JUST WONDERFUL AND ARE SO CARING THEY HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE OUR MOVE WAS AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE. Experiencia negativa: I've never had a worse property management experience. After renting for nearly a decade, always paying my rent on time, fixing up many of the issues with the rental on my own dime, they increased my rent by $500 with one month's notice (the absolute minimum). They failed to fix my leaking roof despite numerous requests over a year. They brought unmasked people into my apartment during COVID, routinely failed to give 24 hours notice, and didn't fix numerous other problems. Similar issues were shared by most of my neighboring tenants. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from them.

Experiencia negativa: Do not use these people. My girlfriend and I found a place with misleading pictures but scheduled a time with them to view an apartment and then payed for application. We tried contacting them the day that we were scheduled but they would not pick up their phone at all or even call us back or reply to emails. We found the apartment and got there at the time they told us to come and it was very misleading from the pictures. Also the apartment was already occupied and they did not even bother to let us know to cancel our appointment. We both took off work and drove 1 hr to view this apartment and they totally wasted our time. I would not recommend them at all!

Experiencia positiva: When I noticed a certain property had been posted, I immediately called, emailed and sent a message from their website about my interest. The posting had only been up for a small amount of time (think 1 hour) so I was optimistic. I received no contact back. I finally called again the next day. I was informed they already had several applications and were removing the house from available. I was frustrated because of the competitive nature of rentals and I knew that I had reached out in a timely manner. Erin agreed to open it back up so we could apply which was lovely. We waited and waited to hear back only to find out the house had been sold. We had passed up other properties waiting for this one and were bummed. They refunded our application fee immediately.

I'm moving for work and all the other companies in town are crazy busy and really dont care if they have your business or not whereas this company is a smaller company and busy as well but willing to actually take the time to talk to you and show you a property instead of just sliding you under the rug. Very appreciative of them. Although I prefer conducting business via phone calls but it was tough to reach anyone via phone. But with email and texts I got prompt responses so theres that.

They quickly found the perfect tenants for our house. Since then, we've been able to enjoy consistent updates about our property, along with the rent checks on a monthly basis. Their maintenance service is also amazing! This company really tries to keep costs low, which is higly appreciated. Sonia always checks in with us about any necessary repairs before sending maintenance out. So there is never a surprise on our rental statements, which we value and appreciate. We've always felt 100% comfortable with this team managing our investment property and will definitely renew our contract next year. Thank you Veritas Property Management!

Veritas always informes us about anything that goes on with our property and keeps us in the loop. Their regular inspections make me feel very at ease. Also, the tenants seem very happy as well, which is always a plus! Maintenance is always on point and very corteous. Best of all, this property management isn't loaded with tons of hidden fees and charges. Experiencia fantástica: I've read the other reviews, and I will agree that there was an ex employee that wasn't very easy to deal with and she was very rude. However even while she worked there, other employees still took care of any concerns we had at that time. Every company will have an employee at some time or another who is not a good fit for their company. Veritas still remained professional and always has since then. All of the office staff have been so friendly, personable, and went out of their way many times to help us. Their new maintenance man is also very efficient and honestly cares about his quality of work and the tenants. I would still be renting from Veritas if it wasn't for needing to be in a specific school zone for my child.

My friend and I recently moved across the country with a horrible welcome when it came to finding an apartment/dealing with property companies. We were blessed to come across Veritas. The apartment we rented out is affordable, BRAND new/gorgeous, and thankfully pet friendly! We worked with a very nice lady from Veritas through the entire process. She always returned phone calls, was very patient, understanding and answered ALL our questions. She was even more than happy to help us when her work day was over!! They actually care about you as a tenant and customer! I would reccommend Veritas a hundred times over. You won't be dissapointed.

Experiencia negativa: The worst rental company ever. Elizabeth the Property Manager is rude and belligerent. They are keeping my deposit when the house is in perfect condition. They never in 3 years did any repairs or maintenance. Sprinkler system never worked and grass died. Recorded the problem on the original paperwork. They never repaired it. Trying to charge me for lawn damage. There is a huge drainage problem in the neighborhood. Never took care of any reported problems.
