Experiencia fantástica: My home-buying experience was truly exceptional. As an out-of-state buyer unfamiliar with the Carmel area, Mel’s expertise and dedication made the entire process seamless. Through phone calls, texts, and emails we were able to narrow down the search enough that in one trip I was able to find the exact property my husband and I had in mind. And this will be news to Mel, so I hope she reads this review :), but I had actually contacted several realtors in the area regarding different properties I thought we might be interested in, and Mel was the only one who took the time to really listen to what we wanted, who actually researched other properties that she thought we would like, who actually called on properties to ensure what we wanted was available/on the property. Once we had a signed contract, her team was so helpful throughout the closing process. I highly recommend this company for all your real estate needs- I honestly couldn’t imagine using anyone else!

We were thrust into clearing out, cleaning, updating and selling a family member’s property after their death and Mel and team became a critical part of every step of that process. They found us trash removal services, HVAC/plumbers, ceiling repair artists (yes, they were that good at ceiling texture matching), painters and more. Mel and team were able to get us top dollar on the sale of the property AND charged fair prices for the clean/repair services they provided. And while this likely isn’t a core of their business, they provided much needed creative solutions and support during a tough time in our family and in a situation we knew little about. We will use Coutz & Co. when we sell our property after the kids graduate.

She helped us get our home ready for sale and picked out things that needed to be done prior to sale. She had the house priced right on and we sold to the first buyer! We did have some negotiation difficulties and problems with the other persons realtor, however we were able to resolve these issues and the house eventually went to the original buyers. Mary Jane kept us posted and helped us every stage of the way. Mary Jane also stood firm on the price and we closed in a timely manner. She is extremely knowledgeable and and great communicator! Just the best!! She helped us find our empty nest home and took care of every detail advising us in our purchase. She is patient and helpful when you are looking at homes.
