Experiencia fantástica: Kirk Realty was awesome! My wife and I were tenants for 2 years with Kirk, and had a great experience. Cory was super helpful when we had any issues arise with the property. We appreciated the communication and responsiveness of Cory, and would highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I would NEVER recommend renting from Kirk Realty Group. We lived in one of their properties at 5077 Gunston Ln., and after major water damage, their lack of proper remediation left our home contaminated and unsafe. Restoration One (their chosen contractor) cut wood inside the house, filling the HVAC system with sawdust and ultimately contributing to high levels of mold. I made my concerns known early on, and was told the HVAC system would be cleaned when the job was done—but that never happened. Since then, I’ve suffered from serious health issues. My doctor ordered mold testing, which came back extremely high. The home also tested high for mold, especially in the HVAC system, which still hasn’t been properly cleaned. Kirk Realty has refused to decontaminate or reimburse us for our damaged personal belongings. Their only solution has been to fog the HVAC, which does nothing to clean the furniture, mattresses, and clothes that have been sitting in a toxic environment for months. Since the original leak, we’ve had another serious leak. Cory promised that someone would come out and properly clean it up—again, that never happened. Every time an issue arises (due to their property’s failures, not ours), we’re told to “turn it into renters insurance.” Mold and plumbing leaks caused by faulty sewer systems are not covered by renters insurance. And just to be clear—these were not isolated incidents. The tenants before us also dealt with leaks and plumbing problems in this same house. This situation has cost us hotel stays, medical bills, lost work, and time away from our family due to illness. We’ve paid out of pocket for everything, including professional mold testing. I am attaching photos and screenshots of conversations to support this review. Please know that I have additional documentation and evidence that I am withholding for now, as this matter is still ongoing and may need to be handled through the appropriate legal channels. Kirk Realty has shown absolutely no remorse and taken no accountability. Meanwhile, we just paid $1,950 in rent for a home we can’t even live in, and they’re already planning to list it for another tenant—fully aware of the risks. Please proceed with extreme caution if you’re considering renting from this company. Your health, belongings, and peace of mind are worth more than what they’re offering.

My husband and I have worked with this company for the last few years and feel lucky to have found a management company that takes renters seriously. When we have expressed concerns, we can always expect a quick response. Cory has been thoughtful and kind and we would 10/10 recommend to friends and family!

Experiencia fantástica: Cory Danner is THE MAN. I’m in my 20’s and live 3 hours away from my rental in Indianapolis. Cory earned my trust immediately through a referral and then the trust only became stronger through great communication (mostly through email) which is the number one thing that matters to me. He rented my house for top dollar (to a highly qualified renter) and it was only available for a week or so before we signed a tenant. There were a few issues that came up with the house, but Cory had them taken care of and kept me stress free. Recently, I had Cory list the house for sale and it went pending in 2 days. It was time to sell that house, but I really wish we had 10 others for Cory to manage. I was so pleased with his service! I would recommend him to anyone no doubt about it!

Experiencia negativa: I have been very disappointed in the lack of communication with this company. I have found a home that I love and there has been little communication. I have reached out over a week spans, 10 different times to get more see the house and get more information. Shannon’s voicemail box was full, I looked up the business on google to see if I could get another phone number and the lady that answered just sent me another voicemail. I finally texted the original number and got a response back but haven’t received one since. I’ve been extremely disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: I could not have been more displeased and I am certain ANY other property management group would be better than Kirk. I was dismayed when I returned home from being outside the country for a few months to find that a jungle had grown on my property -- and even more at a loss as to why my property manager Benjamin did not notify me. A passerby told me that he thought the house was abandoned. Surely fundamental to renting a property is having it clean and maintained. I am not a slumlord but that is the impression that is given. Not only that, such an appearance is a security threat in that it invites criminal activity in downtown Indy. Beyond the egregious look of the exterior, I found inside the apartment what looks to be activity from a rodent in the LR fireplace and back bedroom. And on the outside windowsill of that bedroom in plain site was a large pile of old dried droppings which I presume are from an opossum. When I asked Benjamin why he did not notify me of the jungle he did not even respond to my text. Nor did he respond to my query of who I could call to report the Kidney Dialysis Center next door for 2-3 foot high weeds, which also is something I would have expected as my property manager that he would have taken care of while I was away. So because he did not fulfilled his duties as a property manager I ended my relationship with Kirk Realty. Additionally Kirk Realty was unable to rent the property in 7-mos -- SEVEN MONTHS -- despite my hiring their low-quality and difficult-to-work-with contractor, Rabin Restoration, at a pretty penny to make the changes that Shannon Kirk told me would move the property quickly. I am completely dissatisfied with the lack of fulfillment of my agreement with this firm. Shannon told me that they typically rent a property in 6 weeks -- obviously there was no oversight whatsoever from the Shannon on what their property manager was doing with my property. Our relationship was terminated for failure of Kirk to fulfill their contractual and otherwise written and spoken obligations. I put the rental unit on the market myself for $50 less than Kirk has suggested and had tons of showings. I am blown away at how pitiful this firm is -- that Shannon Kirk did not have her eye on the project whatsoever in those 7-months and could not figure out that her property manager was a complete and utter failure, or that we should simply lower the rent from $1550 to $1500/month plus utilities. I would give 0 stars if I could. BTW its highly questionable that the other reviewers here who have rated this firm so highly only have one Google review (at the time of this writing), versus someone like me who has written nearly 150 reviews you can trust. They managed rental and sale of my property, and I have had zero problems with the service, despite being completely out of state for last few years I owned the property. They bring friendly knowledgeable service for any real estate needs, whether buying, renting or selling.

The housing market had just crashed and the idea of selling for a loss didn't appeal to me. I contacted Kirk Realty to discuss having them manage my property for lease. From day one the entire team has been nothing but professional in every way. Emails and phone calls are returned quickly. Issues are handled in a timely manner. And I'm always kept informed about any changes needed with the property. Kirk Realty Group has definitely eliminated all the hassle and frustration that may come from leasing a property. They handled renting the property, and selling it afterwards. The communications were easy and fast. Property management was very important to me as I am remote. When there was a problem, Kirk Realty had a solution, with price upfront and no surprises. I was getting a good advise on the market when I decided to sell. When an offer was received, I had all the information I needed to proceed. At Kirk Realty I have worked with Amanda Booher, Philip Ranck, and General Manager Cory Danner. They are a tight team, transparent, trustworthy, and responsive. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I definitely would not recommend this company. I was very dissatisfied with the realtor handling a rental property in Noblesville. I followed all of the steps of the application online I had one signature for the rental verification to be signed and I should have been able to sign the contract after that signature. Although the realtor handling the rental property rented the property out from under me in less than 24 hours of receiving that one signature. I felt it was very unfair. I paid $75 for the application. I should be receiving that refund if not I will take it to upper management. I did all of my homework it was his job to keep in communication with me on the property and the process of the application and he did not do so I would not recommend this company to handle any rental properties.

Someone referred me to Kirk Realty and it was the best decision I've made! They helped me find qualified tenants and managed all aspects of my property. Experiencia positiva: We had a great experience with Cory and Philip at KRG! They managed our property while we were living out of state and did a wonderful job. Sometimes it took them a little longer with email communication but ultimately we had a good experience and would use them again in the future.

Experiencia negativa: Opened the door and let us in. Didn't even tell us about the house. Didn't tell us they not only double booked the appointment but triple booked it. Basically told us to full out the app and we would forfeit the cost of the applications if someone else got approved before us. So, they didn't help us out at all. Just made us feel like we wasted our time seeing a house we really liked but probably wouldn't get because others were filling out their app before we even got handed ours.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had a very positive experience with Kirk Realty. They not only helped my boyfriend and I rent a gorgeous home, they also guided us through the buying process, as the home we rented was also for sale. Our basement flooded and a contractor hired through Kirk Realty was over the same day to extract the water, place dehumidifiers, and replace the sump pump at no cost to us. They even referred us to a great landscaping company that mows our lawn at a great price! The people in the office are always pretty easy to get ahold of and are very nice and down-to-earth. Highly recommended!!

Experiencia fantástica: I used Kirk Realty for my first home purchase in 2015. My realtor was fantastic and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process about what everything meant. My home buying experience was a little longer than most, because I started out with poor credit. While I could've gone ahead and secured a mortgage with a higher interest rate, my realtor gave me sound advice on how to take 6 months and get my credit score to an average/above average bracket so that my interest rate would be lower than if I had jumped into buying a house right from the beginning. I'm paying a much lower mortgage than I would've been, got the house I wanted, and my credit score is higher than it's ever been. Highly recommend this company and its staff!

As an out of state landlord, I am always being kept in the loop with of any problems with my tenants. They also handle all the emergencies promptly and professionally. When it's time for lease renewal, they always ask for my input ahead of time - they never make a decision for me simply for their best interest. I feel very comfortable having my rentals being managed by Philip and Cory from the Kirk Realty Group.

Experiencia fantástica: Kirk Realty Group did a very good job in the past 6 years I've worked with them when they leased my house. There were not very many months where I wasn't collecting a check for rent. Any time there was an issue with my house they contacted me immediately and fixed the problem. If I ever have a house to rent again I will not think twice about using them.

Experiencia negativa: Renting from Kirk Realty has left me doubting any other property management company despite ALWAYS having positive experiences with several different companies across the country before them. I've historically gone through a property management company as a tenant as well as having my home rented out. On both aspects, I'd rate Kirk Realty as a zero. Communication was awful and misrepresented; although they were quite prompt and efficient when seeking the deposits and first payment. The house was filthy when we moved in despite calls about that and keeping the house empty for more time (husband in a hotel waiting) AND the owner being charged for it to be cleaned. I could go on. They did accept our 3 pets and we did have shelter. I'm still dumbfounded by the level of service and professionalism (or, more accurately, lack of). The owner cancelled the contract early due to the agreement not being kept.

Experiencia negativa: I lived in a rental property that that the owner co-managed with Kirk Realty. The final move out process and charges were very unprofessional and felt like a major scam. We were charged $1200 to re-paint the main floor of a shitty, cheap, cookie-cutter house. Kirk Realty would not provide any kind of breakdown of charges for this service. They also tried to charge us $360 to re-clean the carpet after we had it professionally cleaned and had proof for them. The homeowner got hit with some of these charges, hopefully he's smart enough to dump them after this. Stay away from this company!

Experiencia negativa: Awful company, it took a month and a half for them to respond to maintenance request. After we gave notice we were moving they wanted 60 days of showing the house and threatened to show up any time they wanted and charge fines if we didn't comply. When I moved out I paid a professional cleaning company to make sure things were done right, they still charged me for things like "stairway railings marked" $100. To many options out there to work with these people.

Experiencia negativa: My experience with this company has been a nightmare. They do a good job on getting you to sign their contract, and finding tenants, and getting the full rate you are asking for. Heck, even their prices are very fair. However, customer service, is a joke, at best. Once you sign on the dotted line, you can forget everything else. I had them do some touch up paint, and finish some crown molding, and clean my rental house. They sub out the work, but the work never got completed. The house was clean, and the touch up paint was done I'm sure, but the expensive part of the project, the crown molding, never was done. Yet, they take the $900 dollars out of my rent from my tenants??? I believe that, until the work is completed, you should not take MY money away from me. Also, whoever they had working in the house, set my thermostat at 72 degrees, and it stayed that way for over a month straight while I'm living out of town. Well guess who got a $300 plus electric bill when I don't even live there?? My other problem is, I have called them probably 5 times in the past month to find out what's going on, and they always say they will call me back that day, and they never call. But, supposedly, everything they've done this far is ok, because it was in the original contract that they can do what they want. If you need a property managed....stay away from these guys!!!
