We’ve been going to open houses and being accosted by agents over and over, never feeling like any of them would be the right fit for us. I got referred to Jenny by a co-worker who has been a client of hers for a while. Jenny has found them 2 homes and sold 1 home for them. If that’s not an endorsement I don’t know what is! She praised Jenny’s honesty and integrity and assured me I’d be happy with her. She is wonderful and she’s been there for us through everything. We started looking at houses with her weekend after weekend, for months. She sent us prospective homes and I sent her ones that I thought might work as well. We kept a constant text and email string going between the 3 of us and communication was always open. It never mattered what time of day or night, if I texted her about something, she would always text or call me back. When we started house hunting with Jenny we weren’t in a huge hurry to find a home, so we were only looking at 2-4 homes per weekend. But once our building was sold, we suddenly needed to find something fast. Once we told her that, Jenny went into overdrive. Once we decided on a place, within a month we were living in it! It was literally that fast. She had previously set us up with Dan Patty from SolCosta Home Loans who handled our entire loan process (he was awesome). The home we ended up purchasing is perfect for our current needs. And Jenny is still helping us with our home repairs and, honestly, any other random thing I can think of to ask. She’s really just amazing and I can’t say enough good things about her. She handled everything, including the awful agent who represented the seller. She walked us through every step of the process and we never felt like we were overwhelmed. Jenny negotiated a great deal for us and she’s still working to help us fix odds and ends. I never worry that she won’t be there when I need her. We’ve recommended her to others in the area looking to buy and we’ll definitely be using her when we sale this house. She’s become a friend. Jenny even invited us to her Christmas party! Her family makes tamales to give out to everyone who comes. It was wonderful and the tamales were delicious. They listed and sold the house in about a day and a half for full asking price and scored us some credits. That deal closed in about 20 days. At that time there was only about 15 houses on the market in all of Benicia, but they rolled up their sleeves and found us some great houses to make offers on and put us in touch with lenders, insurance people, title company, property manager, etc.. Despite tight market conditions, with Jenny and Melanie's help we were able to get lender qualified, get into escrow, get inspections and close in about 30 days. And, they were pleasant to deal with and easy going! We couldn't be more impressed.
