Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately our experience was awful. But, we had Raquel. I would not recommend her. She tried to rent us a condo in Pre-Foreclosure and wasted our time for a week. We had 4 applications and more than enough income to qualify. We backed everything up she asked for only to be rejected. Then we saw the condo was in Pre-Foreclosure. Not a fun experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Marterra managed the rental that we leased, and we liked Raquel very much. Whenever there's a problem, they responded and fixed it promptly. We also liked the fair rules for breaking the lease. We sold our home last year & planned to wait for a year to decide where to retire. But with the housing price going up so fast, we decided to stay put in Irvine to be near friends & enjoy the weather. Luckily, we found a smaller house and had to break the lease. They required us to show the rental to prospective renters on appointments, paid the rent until the new renter moved in, & paid the leasing fee of 1% for the remaining months. I would prefer to rent where Marterra manages and if I ever own a rental, I would use them to manage it!

We started out the home search process knowing practically nothing, so Christine spent an entire afternoon going through the home purchase process and driving us through various neighborhoods in Costa Mesa. We spent nearly every weekend together over the course of four months looking for houses. If Christine was unavailable to show us a house on a weekend due to one of her Open Houses, she made sure that an associate or her husband, Daniel, was available to show us the house. Christine is incredibly responsive and always responded to our texts/emails within hours, if not minutes. She was very honest and never pressured us to make an offer until we were certain of the house. We looked at many older homes, and Christine did a wonderful job pointing out areas that could be easily remodeled in the home, as well as pointing out potential problems or things to avoid. At one point, we were ready to put an offer on a home and she pointed out potential problems with the home that convinced us to pass on the house. This example showed us that she really cared about us finding the right home. We really trusted her opinion. When we finally found our home, she drafted the offer the same day and it was accepted the next day. Apart from being a great realtor, she is also a really easygoing and nice person - which helps when you see each other nearly every week! We would definitely recommend Christine.

We were relocating with a company, and were looking for a 2 year rental in the Mission Viejo area in a few months, and she took care of the rest! She was always very quick to respond, day or night, by phone, e-mail or text, and if she didn't know the answer she was in touch with agents and landlords to get us the info we needed. She was able to schedule a super efficient day of touring properties, and was negotiating with agents to get us the best deal before the day was even over.
