Negative experience: Absolutely avoid at all costs. We hired DeLaura and her team in May to sell our home. She had sold it before and we felt like we were in good hands since she has a known brokerage. Well, we were not. Her team was extremely unresponsive. They’d take sometimes days to respond to simple questions or I had to follow up over and over. We had to ask multiple times for feedback on showings and they would just not respond to us at all. They had a stager come in that gave us bizarre advice but I followed it thinking they’re the experts. Her and her team were also very rude and borderline hostile at points. She severely overpriced our home and kept acting like we came up with that number when I asked over and over again if that was the issue when she gave us that number to begin with. They also left our home UNLOCKED and tried to gaslight us and blame us. I drove to the house at 8pm with sleeping babies to take a video of how easy the door is too close just to prove a point. We ended up going firing her when it was just SO obvious that she didn’t care about our home because it wasn’t a million dollars. We hired another realtor who brought in a different stager, and who quite frankly busted her butt and well earned her commission. She sold our house in less than 2 weeks. Definitely recommend not using her or her team if you’re not high society or have a million plus dollar home.
