Fantastic experience: I would recommend Seaside Realty to my closest friends and family. Chris, the owner, is amazing. It took us a few years to find a house we liked and could afford, but he was never impatient with us. He knew exactly what we were looking for, and he never gave up on us, sending us properties he thought we would like. He always went the extra mile, doing extra research into neighborhoods, as well as possible risk factors, like landslides, etc. Unlike so many realtors, he was never pushy, and he never seemed to be in it to make a quick sell. Fantastic experience: The following paragraphs delineate our experiences with Chris Chin during our search for a home. We have now been living happily in our new home, here in Newbury Park, for nearly six months. In short, purchasing and moving to this house was one of the finest decisions of our lives. Yet none of this would have happened without Chris Chin’s two-year-long commitment and persistence. As home buyers we were indecisive, sporadic, apprehensive, and ignorant in all things pertaining to real estate. All we could agree on is that we had to move out of Ventura to bring our kids closer to their schools and activities in Los Angeles. As Fatima put it, “It’s time to leave this village!” At the same time, Chris had to contend with our high expectations: The price point must be less than one one million; we still want the temperate coastal climate of Ventura and Oxnard - Westlake and Agoura are prohibitively hot; and the location, preferably in a cul-de-sac, must have plenty of walkable paths, a community pool, nearby tennis courts, and a quality supermarket within reach. Having met dozens of real estate agents, I doubt there is a single one in Ventura County who would have put up with us. However, Chris is much more than an “agent;” he is a highly educated, knowledgeable, meticulous, and indefatigable real estate broker. Each time we viewed a house, he would give a detailed report on both the house and the neighborhood. When I thought I had found the perfect home – what a backyard! – Chris discovered major cracking in the foundation, as if the house were splitting in two, and advised against its purchase. Likewise, he kept detailed notes of each house we visited, noting potential future issues. Finally, these in-person tours persisted for two years... And even when we would give up searching for a month or two, Chris never gave up on us. Most importantly, in our opinion, Chris is honest and patient. He always presented the pros and cons, and not once did we feel rushed to make a decision. The end result, with all the criteria met, is we are in our “perfect home” now.

We were in the market for a home at the beginning of the pandemic, and Chris was still able to meet us and show us homes in a safe manner. He suggested a few homes to us based on our preferences, and ultimately we did find one that was perfect!
