However, there’s the one thing, if someone is physically disabled they should not have to view the property physically in order to fill out an application. Negative experience: Being that my apartment building has been acquired by a new property management company, I am now able to write a real and honest opinion of my experience without fear of retaliation from Pure Property Management. To clarify, my fear of retaliation was solely based on a family member of mine being terminated from their company shortly after they acquired Action Property Management. They may write off my review as biased because of this. However I’d like to emphasize that this review is completely unrelated to that fact, as I value professionalism in the business industry, to which you can refer to in my previous reviews of other companies. I have lived in an apartment complex on Ocean Drive for going on 3 years now. For the first time in my life, I have had to deal with a roach infestation. This infestation is throughout the building. I live by very clean standards, which has been confirmed to management by various vendors. I had to work this issue up to the Operations Manager of Pure Property Management located in Corpus Christi, also known as Amber. Initially, she got back to me very quickly to address the issue. However, I felt she dismissed the infestation, telling me to buy traps and bait out of pocket as they spray every few months. I had to reiterate that this is not how an infestation is removed. She told me that according to my lease, that if I’m not happy with their sprays, then I can feel free come out of pocket. It wasn’t until I argued that an infestation of pests is at the discretion of the owner, that she called the pest control company to confirm the infestation. Only then did she give me a follow up course of action. I want highlight that I have had pleasant experiences with this manager before, as well as the company in its entirety. However, having to argue health and safety with the head property manager was enough to solidify my dissatisfaction with the company. I will note that I did have many pleasant experiences with the office staff. They were all very friendly and always happy to help. If you have simple issues, they are usually good about getting someone out there in a reasonable amount of time. However, there is a huge lack of communication when it comes to following up on issues and appointment times. Your appointments will usually be based on approximation and not a set scheduled time. They allow you to choose an appointment time on their third party app, but the vendors tend show up at a different time and sometimes, a different day. This is likely just their way of doing things, but if you’re strict on your timeframes, you may want to consider that. Overall, this company has strong potential. I think they could dominate the property management industry, especially here in South Texas, if they had better process flow, better communication between the employees and the tenants, and managers that embody professionalism. If you’re an owner looking for them to manage your properties, they will surely always put you first.

He did everything for us to get into our place… long days for him and he was always in contact me and keeping me updated. I am very grateful for him and action property!! And I can’t forget about Ms. Betsy… her laugh was giving me life! She worked very hard to get us into our home! She was compassionate, my son got ill while I was signing paperwork and she was so helpful in that situation! That may not mean much to people but it meant a lot to me! Action property is where it’s at!!

I often she her taking great care of the grounds around my apartment. Thats why I renew my contract three years running so far. Neat, organized, Fair, and safe. Fantastic experience: I’ve been living at Southern Comfort Apt’s since November 2021 and these are the best apartments I’ve ever lived at for numerous reasons!!! I really love the manager Ms Betty, as I call her bc she’s always so friendly and helps me with anything that I need, as well as, the whole staff!!! And the apartment is beautiful inside and I especially love the concrete tile flooring bc they are so easy to keep clean instead of carpeting, as well as, it being a lit and gated community since these two things make me feel so safe living here and it’s usually always quiet outside. And even though I live downstairs and have someone who lives above me, I never ever hear them since the apartments are so well built. I lived at a certain place where I could even hear them talking at times and especially every time anyone walked across the floor you could hear every step!!! So it’s been a very positive experience living here and I see myself continuing to live here for many, many years to come and really never want to move again!!!

Negative experience: I rented from Action Property for 18mo. I will NEVER rent from them again. I would never have them manage a property for me! Read the lease thoroughly before you sign! He hides fees in it! Monthly management fee/filter fee. Keeps most of the deposit, charges misc fees etc.

Wonderful people, efficient and were on it. Ensured everything was done in a timely manner. BEST EVER!

Fantastic experience: We rented a single family home from Action. Application, move-in, and move-out processes were quick and easy. Online portal made repair/maintenance requests streamlined and we appreciated being able to communicate on the portal. The security deposit refund was very reasonable and sent to us quickly. Understanding and flexible with military + SCRA policies.

Negative experience: Whatever lady answers the phone needs to learn some phone etiquette. Answering "Action Property Management" and leaving me on hold for over 10 minutes without saying anything, not once but twice is very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Lived there for 2 years no problems with the landlord he is a great guy and if you call he will help with your problems , rent is also cheap, its a bad Neighborhood tho, car was boken into multiple times and my Neighbors apartments were broken into. Lots of homeless people hang out nearby and sometimes climb through the fence if your thinking about living here you should invest in a firearm

Fantastic experience: Action property recently took over my apartments and I honestly couldn’t be happier. They have took care of every problem I had (which was a lot that never got done from the owners before). The maintenance guy they sent was real professional. He worked with my schedule and knew exactly what he was doing. They have took care of maintenance inside the apartments as well as the outside. So glad to have them.

Decently priced for the area and the location is prime for those who want to be close to Rockport/Fulton but, desire a more calm and slower paced community. With the newly renovated apartments it's really a hidden gem in the Coastal Bend!
