Negative experience: Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with a real estate brokerage. We have purchased a multitude of homes and sold a multitude of homes over the past 30 years and the experience with RE/MAX Precision was the most stressful and awful experience we have ever had. This company is all about the dollars but does not care about their clients at all. I would stay away from using this company, but if you do have a wonderful realtor that may unfortunately be associated with them, I would also suggest you hire your own attorney to represent and support you.

Fantastic experience: Marizela Usher was the perfect realtor for us. I can list so many ways she was amazing at her job, but it would be too long. Seek her out and she will make every effort to get your best selling and buying price. But, her service is more than great pricing, her advise and knowledge in the home market will be of great value to you. Finding a home is more than getting a good deal, its about finding the right home gracefully.

Fantastic experience: We had an exceptional experience with Greg as our Buyer's Agent in the purchase of our new home. He helped us close on our beautiful home in a competitive above ask, multiple offers, and less than 12 hour sale. He spoke to the sellers' agent on multiple occasions to ensure our offer was well received and well positioned to win in the competitive market. He recommended the correct offer price of the house to ensure we won in multiple offers without over-offering and saved us tens of thousands of dollars (if not more) by finding us a lender with a mortgage rate a full percentage point below other lenders. Even after we closed Greg remained in communication and was very generous in offering to check on the property before we moved in and ensured everything went smoothly with our transition. She really stuck with us throughout the pandemic, bearing with us as we or laid off last year and therefore lost the first home that we put an offer on. Kathy continued to help and support us and we are very glad she did! Kathy was extremely responsive, professional, organized, and we felt like she had our best interests in mind throughout the entire process. Cannot recommend Kathy and Re/Max highly enough. Negative experience: This is regarding Kane MCCuen- for one, he sold me his friends house. which I do not recommend buying from a realtor when they are friends with the seller because they are just looking out for there friends. let's add that he also hired his friend that did the inspection on the house. the inspector went through the whole house in a matter of 30 minutes or less. as first time home buyers we trusted in our realtor to get us the best deal and the right home for us. their was numerous things literally hidden from us and promised to us that were LIES! here is a list of the things I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars repairing. - leak in the 4 seasons roof, which I had to replace the whole roof just for the four seasons was $4,000 in under a month of living there. - water damage in the basement, another 4 thousand for a subpump 3 months after buying. said there was no water leak at all.. buyer just replaced drywall before selling. told them to replace the door in garage because lt was rusted.. they put an interior door in there, was completely water damaged in a year. was told the roof was good for 8 years atleast, had to replace within a year due to leaks asked them to make sure everything was out of the house when they moved out, left furniture in the house and pots and Pans in the cubbord, I had to pay to get everything thrown away. even after the realtor said he would call and make them come get everything, even after moving in, but never did. Had to replace the furnace and a/c within the first 2 WEEKS!!! Mold in the garage bar in the basement was told water would be ran to it...never was they had a recliner hiding water damage in the basement yes I know I bought an older home but I was promised all these things were not an issue and Kane lied straight to my face to get his buddy out of this house Kane is a snake and liar, I highly would not recommend this guy as a realtor. stay far away.

I’ve known Greg for a long time but he exceeded our expectations when it came to selling our home and buying a new one. We had a lot of questions when we were considering putting our house up for sale. Greg walked us through what to expect and made the whole process a breeze. Little did we know our house would only need to be on the market one day. That’s all it took with Greg’s expertise and help. I often found myself waiting for weeks for someone to get back to me only to hear disappointing news. Justin got me preapproved in 2 days. He’s fun to work with and is always after you & your families best interests. He will tell you his honest professional opinion. He worked hard for myself and my family and found us a home that works! I highly suggest working with him and his team!

Fantastic experience: Justin Torres is an absolute beast! My soon to be ex wife and I are going through a complicated divorce and were essentially upside down on our home as we had only owned for two years. I gave him some pretty unrealistic hurdles as I was trying not to loose my a$$ on the deal. He was never anything but optimistic and fought every step of the way to ensure I wouldn't! He was always available and very transparent through the entire process. I would recommend this man to ANYONE who is looking for their next agent. If he can help me there is not a home or family he cannot sell or assist!

Fantastic experience: We met Justin Torres at an open house. He was very good at being readily available to us at all times during the process. He didn’t sugar coat anything when it came to the houses. We are first time home buyers so we didn’t know much about buying a new home. He had two main goals; find a home that we would love, and a good easy sell when the time came. Very nice man and you can tell he loves what he does. Even stopped by to give us a house warming gift. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: I've had bad experiences with agents before, but this was the absolute worst. I sold my home FSBO and Mary had a buyers agent. Here are my issues. 1. She pressured me into using Remax buyers agreement knowing that I was working with a lawyer. 2. Talked badly about employment/being an agent and then commented about her upcoming vacation trip. 3. Would do the "I want to be your friend" conversations in a way I've never experienced. Even my wife, who is very tolerant of such things, found it incredibly insulting. 4. During final walk through, Mary interrupted multiple times as I was explaining simple things about the house such as filter replacement. She just came from a party so not sure if that affected her judgement. 5. Sent drama filled email because she didn't understand FSBO and wanted things her way. My lawyer said he "ignored her" after that. House prices have gone up, agent commissions have gone up, but their service is way lacking the excessive commissions.

Fantastic experience: I have known Greg Steward since college and he has known for the last 5 years we were wanting to buy a home. It took us 5 years to finally get serious but that entire time Greg remained patient and never pushed us once to buy a home sooner then we were ready. Once we got started, Greg provided us a list of homes after we told him what type of hpuses we were looking for. Once my wife and I decided on some houses, Greg got us 10 showings within 1 business day. We knocked them out all in one day and had two houses that we were deciding on. Fantastic experience: When it came time to sell my house, I knew many competent realtors, but Greg was my obvious choice for MANY reasons. Many people don't want to pay for a realtor because they believe they can sell on their own. I am very well connected in Des Moines, and while I probably could have eventually found a buyer, it was Greg's network that garnered multiple showings the first days my house was listed. I had an offer just hours after the first showings, and Greg and his REMAX team handled all the behind-the-scenes work. Keep in mind that Greg paid for professional photos to market my house, which not all realtors will do. Greg definitely worked for his commission (see my next paragraph). My closing encountered so many issues - unique situations that I swear would happen only to me. :) Greg took charge - for instance, contacting my neighbor for an easement and continuing to follow up with him - and working closely with the buyer's agent to keep me informed and work through issues. I abused my long-time relationship with Greg by calling him beyond normal business hours, and he always answered. I appreciate Greg's calm and positive demeanor. He can ease your nerves and keep you informed throughout the process, if you worry like I do. I had already moved out-of-state, and Greg was great about making things as easy possible for me (within his power), including depositing my proceeds check instead of mailing, to ensure I had it. Thank you Greg! Anyone who is selling or buying needs to give Greg a call.
