Fantastic experience: We decided to move back in October 2025 but due to some family situations it prolonged until June 2026. We were looking for a realtor who could help us from a distance handle everything and make it as seamless as possible to sell and thats exactly what we got. We choose Castro Real Estate because they are who represented the sellers when we bought that house and for us when we sold. They have been nothing but helpful during this very stressful process. We definitely valued the communication as well as the willingness to go above and beyond their duties to help us. I would definitely advise anyone who is buying or selling to really be patient with the process. It takes time and things happen but if you go with anyone from Castro Real Estate, I can guarantee you will have a 5/5 star service. I want to thank Andrea Nuñez for the absolutely perfect service during this transition.

Fantastic experience: i reached out to find a realtor though Zillow as i looked for a house in North Carolina in the area close to Wilmington or above. Thankfully i got introduced to Jush Nodurft, part of the Castro team. Dealing with the whole team, and Josh specifically, has been a pleasure, he was really responsive, got my requirements really laid out and found us houses to look at in a few locations. We managed to find both the area we preferred and made an offer on our first trip. Josh and the team made it fast, simple and being very responsive they made it a lot less stressful. We closed today and i would highly recommend the team and Josh to deal with. First class.

Fantastic experience: Decided to look for another home and little did we know when we requested a showing, the experience would be so easy. Ronnie Dorn and the Castro Team were phenomenal. Ronnie had an offer on my old house in just 4 days!!! He helped us lock in an offer on our new house immediately after that. Ronnie also helped us secure much better financing which saved me well over $10,000 grand. Ronnie even came to our closing and gifted our family house warming gifts to include a beautiful picture of our new home. I absolutely would recommend Ronnie and the Castro Team!

All our questions were never made to seem like they were not important, and all were answered. HOME SOLD fast, even after other offers fell through- they gave sound advice, and took care of any problems. I would highly recommend them, as well as use them again when and if I sell again!!

Negative experience: Do not use this firm unless you like to be lied to and ignored. We are currently supposed to be in due diligence - utilizing Diane Castro-Perez and team as our realtors. After discovering a number of things about the property, however, the negotiating at the end of due diligence should have been critical Instead we have been ignored by our agent all day today - preventing us from negotiating or even properly extending due diligence. This risks us being locked into a contract we don't want - without the ability to negotiate. This is super illegal on behalf of Diane Castro-Perez and team - but reporting them to the state won't resolve the issues in the current transaction...

Fantastic experience: We just purchased our first home and had that absolute best agent. Casey was truly there for us 24/7. We initially started this process with wanting to buy, then switched to possibly renting as we were not finding anything on the market that would fit our household size. Casey was always more than willing to show us a house and in the end notified us of a home that just came on the market that she knew would be perfect for us and our four girls (13,12,8,4). She was so helpful with any questions that we had as this was our first home! She explained each step along the way in full detail and ensured that we understand everything that was going on. A year ago I decided to relocate my family from Europe to the USA. I chose New Bern and followed the offer. In March 2024, I contacted Kristin. She scheduled viewings of my most favored houses and we did it all in one day! Kristin always responded quickly and even on the weekend. Given the time difference between Europe and the US, this was invaluable. Kristin also helped me a lot during the negotiation of price, DD and inspections.
