Fantastic experience: 5 stars are not enough for Anne-Lise Burgess and the Reece Homes team. We recently moved from the Midwest to the Seattle area and were looking for a home in the Edmonds bowl area. We knew enough about the area to know where we wanted to be, but needed a knowledgeable and trusted partner that could help us understand the unique aspects of the local market. Every local market is unique in their own way, and Edmonds is no exception. Our collaboration with Anne-Lise started with a in depth conversation about what we were looking for. Not simply a formulaic X square feet with Y bedrooms etc., but a highly personal interview-style conversation that allowed us to provide the nuance and texture than is critical input to allow a buy side agent to understand the client. And I confess that my scientist brain swooned more than just a little when after the time invested in understanding our wants, Anne-Lise pivoted to describe how she and the Reece team use data and analytics to understand where the market is and where it might be going. (Think of the real estate version of the line from Jerry Maguire but modified to "You had me at data"). That data-centric approach was critical for us. The Edmonds bowl is a relatively small area, and for whatever reason in the spring of 2026 seems to be one of the very few parts of the country where buyers are outnumbering sellers (the home we eventually purchased had 5 bidders, all of which went over list price). Our biggest question was how many shots on goal were we likely to get given our narrow target geographic range. Anne-Lise did a wonderful analysis of the market stretching back several years to help us address this question, and it allowed us to recognize that if we wanted to keep the location spec narrow we would have to widen the aperture to include homes that might need a bit of investment (both time and money) because the number of '"turnkey" homes that met all of our criteria might be in the low single digits per year. And in a hot market with some of those types of properties going for 20% over list in a few days, not only were we likely to not get a lot of shots on goal but the competition was going to be tough. Something else that was super helpful for us coming in from a different part of the country was Anne-Lise's attention to and knowledge of the mechanical and infrastructural aspects of the homes we looked at. Things wear and tear a bit differently in the PNW than they do in the Midwest for sure. The first time we met I was wondering why she was standing back outside of the house and seemingly looking up at the sky, until she came and told us about the roof condition, how long it might still have left, and what the cost might be to replace. The same was true for all of the unsexy things like water heater age, furnace condition, sewer scopes, etc that a buyer can easily overlook. But a well-informed buyer needs to know that while you may be buying a view you are also going to have to pay the maintenance bill. Anne-Lise kept us informed and grounded in our expectations. Last but not least is that Anne-Lise was a great communicator - not just responding quickly when we had questions but anticipating our questions. And she also demonstrated tremendous agility, both to help us figure out if and how to pivot our search strategy and how to close quickly in a market that was for whatever reason just a bit crazy. All of the stars!

Positive experience: After almost 2 years, I still wouldn’t recommend them. They assistant Adrian amazing great the people they work with is OK. I definitely recommend the hardwood floor guy Andy everyone else the painter they suggested was horrible and terrible overpriced. The person that was showing the house couldn’t tell vinyl flooring from hardwood flooring. I walked in on my second showing of my house because I simply forgot a work key in the drawer came inside grab the key. She had no idea who I was which is fine but literally stood in the weirdest corner and just let me walk into the house go through the drawers and leave with a key, barely said anything to me. Had to introduce myself hey I am the owner of this home you were showing. Do you have any questions for me about the house? You’re about to present to people and they said oh no and so I then took it upon myself to say OK well welcome to my home. There is new carpets, new paint, these are refinished real oak hardwood floors, all things your boss suggested doing, so I spend roughly 15k to response was oh wow, I thought it was vinyl! (The person selling my home doesn’t know my home? Wonderful sign.)

Fantastic experience: We selected Jaime Reece of Reece Homes to handle the listing of our condominium for sale based upon the strong recommendation of our daughter Karen. Jaime handled the sale of her residence in Edmonds and purchase of a new townhouse in Mill Creek with great results. Jaime has 22 years experience and he and his team do an in-depth market analysis as to value, comparables, and trends. We had made a contingent offer on a two year old home in Dallas, Oregon, and we were under pressure to sucessfully sell our condominium at an attractive price. Late November and the month of December are not the optimum time to list and sell. Jaime helped evaluate a realistic asking price and we had some immediate interest but no offers as the Christmas holidays arrived and acitivity plummeted. We were provided his in-depth market analysis and agreed to make a price reduction. This was best launched in January. Interest renewed, and a bidding competition arose that Jaime handled superbly. Our contingent offer had a two week extension and meanwhile a surprise driveway easement surfaced. HIs input was invaluable in our decision making to proceed with that purchase. Our condominium was in a Living Trust and he and his team managed our sale of our condominium and the related multiple steps to closing efficiently and their expertise was evident. They were timely and coordinated well with our purchase realtor and mortgage broker. Their program gives the client a weekly report on viewer feedback of your listing by the realtor showing it. We were very impressed with the advantage that provided in deciding whether to reduce our price and Jamie gave his candid assessment of the market and suggested new price. We sold at a very attractive amount and we were pleased for the buyers as the appraisal value matched their offer speeding appoval by their lender. My wife Susan and I will be forever grateful we chose Jaime Reece and his team to sell our condominium in truly challenging seasonal times with interest rates in flux and adverse weather. We give our highest recommendation. We are at retirement age and have bought and sold many houses in my career history. This was by far the best professional service we have received from a realtor.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Anne-Lise and Reece Homes enough! I was a first time homebuyer, with zero knowledge on the process, and Anne-Lise made it so easy (and fun)! I was so impressed with how knowledgeable she was, how honest she was with homes that I was prematurely excited about, and how she was able to keep the situation realistic when I was faced with tough decisions. She also kept my safety as a young single woman living alone, a top priority. I would consider her my “fierce mama bear” with how she stuck her neck out for me during the offer process and fought for a fair price. We ran into a few speed bumps (never her fault), and she was always quick to solve the issue. The rest of the Reece Homes team (specifically Alma Bayong) were so attentive and helpful when it came to the rest of my closing period. Alma checked in often to make sure we didn’t have any questions, and was kind with her reminders when I forgot to sign a document or provide information. You will not regret using this team, I will always recommend them!

Positive experience: First off, the team there is awesome. There was constant communication. The team deserves 5 stars. I was a bit disappointed in my realtor, Jamie. My house was originally a 3b/1b 50's rambler that we completely remodeled. Our remodel changed it to a 2b/2b with a fantastic chef’s kitchen, upgraded baths, 3-sided fireplace, heated tile floors through-out, with a great living room and outdoor space. Jamie said it would be better to list as a 3/2 because it could be converted back to a 3/2 and more people would look at it as a 3/2. He put notes in the realtor section which were apparently overlooked. We had showings almost every day for 2 weeks with great responses, except that "it is not a 3 bedroom - not as listed". After 2 weeks, I decided it was time to list the house as it actually was - a 2/2. It was the only single family in our area that was a 2/2, with a yard and garden. Jamie did not offer to or re-write the listing – I re-wrote it. Jamie stated that we should lower the price $25k. I said no, to only lower it $12.5k. It was reposted as I re-wrote it, a 2b/2b and it sold that very day. Full price, no contingencies. I take responsibility for this as I should have listened to my gut and not listed as a 3/2 originally. However, he should have come to me after one or two comments that it was an incorrect listing and relisted it with "can be converted to a 3/2" in the realtor comments, not the other way around. Jamie is probably a really good jumbo home realtor (whatever "jumbo" means in the Seattle market!). I just don't think this was the best listing for him. Would I recommend the agency? Probably. The team was consistent, helpful and easy to work with. Jamie was also nice and was quick to answer emails. Three stars overall.

Fantastic experience: I'm a real estate lawyer that has helped folks buy and sell homes who do not need the assistance of a realtor. That said, I have personally used Jamie and the Reece Homes team twice over the past decade to purchase homes and have referred individuals to them who need an experienced realtor.
