Negative experience: Whoever this Kyle hardey is doesn’t bother responding to their own posted ads. Great business model they got, post an ad and don’t respond!

Negative experience: Our experience with this property management company was extremely frustrating from start to finish, largely due to their complete lack of communication and follow-through. Kyle, who was supposed to be our main point of contact, was incredibly lazy and unresponsive. Anytime an issue came up—which was often—we were met with delays and excuses. Contractors who came to the house frequently mentioned how difficult it was to get in touch with Kyle and his team, confirming that our communication issues weren’t isolated. Projects would stall for days or even weeks simply because no one from the management side would reply to basic inquiries or authorize necessary repairs. To make matters worse, Kyle and his team would often claim they were “waiting on the owner’s approval” to delay action. When we finally spoke directly with the property owner, we were shocked to learn that they hadn’t been contacted at all. It became clear that the management company was using the owner as a scapegoat to cover their own negligence. Overall, this was an unprofessional and exhausting experience. If you’re looking for reliable, communicative, and honest property management—look elsewhere

Negative experience: We used this management company for two years. They were great at finding tenants and getting the house rented out. Over the last two years we didn’t need them because some family friends moved into the house. We used them to write up the rental agreement. We had all plans of using them to keep it rented after our family friends moved out. Our first tenants moved out early and didn’t pay some of the last month rent. Had damage done to the carpet and broken lights Scott and his team jumped in and started dealing with all the legal side of things to collect that rent. Over the first year we would call and get the occasional text saying they would check with the lawyers and get back to us but not once did they give us an update. It has now been almost three years now and we have not got any information about it. I have called several times with no response back. After several months and several phone calls I finally got a text saying that they would call me the following day with updates. It has now been months and we are back to zero communication and not responding back. we were told that a program they were using didn't save the renters info and now they were waiting for them to pop back up in the system so they can find them and hopefully the legal team can move forward with getting us paid for that lost month of rent and damages. it's very frustrating this happened and if the issues was on there side we think it should be covered by them and they can go after them. His prices are great. but the lack of communication we got from him and his team, and the lack of getting to the bottom of getting us made whole was the reason we didn’t feel that more stars was appropriate.

Negative experience: Scott has been my property mangers since 2021. Scott almost never follows through with what he says he is going to do. The most common response is a thumbs up. It is very difficult to get ahold of Scott. Scott says a lot of things that sound good, but reality rarely matches what he says or promises. If you want a proactive responsive property manager I recommend someone else. If you’re ok with bare minimum, Scott can probably deliver. Scott is still my property manager, because of pending litigation with a past tenant. I am interested to see how he responds to my review. If his service improves, I will be happy to revise my review.

Scott seems like a nice guy, but he doesn’t care about your living situation. We went a month without power, and he did not take any initiative to fix the situation. We had to hound him and message him several times to get him to do anything. Then he turned around and tried to make it our fault that our power didn’t work in our home. Also, We have not had a washer and dryer for over a month now, which is part of the home.

Fantastic experience: Just bought a house with Scott as our buying agent and he did amazing! Went above and beyond for us and made sure we were taken care of. We were first time home buyers so he helped walk us through each step of the process and helped us to understand it all. He was really good at communicating and staying on top of the market and when we did find the house, negotiating with the sellers. Couldn’t be happier we chose Hardey Realty Group.

They were able to thoroughly keep us on schedule with all that needed to be done. They listened to things that were important to us and incorporated it in the deal.
