Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jodi Cinq-Mars and the exceptional job she and her team did selling our very special 1893 Queen Anne Victorian home. From the very beginning, Jodi was professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the entire process as smooth and successful as possible. Selling a home with the history and uniqueness of ours was not an ordinary transaction. There were very few, if any, comparable properties, and Jodi handled every detail with tremendous care and professionalism. She went above and beyond throughout the entire process, and her dedication, guidance, and hard work were evident every step of the way. I always felt that she had our best interests. There is only one small area where I felt the experience could have been better. On the day of closing, our closing was at noon, and I completely understood that it would take some time before everything was finalized. However, after four hours without an update, I became a little anxious, I eventually heard from Jodi that the house had officially closed. I would have appreciated a brief update along the way, even if it was simply to let me know that things were still progressing. Afterward, I received the closing statement, but I would also have appreciated having someone walk me through it and explain the various figures and what everything meant. I ultimately had to figure it out myself. This was certainly not a reflection of the overall experience, which was excellent—it was simply an opportunity for a little more communication and guidance at the very end of what had otherwise been a wonderful experience. Jodi, thank you for everything you did for us. Selling our beautiful old home was an emotional and important chapter in our lives, and I am so grateful that we had you there to guide us through it. Your professionalism, dedication, kindness, and hard work made such a difference. I would absolutely recommend Jodi Cinq-Mars and would not hesitate to work with her again. She truly went above and beyond, and I are so grateful for everything she did to make the sale of our special home such a success. ❤️

Fantastic experience: We have known Jodi for decades and felt completely comfortable with her selling our Grayslake home. We had already moved to Florida and we were concerned about having to make trips back and forth. Jodi and her “peeps” took care of everything with professionalism and for a reasonable price. We were thinking we may need to do more updating but she turned everything into a “positive”. This included cleaning, painting, staging, a few home projects, removing a wasp nest from above the garage, and of course all the closing details. Whatever came up she had someone who could do it. It was so reassuring. Her team hosted open houses in blizzards and below zero temps!!! She was always available to answer questions and pivot a bit when needed. She is such a positive person and represented us very well to the buyer. She sold our house quickly in the winter in Illinois!!! Fantastic experience: I was beyond pleased with the proactive service and customer-focus of the Cinq-Mars team! Initially, they met with me to understand our situation and explain how they will prepare to sell my Mom's townhouse. They were very professional in following up with me and assured me that the Open House would be in our time frame, not an arbitrary one set by them. They explained what we needed to do to properly prepare the house for showings and provided resources and assistance to help us along. I primarily worked with Jackie Pirie and she was outstanding at updating me with the progress and responding to my questions. Sylvie did a great job of concisely explaining the process to me at every step. I also had some pretty specific ideas about what I wanted, and it took several months to find the perfect property. Sylvie was patient and kind and never made me feel pressured. We just kept looking until I found "the one." Sylvie was flexible with showing times to work around my work schedule, and she was always professsional. Fantastic experience: Jodi and her team are WONDERFUL! They did such a great job staging our house and planning how to best market it. They put together an overall plan which involved a preview/sneak peak open house for neighbors, as well as a general open house a couple days later. This really drove up the number of people seeing our house and (even with the market slowing down in late spring 2022) we got 5 offers in less than 24 hours.
